1 Hina Gode Ea sia: olelema: ne balofede dunu Ha: ga: iaima bu sia: i. Amo da ode afae amola oubi fesu amola eso21 amoga hamoi.
In the seventh [month], in the one and twentieth [day] of the month, came the word of the LORD by the prophet Haggai, saying,
2 Hina Gode da Ea sia: Selababelema olelema: ne, balofede dunu Ha: ga: iaima adoi. Yuda ouligisu dunu, Yosiua (Gobele salasu dunu Ouligisu) amola dunu huluane ilima olelema: ne amane adoi,
Speak now to Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and to Joshua the son of Josedech, the high priest, and to the residue of the people, saying,
3 “Dilia afaega da musa: Debolo diasu noga: idafa amo haboda: i dialebe ba: sula: ? Be wali dia da haboda: i ba: sala: ? Amo ba: loba: , hamedeidafa agoai ba: sa.
Who [is] left among you that saw this house in her first glory? and how do ye see it now? [is it] not in your eyes in comparison of it as nothing?
4 Be dilia huluane waha gogosia: iwane mae da: i dioi dialoma. Na da nini gilisili esalumuba: le, hawa: hamoma.
Yet now be strong, O Zerubbabel, saith the LORD; and be strong, O Joshua, son of Josedech, the high priest; and be strong, all ye people of the land, saith the LORD, and work: for I [am] with you, saith the LORD of hosts:
5 Dili Idibidi fisili, gadili ahoanoba, Na da eso huluane dili fidilalumu, amo Na dilima ilegele sia: i dagoi. Na da wali amola dili esala. Amaiba: le, mae beda: ma!” Hina Gode E da amane sia: i.
[According to] the word that I covenanted with you when ye came out of Egypt, so my spirit remaineth among you: fear ye not.
6 Hina Gode da eno amane sia: i, “Fonobahadi aligili, Na da mu amola osobo bagade, (soge amola hano waeyabo) igumu.
For thus saith the LORD of hosts; Yet once, it [is] a little while, and I will shake the heavens, and the earth, and the sea, and the dry [land; ]
7 Na da fifi asi gala huluane wadela: lesimu. Amasea, fifi asi gala ilia gagui liligi huluane da Debolo Diasuga gaguli misi dagoi ba: mu. Amola Debolo Diasu da amoga nabamu.
And I will shake all nations, and the desire of all nations shall come: and I will fill this house with glory, saith the LORD of hosts.
8 Osobo bagadega silifa amola gouli dialebe amo huluane da Na: fawane.”
The silver [is] mine, and the gold [is] mine, saith the LORD of hosts.
9 Hina Gode Bagadedafa da amane sia: i, “Debolo diasu gaheabolo gagui amo da musa: gagui amo baligili noga: idafa dialumu. Amola Na fi dunu bagade gagui agoane esaloma: ne, Na da ilima olofosu imunu.”
The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former, saith the LORD of hosts: and in this place will I give peace, saith the LORD of hosts.
10 Ode ageyadu, amola oubi sesege amola eso 24 amoga Da: liase da hina bagade esalu, amo esoga Hina Gode da balofede dunu Ha: ga: iai, ema eno adole i.
In the four and twentieth [day] of the ninth [month], in the second year of Darius, came the word of the LORD by Haggai the prophet, saying,
11 E amane sia: i, “Gobele salasu dunu ilima amane adole ba: ma,
Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Ask now the priests [concerning] the law, saying,
12 ‘Dunu afae da gobele salimusa: modale ligiagai hu a: i afae lale, ea abulaga mabione gaguli ahoasea, amola ea abulaga agi ga: gi o ha: i gobei, waini hano, olife susuligi o ha: i manu eno amo digilisisia, amo ha: i manu amola da hu defele modale ligiagai hamobela: ?” Gobele salasu dunu da amo adole ba: su nabalu, bu adole i, “Hame! Amo ha: i manu da hame modale ligiagai.”
If one bear holy flesh in the skirt of his garment, and with his skirt do touch bread, or pottage, or wine, or oil, or any meat, shall it be holy? And the priests answered and said, No.
13 Amalalu, Ha: ga: iai da bu adole ba: i, “Dunu afae da bogoi da: i hodo digili ba: beba: le, fedege agoane nigima: madelai ba: sea, amola amo ha: i manu digili ba: sea, amo ha: i manu amola da nigima: madelai hamobela: ? Gobele salasu dunu da bu adole i “Ma! Amo ha: i manu da nigima: madelai dagoi ba: mu.”
Then said Haggai, If [one that is] unclean by a dead body touch any of these, shall it be unclean? And the priests answered and said, It shall be unclean.
14 Amalalu, Ha: ga: iai da amane sia: i, “Hina Gode da agoane sia: sa, ‘Amo hou dilia waha sia: i da Isala: ili dunu fi, amola ilia loboga hamoi liligi huluanedafa ea hou defele galu. Amaiba: le, liligi huluane ilia da oloda da: iya gobele salalebe da nigima: madelai dagoi ba: sa.’”
Then answered Haggai, and said, So [is] this people, and so [is] this nation before me, saith the LORD; and so [is] every work of their hands; and that which they offer there [is] unclean.
15 Hina Gode da amane sia: sa, “Dilima hamoi hou amo dili ba: sala: ? Debolo diasu muni bu buga: le gagumusa: gala,
And now, I pray you, consider from this day and upward, from before a stone was laid upon a stone in the temple of the LORD:
16 dilia gala: ine faili legei amoga ba: la asili, 200 gilogala: me dioi defei ba: musa: dawa: su be amomane 100 fawane ba: i. Dilia da waini hano 100 lida defei dimusa: dawa: i, be 40 lida defei fawane ba: i.
Since those [days] were, when [one] came to an heap of twenty [measures], there were [but] ten: when [one] came to the pressfat for to draw out fifty [vessels] out of the press, there were [but] twenty.
17 Na da gia: i bagade fo, dilia ha: i manu liligi bione sesenema: ne fo iasi. Na da mugene amola dilia ha: i manu bugi wadela: musa: iasi. Be amomane dilia da Nama bu hame sinidigisu.
I smote you with blasting and with mildew and with hail in all the labours of your hands; yet ye [turned] not to me, saith the LORD.
18 Wali esoha da 24 amola oubi sesege amoga da Debolo diasu bai fa: i amo wali esoga huluane dagoi ba: sa. Waha winini adi hamoma: beyale, ba: ma!
Consider now from this day and upward, from the four and twentieth day of the ninth [month, even] from the day that the foundation of the LORD’s temple was laid, consider [it].
19 Be amomane wali ga da ebelei dagoi, amola figi ifa, bomegala: nede ifa (goaba agoai), amola olife ifa amola fage hame legei gala, be waha winini Na dilima hahawane dogolegele fawane hamomu.
Is the seed yet in the barn? yea, as yet the vine, and the fig tree, and the pomegranate, and the olive tree, hath not brought forth: from this day will I bless [you].
20 Amo eso afae amoga (eso 24 amola oubi sesege) Hina Gode da Ha: ga: iai ema sia: eno, Selababele (Yuda eagene ouligisu dunu) amoma adosima: ne amane adoi, “Na da mu amola osobo bagade igumu gala.
And again the word of the LORD came unto Haggai in the four and twentieth [day] of the month, saying,
Speak to Zerubbabel, governor of Judah, saying, I will shake the heavens and the earth;
22 Na da fifi asi gala huluane amola ilia gasa wadela: lesimu. Na da sa: liode amola genonesisu dunu delegili fasili, bobaeyoi ba: mu. Hosi da bogogia: mu amola ili da: iya fila heda: i dunu da ili gobele fane legemu.
And I will overthrow the throne of kingdoms, and I will destroy the strength of the kingdoms of the heathen; and I will overthrow the chariots, and those that ride in them; and the horses and their riders shall come down, every one by the sword of his brother.
23 Amo esohaga, Na da di, Selababele, Na hawa: hamosu dunu, Na da di oule masunu, di da Na Dio: ba: le, ouligisu hou hamoma: ne ilegemu. Bai di fawane Na ilegei dagoi.” Hina Gode Bagadedafa da sia: i dagoi. Sia: Ama Dagoi
In that day, saith the LORD of hosts, will I take thee, O Zerubbabel, my servant, the son of Shealtiel, saith the LORD, and will make thee as a signet: for I have chosen thee, saith the LORD of hosts.
