1 Esela da Debolo midadia beguduli, dinanawane Isala: ili dunu ilia wadela: i hou fofada: nanu, amalu Isala: ili fi gilisisu bagade amo dunu, uda amola mano da guba: le sisiga: le ha: giwane didigia: lalu.
Whiles Ezra prayed thus, and confessed himselfe weeping, and falling downe before the house of God, there assembled vnto him of Israel a very great Congregation of men and women and children: for the people wept with a great lamentation.
2 Amalalu, Sieganaia (Yihaiele egefe amola Ilame fi dunu) da Esela ema amane sia: i, “Ninia da Godema dafawaneyale dawa: su yolesi dagoi. Bai ninia da ga fi uda lasu hou hamosu. Be Gode da Isala: ili dunu hame fisimu.
Then Shechaniah the sonne of Iehiel one of the sonnes of Elam answered, and sayd to Ezra, We haue trespassed against our God, and haue taken strange wiues of the people of the land, yet nowe there is hope in Israel concerning this.
3 Waha, ninia da Godema dafawaneyale ilegele sia: mu da defea, amo ninia da amo uda amola ilia mano fisiagamu da defea. Di amola eno dunu da Gode Ea Sema amoga noga: le fa: no bobogesa. Now therfore let vs make a couenant with our God, to put away all the wiues (and such as are borne of them) according to the counsell of the Lord, and of those that feare the commandements of our God, and let it be done according to the Lawe.

Arise: for the matter belogeth vnto thee: we also wil be with thee: be of comfort and do it.

Then arose Ezra, and caused the chiefe Priestes, the Leuites, and all Israel, to sweare that they would doe according to this worde. So they sware.
6 Amalalu Esela da Debolo midadi fisili asili, Ilaiasibi egefe Yihouha: ina: ne amo ea diasu ganodini golili sa: ili, mugululi asi buhagi dunu ilia wadela: i hou dawa: beba: le, amo gasia ha: i amola hano mae nawane dinanu.
And Ezra rose vp from before the house of God, and went into the chamber of Iohanan the sonne of Eliashib: he went euen thither, but he did eate neither bread, nor drunke water: for he mourned, because of the transgression of them of the captiuitie.
7 Ilia da Yelusaleme amola Yuda soge huluane amoga, sia: amane lalaba lai, mugululi asi buhagi dunu huluane da Yelusalemega gegedoma: ne sia: si.
And they caused a proclamation to goe throughout Iudah and Ierusalem, vnto all them of the captiuitie, that they should assemble themselues vnto Ierusalem.
8 Amo da Isala: ili ouligisu dunu ilia sia: i. Eso udiana aligili, nowa dunu da hame masea, ea liligi huluane enoga lai dagoi ba: mu, amola e da Isala: ili fi amoga fadegai dagoi ba: mu.
And whosoeuer woulde not come within three dayes according to the counsel of the Princes and Elders, all his substance should be forfait, and he should be separate from the Congregation of them of the captiuitie.
9 Eso udiana mae aligili, oubi sesege amola eso 20 amoga, dunu huluane Yuda soge amola Bediamini soge amo ganodini esalu da Yelusalemega gegedole, Debolo gagoi amo ganodini gilisili esalebe ba: i. Gibu bagadewane dasu amola dunu huluane da yagugui. Bai ilia da gibuga anegagi amola gilisisu bai da bagadeba: le, ilia da beda: i.
Then all the men of Iudah and Beniamin assembled theselues vnto Ierusalem within three dayes, which was the twentieth day of the ninth moneth, and all the people sate in the streete of the house of God, trembling for this matter, and for the raine.
10 Gobele salasu dunu Esela da wale gadole, ilima amane sia: i, “Dilia da dafawaneyale hame dawa: su hou hamoi dagoi. Dilia da ga fi uda lai dagoiba: le, Isala: ili fi amo ganodini wadela: i hou bagade dialebe ba: sa.
And Ezra the Priest stoode vp, and said vnto them, Ye haue transgressed, and haue taken strange wiues, to increase the trespasse of Israel.
11 Amaiba: le, waha dilia wadela: i hou amo dilia aowalalia Hina Godema fofada: ma! Amasea, E da dilima hahawane ba: mu. Dilia ga fi dunu dilia soge ganodini esala ilima afafama. Amola dilia ga fi uda huluane fisiagama!”
Now therefore giue praise vnto the Lord God of your fathers, and do his will, and separate your selues from the people of the land, and from the strange wiues.
12 Dunu huluane da ha: giwane wele sia: i, amane, “Ninia da dia hamoma: ne sia: i defele hamomu!”
And all the Congregation answered, and sayd with a loude voyce, So will we do according to thy wordes vnto vs.
13 Be ilia da eno amane sia: i, “Dunu gilisi da bagadedafa amola gibu bagade daha. Ninia da udigili hamega gadili lelemu da hamedei. Ninia da dunu bagohame amo wadela: i hou hamoi dagoi. Amaiba: le, eso afaega o adunaga hahamomu da hamedei.
But the people are many, and it is a raynie weather, and we are not able to stande without, neither is it the worke of one day or two: for we are many that haue offended in this thing.
14 Ninia ouligisu dunu da Yelusalemega esalu amo hou ouligimu da defea. Amasea, eso afae ilegemu da defea. Amoga, nowa dunu da ga fi uda lai galea, e amola ea moilai ouligisu dunu amola fofada: su dunu gilisili misunu da defea. Amasea, Gode da amo ninia wadela: i hou hamobeba: le ougisa, amo E da yolesimu.”
Let our rulers stand therefore before all the Congregation, and let all them which haue taken strange wiues in our cities, come at the time appoynted, and with them the Elders of euery citie and the Iudges thereof, til the fierce wrath of our God for this matter turne away from vs.
15 Dunu huluane ilia da amo hou da defea sia: i. Be A: sahele egefe Yonada: ne, Digifa egefe Yasiaia, Misiala: me amola Sia: bidai (Lifai dunu), ilia da hame fuligala: su.
Then were appoynted Ionathan the sonne of Asah-el, and Iahaziah the sonne of Tikuah ouer this matter, and Meshullam and Shabbethai the Leuites helped them.
16 Be mugululi asi buhagi dunu huluane da amo hou fuligala: beba: le, gobele salasu dunu Esela da fi ouligisu dunu mogili ilegele, ilia dio dedei dagoi. Eso age oubi nabuane amoga, ilia da amo hou muni abodesu.
And they of the captiuitie did so, and departed, euen Ezra the Priest, and the men that were chiefe fathers to the familie of their fathers by name, and sate downe in the first day of the tenth moneth to examine the matter.
17 Oubi udiana fa: no amoga ilia da dunu huluane amo da ga fi uda lai, amo ilia hou abodei.
And vntill the first day of the first moneth they were finishing the businesse with al the men that had taken strange wiues.
18 Dunu da ga fi uda lai amo ilia dio da hagudu dedei. Gobele salasu dunu da ga fi uda lai ilia fi dio da Yosiua amola ea yolalali (Yihosada: ge egefe) fi. Amo dunu ilia ga fi uda lai ilia dio da Ma: iasiai, Eleisa, Ya: ilibe amola Gedalaia.
And of the sonnes of the Priests there were men founde, that had taken strange wiues, to wit, of the sonnes of Ieshua, the sonne of Iozadak, and of his brethren, Maaseiah, Aeliezer, and Iarib and Gedaliah.
19 Amo dunu ilia uda fisiagamusa: sia: i, amalu ilia sibi gawali Godema gobele salasu hamoi, ilia wadela: i hou dodofema: ne. Eno dunu da ga fi uda lai amo ilia fi dio amola ilia dio da hagudu dedei diala: -
And they gaue their hads, that they would put away their wiues, and they that had trespassed, gaue a ramme for their trespasse.
20 Ime fi...Hana: inai amola Sebadaia.
And of the sonnes of Immer, Honani, and Zebadiah.
21 Ha: ilime fi...Ma: iasiai, Ilaidia, Siema: iya, Yihaiele amola Asaia.
And of the sonnes of Harim, Maaseiah, and Eliiah, and Shemaiah, and Iehiel, and Vzziah.
22 Ba: sie fi...Eliounai, Ma: iasisi, Isiama: iele, Nida: niele, Yosaba: de amola Elasa.
And of ye sonnes of Pashur, Elioenai, Maaseiah, Ishmael, Nethaneel, Iozabad, and Elasah.
23 Lifai fi dunu...Yosaba: de, Simiai, Gila: iya (eno dio da Gelida), Bedahaia, Yuda amola Eleisa.
And of the Leuites, Iozabad and Shimei, and Kelaiah, (which is Kelitah) Pethahiah, Iudah and Eliezer.
24 Gesami Hea: su fi...Ilaiasibi Debolo sosodo aligisu fi...Sia: lame, Dileme amola Uli
And of the singers, Eliashib. And of the porters, Shallum, and Telem, and Vri.
25 Eno dunu amo da ga fi uda lai da amo, Ba: ilose fi...Lamaia, Isaia, Ma: lagaia, Midiamini, Elia: isa, Ma: lagaia amola Bina: ia
And of Israel: of the sonnes of Parosh, Ramiah, and Iesiah, and Malchiah, and Miamin, and Eleazar, and Malchiiah, and Benaiah.
26 Ilame fi...Ma: danaia, Segalia, Yihaiele, A:badai, Yelemode amola Ilaidia
And of the sonnes of Elam, Mattaniah, Zechariah, and Iehiel, and Abdi, and Ieremoth, and Eliah.
27 Sa: du fi...Eliounai, Iliasibi, Ma: danaia, Yelemode, Sa: iba: de amola Asaisa
And of the sonnes of Zattu, Elioenai, Eliashib, Mattaniah, and Ierimoth, and Zabad, and Aziza.
28 Biba: iai fi...Yihoha: ina: ne, Ha: nanaia, Sa: ba: yai amola A: dalai
And of the sonnes of Bebai, Iehohanan, Hananiah, Zabbai, Athlai.
29 Ba: inai fi...Misiala: me, Ma: lage, Ada: iya, Ya: isiabe, Sia: le amola Yelemode
And of the sonnes of Bani, Meshullam, Malluch, and Adaiah, Iashub, and Sheal, Ieramoth.
30 Ba: iha: de Moua: be fi...A: dana, Gila: le, Bina: ia, Ma: iasiai, Ma: danaia, Bisa: liele, Binuai amola Ma: na: se
And of the sonnes of Pahath Moab, Adna, and Chelal, Benaiah, Maaseiah, Mattaniah, Bezaleel, and Binnui, and Manasseh.
And of the sonnes of Harim, Eliezer, Ishiiah, Malchiah, Shemaiah, Shimeon,
32 Ha: ilime fi...Eleisa, Isiya, Ma: lagaia, Siema: iya, Simiane, Bediamini, Ma: lage amola Siemalaiya
Beniamin, Malluch, Shamariah.
33 Ha: isiame fi...Ma: dina: yai, Ma: dada, Sa: iba: de, Ilifelede, Yelemai, Ma: na: se amola Simiai
Of the sonnes of Hashum, Mattenai, Mattattah, Zabad, Eliphelet, Ieremai, Manasseh, Shimei.
34 Ba: inai fi...Ma: yada: yai, A:mala: me, Iuele, Bina: ya, Bidiya, Giluhi, Fana: ya, Melimode, Ilaiasibi, Ma: danaia, Ma: dena: yai amola Ya: ya: su.

Vaniah, Meremoth, Eliashib,

Shallum, Amariah, Ioseph.

Of the sonnes of Nebo, Ieiel, Mattithiah, Zabad, Zebina, Iadau, and Ioel, Benaiah.
44 Amo dunu huluane da ga fi uda lai dagoi. Ilia da amo uda fisiagale, amo uda amola ilia mano ga asunasi. Sia: ama dagoi
All these had taken strange wiues: and among them were women that had children.
