1 Amaiba: le, ninia asigilai olelesu liligi dawa: ma: ne, bisili olelesu liligi yolesili, mae beba: le hagomodini masunu da defea. Musa: olelesu bai da ninia hamedei hawa: hamobeba: le Gode Ea hou hame dawa: mu, be Gode Ea hou dafawaneyale dawa: beba: le fawane gaga: su ba: mu. Eno da hanoga fane salasu hou, dunu ilegema: ne ea da: i hodo da: iya lobo ligisisu, bogoi bu wa: legadosu amola eso huluane se imunusa: fofada: su. Wherefore omitting the discourse about the first principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us proceed to perfection: not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works,
and of faith in God, of the doctrine of baptisms, and laying on of hands, and of the resurrection from the dead, and of eternal judgement: (tho' we will do this also, if God permit: ) (aiōnios g166)

for it is impossible that those,

who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the holy Spirit,

and of the good word of God, (aiōn g165)

and the powers of the gospel-age, and yet fall away, should be renewed again to repentance: since they again crucify to themselves the Son of God, and make an open example of Him.

For as the earth, which imbibeth the rain that is frequently coming upon it, and produceth herbs fit for those by whom it is cultivated, receiveth a blessing from God:

but that which bringeth forth thorns and briars, is rejected and near to a curse, (whose end is burning) so are they.
9 Be ninia dogolegei na: iyado dunu! Ninia da gasa bagade sia: sa. Be dilia hou da noga: i ninia da dawa: lala. Dilia gaga: su lalegagui amo defele hahawane hou dawa: sa, amo ninia dawa: lala.
But, beloved, we are persuaded better things of you, and things that accompany salvation, though we thus speak for your caution.
10 Bai Gode Ea hou da moloidafa. E da dunu udigili hame wadela: sa. Dilia da noga: le hawa: hamoi amola Yesu Ea hou lalegagui fi dunu fidisu amola fidilala, amo hamonanebeba: le, dilia da Ema asigi amo olelei. Gode da amo hou hame gogolemu.
For God is not unjust to forget your work and labor of love, which ye have shewn to his name, by having ministred to the saints, and yet ministring.
11 Be ninia bagade hanai da agoane gala. Dilia dafawane hamoma: beyale dawa: lusu liligi, amo huluane dafawane doaga: ma: ne, dilia wali amogainini soge wadela: mu eso doaga: sea, ha: giwane amola hanaiwane Gode Ea hawa: hamonanumu da defea.
And we desire that every one of you would shew the same diligence to acquire the full assurance of hope even unto the end:
12 Dilia hou da gudu sa: ili, higale hamomu ninia higa: i hodosa. Be ninia hanai da dilia da dafawaneyale dawa: su dunu amo ilia hou hame yolesibiba: le, Gode Ea ilegele imunu sia: i liligi huluane laha, amo dunu defele dilia da hamoma: mu.
that ye would not be sluggish, but imitators of them who through faith and patience are inheriting the promises.
13 Gode da A: ibalaha: mema imunu sia: noba, E da dafawane imunusa: ilegele sia: i. Dunu eno da Gode Ea hou hamedafa baligiba: le, Gode da Hi Dioba: le dafawane imunusa: ilegele sia: i.
For when God made the promise to Abraham, because He could swear by no greater, He sware by Himself, saying,
14 E amane sia: i, “Na dima ilegele sia: sa! Dia fi da hahawane ba: mu amola dia mano lalelegemu da bagohamedafa ba: mu. Amo hou Na da dima dafawane imunu!”
"Verily blessing I will bless thee, and multiplying I will multiply thee."
15 A: ibalaha: me da hahawane gebewane ouesalebeba: le, Gode Ea imunu ilegele sia: i liligi lai dagoi.
And thus waiting patiently he obtained the promise.
16 Osobo bagade dunu da dafawane hamomusa: sia: sea, e da mimogo dunu bagade amo ea hou da hi hou baligisa, amo ea dioba: le sia: sa. Amasea, dunu eno ilia da ea sia: i liligi amoma sia: ga gegemu hamedei ba: sa.
For men swear by a greater Being, and an oath for confirmation is to them an end of all controversy.
17 Gode da Ea ilegele imunu sia: i liligi hamedafa afadenemusa: dawa: i. E da amo imunu sia: i liligi dafawanedafa imunu noga: le olelemu dawa: i galu. Amaiba: le, E da Hi Dioba: le, Ea fi dunuma imunu ilegele sia: i.
Wherefore God being willing more abundantly to manifest unto the heirs of the promise the immutability of his counsel, confirmed it with an oath:

that by two immutable things, in which it is impossible for God to fail, we might have strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold on the hope set before us;
19 Amo hobea misunu dafawaneesaloma: beyale dawa: lusu da fedege agoane ninima a: go (dusagai mae masa: ne dioi bagade liligi dusagaiga la: gi) amo agoane diala. Amo mae muguluma: ne liligi da fedege agoane, gaga: su abula Debolo Diasu ganodini sone golili sa: ili, Hadigidafa Momei Sesei amo ganodini la: gi diala.
which we have as an anchor of the soul safe and stedfast, and which entereth within the veil.
20 Yesu Gelesu da ninima bisili Hadigidafa Momei Sesei amo ganodini golili sa: i dagoi. E da Gobele Salasu Ouligisu dunu amo Melegisedege ea fi agoane hamoi dagoi. (aiōn g165)
Whither Jesus our fore-runner is entered for us, being made an high-priest for ever, after the order of Melchisedec. (aiōn g165)
