< Hibulu 7 >

For this Melchisedec, king of Salem, priest of the most high God, who met Abraham returning from the slaughter of the kings, and blessed him;
2 Amanoba, A:ibalaha: me ea gegenana liligi lai huluane mogili, nabuane hamone, afadafa Melegisedegema i.
To whom also Abraham gave a tenth part of all; first being by interpretation King of righteousness, and after that also King of Salem, which is, King of peace;
3 Melegisedege ea ame, ea ada amola ea siba fi, bai huluane hame dedeiba: le ninia hame dawa: E da habogala lalelegei amola habogala bogoi, ninia hame dawa: E da Gode Eagofe amo ea fedege agoane diala. Ea gobele salasu dunu hawa: hamosu da mae dagole, eso huluane dialalalumu.
Without father, without mother, without descent, having neither beginning of days, nor end of life; but made like to the Son of God; abideth a priest continually.
Now consider how great this man [was], to whom even the patriarch Abraham gave the tenth of the spoils.
5 Isala: ili fi ganodini, Sema agoane dedei diala. Musa: gobele salasu dunu ea dio amo Lifai amo egaga fi, ilia da ilia fi dunu (amo amola ilia da A: ibalaha: me ea manolali) amoma liligi mogili nabuane agoane fifili, afadafa lamu.
And verily they that are of the sons of Levi, who receive the office of the priesthood, have a commandment to take tithes from the people according to the law, that is, from their brethren, though they come from the loins of Abraham:
6 Melegisedege da Lifai ea mano hame. Be e da A: ibalaha: me (ema Gode da hahawane dogolegele iasu imunu ilegele sia: i) ema ea liligi mogili, nabuane agoane fifili, afadafa (daide 1/10) lai.
But he whose descent is not counted from them received tithes from Abraham, and blessed him that had the promises.
And without all contradiction the less is blessed by the better.
8 Isala: ili fi dunu ilia da gobele salasu dunu (hobea bogomu dunu) ilima liligi mogili, nabuane fifili, la: idi afadafa iaha. Be Gode Sia: Dedei defele, Melegisedege ea hou da fedege agoane, eso huluane esalalalumu dunu da “daide” laha.
And here men that die receive tithes; but there he [receiveth them], of whom it is testified that he liveth.
And as I may say, Levi also, who receiveth tithes, payed tithes in Abraham.
Amanoba, A:ibalaha: me da Melegisedege gousa: lalu, “daide” ema i.
For he was yet in the loins of his father, when Melchisedec met him.
If therefore perfection were by the Levitical priesthood (for under it the people received the law) what further need [was there] that another priest should rise after the order of Melchisedec, and not be called after the order of Aaron?
12 Bai Gode da gobele salasu dunu fi afadenesea, E da Sema amola afadenemu.
For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a change also of the law.
13 Amo liligi huluane dedei da ninia Hina Gode Yesu Gelesu Ea hou olelesa. Amola E da fi hisu amo ganodini lalelegei. Ea fi amo ganodini, dunu afae da gobele salasu dunu hawa: hamosu hamedafa hamoi.
For he of whom these things are spoken pertaineth to another tribe, of which no man gave attendance at the altar.
For [it is] evident that our Lord sprang from Judah; of which tribe Moses spoke nothing concerning priesthood.
Gobele salasu dunu Hisu, Melegisedege agoane, da misi dagoi.
And it is yet far more evident: for that after the similitude of Melchisedec there ariseth another priest,
16 Gode da osobo bagade Sema mae dawa: le, be eso huluane mae bogole Fifi Ahoanusu amo ea gasaga, Yesu Gelesu Gobele Salasu dunu ilegei dagoi.
Who is made, not after the law of a carnal commandment, but after the power of an endless life.
For he testifieth, Thou [art] a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.
For there is verily a disannulling of the preceding commandment on account of its weakness and unprofitableness.
19 Bai Mousese ea Sema da liligi afadenene bu ida: iwane hamomusa: hame dawa: i. Be Gode da gaheabolo logo amoga ninia Godema gadenene misunusa: dawa: , amo hahamoi dagoi.
For the law made nothing perfect, but the introduction of a better hope [did]; by which we draw nigh to God.
And inasmuch as not without an oath [he was made priest]:
(For those priests were made without an oath; but this with an oath, by him that said to him, The Lord swore, and will not repent, Thou [art] a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec: ) (aiōn g165)
By so much was Jesus made a surety of a better testament.
And they truly were many priests, because they were not suffered to continue by reason of death:
But this [man], because he continueth ever, hath an unchangeable priesthood.
Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come to God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.
26 Amaiba: le, ninia fidisu huluanedafa amo hamomusa: , Yesu da Gobele Salasu Ouligisu Dunu defele esala. E da hadigi. Ea hou amo ganodini, ledo o wadela: i hou hamedafa ba: sa. Gode da Yesu wadela: i hou dunu amoga afafane, mu amo baligimusa: lale gadoi dagoi.
For such a high priest became us, [who is] holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens;
27 E da gobele salasu dunu eno agoane hame. E da musa: gobele salasu dunu defele eso huluane musa: ea wadela: i hou amo gogolema: ne olofosu amola fa: no ea fi dunu ilia wadela: i hou amo gogolema: ne olofosu, amo hamoma: ne gobele salasu hamomusa: da Ema hamedei. Bai E da wadela: i hou hamedafa dawa: Be E da gobele salasu afadafa fawane, bu eno mae hamoma: ne, Ea da: i hodo gobele salasu agoane i dagoi.
Who needeth not daily, as those high priests, to offer up sacrifice, first for his own sins, and then for the people's: for this he did once, when he offered up himself.
28 Mousese ea Sema dawa: le, osobo bagade dunu (dafasu dawa: dunu) ilia da gobele salasu Ouligisu dunu ilegesa. Be Gode Ea hahawane imunu ilegele sia: i liligi (amo E da Ea Dioba: le dafawane hamomu sia: i), amo da Sema amoga fa: no misi. Amo dawa: le, Gode da Egefedafa amo da ida: iwane logo dibi amoga doaga: i dagoi Dunu, Ema Gobele Salasu Ouligisudafa ilegei dagoi. (aiōn g165)
For the law maketh men high priests who have infirmity; but the word of the oath, which was after the law, [maketh] the Son, who is consecrated for evermore. (aiōn g165)
