Da:i Dione Dawa:i Olelesu 12
1 Amaiba: le, dilia da goi gogawane, dili Hahamosu Dunu dawa: ma. Fa: no da: i dioi eso da dilima doaga: mu. Amo ganodini dilia da, “Na esalusu ganodini, na da hahawane hame gala,” amane sia: mu.
Remember also thy Creators in days of thy youth, While that the evil days come not, Nor the years have arrived, that thou sayest, 'I have no pleasure in them.'
2 Amo esoha eso amola oubi amola gasumuni ilia hadigi amo di da gasi hahamoi agoane ba: mu, amola eso huluane gibu mobi da dialumu.
While that the sun is not darkened, and the light, And the moon, and the stars, And the thick clouds returned after the rain.
3 Amasea, dia lobo (amo da di gaga: i dialu) da yagugumu amola dia emo waha gasa galebe, da goayamu. Dia bese oda da duduga: iba: le, dia ha: i manu agimu gogolemu amola dia si da uliligiba: le, noga: le ba: mu gogolemu.
In the day that keepers of the house tremble, And men of strength have bowed themselves, And grinders have ceased, because they have become few. And those looking out at the windows have become dim,
4 Dia ge da ga: i dagoiba: le, logoba: le ga: da hame nabimu. Di da gagoma goudasu ea ga: amola baidama dubi amo fonobahadi fawane nabimu. Be sio ea gesami hea: su amoga fawane da dia golabe didilisimu.
And doors have been shut in the street. When the noise of the grinding is low, And [one] riseth at the voice of the bird, And all daughters of song are bowed down.
5 Di da gadodafa sogebi amoga masa: ne beda: mu, amola dia ahoabe da se nabasa: besa: le, beda: mu. Dia dialuma hinabo da gago aligimu. Di da gasa fili masunu gogolemu amola dia hanai dawa: su da asi dagoi ba: mu. Ninia da esalebe dagomusa: helefisu amoga ahoa, amola ninia bogosea, dunu da logoga heawini dinanebe ba: mu.
Also of that which is high they are afraid, And of the low places in the way, And the almond-tree is despised, And the grasshopper is become a burden, And want is increased, For man is going unto his home age-during, And the mourners have gone round through the street.
6 Silifa sia: ine da damui dagoi ba: mu. Gouliga hamoi gamali da hanega: ne sa: ili, goudamu. Hano nasu ulidou ea hano disu efe da damuni gala: mu amola hano disu ofodo da goudamu.
While that the silver cord is not removed, And the golden bowl broken, And the pitcher broken by the fountain, And the wheel broken at the well.
7 Ninia da: i da osobo guluga buhagimu. Amola ninia mifo amo Gode da ninma i, amo da Hima buhagimu.
And the dust returneth to the earth as it was, And the spirit returneth to God who gave it.
8 Sia: Dabe Alofele Iasu Dunu da amane sia: i, “Hamedei! Hamedei! Huluanedafa da hamedei!”
Vanity of vanities, said the preacher, the whole [is] vanity.
9 Be Sia: Dabe Alofele Iasu Dunu da dawa: bagade lai dagoiba: le, e da gebewane dunu oda ilima ea dawa: hou olelelalu. E da malasu dedei ilia bai hogolalu, ilia hou ba: le dawa: musa: adoba: i.
And further, because the preacher was wise, he still taught the people knowledge, and gave ear, and sought out — he made right many similes.
10 E da eno dunu dogo denesima: ne sia: hogoi helei. Be e da sia: moloidafa fawane dedei.
The preacher sought to find out pleasing words, and, written [by] the upright, words of truth.
11 Bagade dawa: su dunu ilia fada: i sia: da galiamo debei amoga sibi ouligisu dunu da ilia sibi sesu, agoaiwane gala. Amola malasu gilisi da mae mugululi, gafesi noga: le dabagala: i defele agoane ba: mu. Gode da ninia Sibi Ouligisudafa afadafa fawane esala. Amola E da amo malasu ninima i dagoi.
Words of the wise [are] as goads, and as fences planted [by] the masters of collections, they have been given by one shepherd.
12 Nagofe! Liligi eno amo di noga: le dawa: digima: ne diala. Buga dedesu dagomu dibi da hamedafa. Amola di da baligili dawa: bagade lamusa: hamosea, hele bagade nabimu.
And further, from these, my son, be warned; the making of many books hath no end, and much study [is] a weariness of the flesh.
13 Wali, sia: huluane da sia: i dagoi. Be sia: dagomusa: , sia: afadafa fawane gala, amane. “Godeba: le beda: ma! Ea hamoma: ne sia: i nabawane hamoma! Bai amo hou hamoma: ne, Gode da dunu fi hahamoi dagoi.
The end of the whole matter let us hear: — 'Fear God, and keep His commands, for this [is] the whole of man.
14 Gode da ninia hamoi, noga: i o wadela: i, amo huluane amoma fofada: mu. Siga ba: i hou amola wamo hamoi hou, amo huluanema, E da fofada: mu.” Sia: ama dagoi
For every work doth God bring into judgment, with every hidden thing, whether good or bad.'
