Mousese Ea Malasu 9
1 Isala: ili fi nabima! Wali eso dilia da Yodane Hano degemusa: ouesala. Dilia da dunu fi amo ilia idi da dilia idi amo baligisa, amo ilia soge gesowale fimu. Ilia moilai bai bagade da bagadedafa, amola ilia gagili sali dobea da muagado agoane heda: sa.
“Hear, O Israel: You are passing over the Jordan today to go in to possess nations greater and mightier than yourself, cities great and fortified up to the heavens,
2 Dunu da sedade amola gasa bagade. Ilia da dunu bagade amola dilia da nabi eno dunu da ilima hasalasimu da hamedei.
a people great and tall, sons of Anakim, whom you have known, and [of whom] you have heard: Who stations himself before sons of Anak?
3 Be wali dilisu da ba: mu. Hina Gode da nimi bagade lalu defele dilima bisimu. Dilia da gusuba: i ahoasea, E da ili fane legemu. Amasea, E da dilima ilegele sia: i defele, dilia da ili gadili sefasili, hedolowane gugunufinisimu.
And you have known today that your God YHWH [is] He who is passing over before you [as] a consuming fire; He destroys them, and He humbles them before you, and you have dispossessed them, and destroyed them quickly, as YHWH has spoken to you.
4 Be Hina Gode da dili fidima: ne amo dunu fi gadili sefasi dagoi ba: sea, E da dilisu hou noga: idafa hamoiba: le, dili gesowale fimusa: ganodini oule misi mae sia: ma. Hame mabu! Hina Gode da amo dunu fi da wadela: idafa hamobeba: le, E da amo dunu fi gadili sefasimu.
You do not speak in your heart (in your God YHWH’s driving them away from before you), saying, In my righteousness YHWH has brought me in to possess this land; but in YHWH dispossessing these nations from your presence, [it is because of] their being wicked.
5 Hina Gode da dilia amo fi ilia soge lama: ne, logo doasisa. Be bai dilia da dunu ida: iwane amola hou noga: i fawane hamosa amo hame. Amo dunu fi da wadela: idafaba: le amola Hina Gode da Ea musa dilia aowalali A: ibalaha: me, Aisage amola Ya: igobe ilima ilegele sia: i dagoiba: le, E da amo dunu fi gadili sefasimu.
[It is] not in your righteousness and in the uprightness of your heart [that] you are going in to possess their land, but in YHWH dispossessing these nations from your presence, [it is because of] their being wicked, and in order to establish the word which YHWH has sworn to your fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob;
6 Dilia dabe ida: iwane lama: ne noga: le hamoi dagoiba: le, Hina Gode da amo soge dilima iaha, amo mae dawa: ma! Hame mabu! Dilia da hame nabasu dunu fi.
and you have known that [it is] not in your righteousness [that] your God YHWH is giving this good land to you to possess it, for you [are] a people stiff of neck.
7 Dilia hou hamobeba: le, Hina Gode da hafoga: i soge ganodini ougi bagade galu. Amo mae gogolema! Dilia da Idibidi soge fisili, amo esoganini dilia da Gode Ea sia: hame nabasu.
Remember [and] do not forget that [with] which you have made your God YHWH angry in the wilderness; from the day that you have come out of the land of Egypt until your coming to this place, you have been rebellious against YHWH;
8 Amola Sainai Goumi amoga dilia hou hamobeba: le, Hina Gode da dilima ougi galu. E da dili gugunufinisimusa: amo defele ougi galu.
even in Horeb you have made YHWH angry, and YHWH shows Himself angry against you—to destroy you.
9 Na da gele gasui amoga Hina Gode Ea gousa: su E dilima hamoi dedei dagoi, amo lamusa: goumiba: le heda: i. Na da amogawi eso 40amola gasi 40, ha: i amola hano mae nawane esalu.
In my going up into the mountain to receive the tablets of stone (tablets of the covenant which YHWH has made with you), then I abide on the mountain forty days and forty nights; I have not eaten bread and I have not drunk water;
10 Amalalu, Hina Gode da gele gasui aduna nama i. Amoga Ea sia: E da musa: dilia da goumia gilisisu E da laluga amodili dilima sia: i, amo Ea loboga gele gasuiga dedei ba: i.
and YHWH gives to me the two tablets of stone written with the finger of God, and on them [is] according to all the words which YHWH has spoken with you on the mountain, out of the midst of the fire, in the day of the assembly.
11 Dafawane! Amo eso 40amola gasi 40da dagoloba, Hina Gode da amo gousa: su E da gele gasuiga dedei amo nama i.
And it comes to pass, at the end of forty days and forty nights, YHWH has given the two tablets of stone to me—tablets of the covenant.
12 Amalalu, Hina Gode da nama amane sia: i, ‘Hedolo! Goumiba: le sa: ima! Bai dia fi amo di da Idibidi soge yolesimusa: gadili oule asi amo da ilia hou gugunufinisi dagoi. Ilia da Na sia: mae nabawane, sinidigili, loboga hamoi ‘gode’ liligi amoma sia: ne gadomusa: hamoi dagoi.’
Then YHWH says to me, Rise, go down, hurry from here, for your people whom you have brought out of Egypt have done corruptly; they have quickly turned aside from the way which I have commanded them—they have made a molten thing for themselves!
13 Hina Gode da eno nama amane sia: i, ‘Amo dunu ilia ga: nasi hame nabasu hou Na dawa: !
And YHWH speaks to me, saying, I have seen this people, and behold, it [is] a people stiff of neck.
14 Na logo mae damuma! Na da amo dunu fi fane legemu. Amasea, fa: no dunu huluane da amo fi bu hame dawa: mu. Amasea, Na da di amo dunu fi guiguda: esala ilia idi amola ilia gasa baligisu, fi gaheabolo dia fi hamomu.’
Desist from Me, and I destroy them, and blot out their name from under the heavens, and I make you become a nation more mighty and numerous than it.
15 Amalalu, na da sinidigili, gele gasui aduna amoga gousa: su dedei amo gaguiwane goumiba: le sa: i. Lalu gona: su amo goumia manebe ba: i.
And I turn and come down from the mountain, and the mountain is burning with fire, and the two tablets of the covenant [are] on my two hands,
16 Dilia da Hina Gode Ea hamoma: ne sia: i amo hame nabasu amola bulamagau mano gouliga hamoi dagoi, amo na ba: i dagoi.
and I see, and behold, you have sinned against your God YHWH; you have made a molten calf for yourselves; you have quickly turned aside from the way which YHWH has commanded you.
17 Amaiba: le, dilia midadi na da gele gasui amo galaguduli goudane dagoi.
And I lay hold on the two tablets, and cast them out of my two hands, and break them before your eyes,
18 Amalalu, na da osoboga diasa: ili, na odagi osoboga doaga: le, eso 40amola gasi 40, ha: i amola hano mae nawane, Hina Gode ba: ma: ne ouesalu. Bai dilia da Hina Godema ougima: ne wadela: le hamoi.
and I throw myself before YHWH, as at first, [for] forty days and forty nights; I have not eaten bread and I have not drunk water, because of all your sins which you have sinned by doing evil in the eyes of YHWH, to make Him angry.
19 Hina Gode Ea ougi da gia: i bagadeba: le, E da dili huluane gugunufinisimusa: dawa: i. Amaiba: le, na da bagadewane beda: i galu. Be Hina Gode da na sia: bu nabi.
For I have been afraid because of the anger and the fury with which YHWH has been angry against you, to destroy you; and YHWH also listens to me at this time.
20 Hina Gode da Elanema ougiba: le, E da Elane amola medole legemusa: defele ba: i. Amaiba: le, na da Elane gaga: musa: sia: ne gadoi.
And YHWH has showed Himself very angry with Aaron, to destroy him, and I also pray for Aaron at that time.
21 Na da dilia hamoi liligi, amo wadela: i gouli bulamagau mano agoaila: , amo lale, lalu ganodini galadigi. Amalalu, amo liligi goudane, osobo su agoane hamone, hano amo da goumia dasu amo ganodini galadigi.
And I have taken your sin, the calf which you have made, and I burn it with fire, and beat it, grinding well until it [is] small as dust, and I cast its dust into the brook which is going down out of the mountain.
22 Amola dilia da Hina Gode ougima: ne eno hamoi. Dilia da Dabila, Masa amola Gibalode Ha: da: iafa amo sogega agoane hamosu.
And in Taberah, and in Massah, and in Kibroth-Hattaavah, you have been making YHWH angry;
23 Amola Ga: idesie Bania sogega, Hina Gode da soge E da dilima iaha amo dili lamusa: asunahoa, dilia da Ea sia: bu hame nabasu. Dilia da Ea sia: dafawaneyale hame dawa: su amola Ea sia: hame nabasu.
also in YHWH’s sending you from Kadesh-Barnea, saying, Go up and possess the land which I have given to you; then you provoke the mouth of your God YHWH, and have not given credence to Him, nor listened to His voice.
24 Eso huluane amoga na da dili dawa: , dilia da Hina Godema odoga: su hou hamosu.
You have been rebellious against YHWH from the day of my knowing you.
25 Amaiba: le, na da odagi osoboga diasa: ili, Hina Gode Ea midadi esalu. Bai E da dili gugunufinisimusa: dawa: beba: le, na da agoane hamosu.
And I throw myself before YHWH—the forty days and the forty nights when I had thrown myself—because YHWH has commanded to destroy you;
26 Amola na da amane sia: ne gadoi, ‘Hina Gode Bagadedafa. Dia fi dunu mae gugunufinisima. Amo fi Di fawane da Dia gasa bagade amoga gaga: le, Idibidi sogega fisili masa: ne gadili oule asi.
and I pray to YHWH, and say, Lord YHWH, do not destroy Your people and Your inheritance whom You have ransomed in Your greatness, whom You have brought out of Egypt with a strong hand;
27 Dia hawa: hamosu dunu amo A: ibalaha: me, Aisage amola Ya: igobe ili bu dawa: ma. Amola amo dunu fi ilia hame nabasu amola ga: nasi si dofoi hou mae dawa: ma.
be mindful of Your servants, of Abraham, of Isaac, and of Jacob; do not turn to the stiffness of this people, and to its wickedness, and to its sin,
28 Idibidi dunu da Di da Dia fi dunu amo Dia sia: i soge amo ganodini oule masunu da hamedei, amo ilia da sia: sa: besa: le, Dia fi mae wadela: ma. Di da Dia fi ilima higabeba: le, Di da ili medole legemusa: wadela: i hafoga: i sogega oule asi dagoi, ilia da sia: mu.
lest the land from which You have brought us out says, Because of YHWH’s want of ability to bring them into the land of which He has spoken to them, and because of His hating them, He brought them out to put them to death in the wilderness.
29 Bu dawa: ma! Amo fi Di da Dia fidafa hamoma: ne ilegei dagoi. Di da amo fi Dia gasa bagade amoga Idibidi sogega fisili masa: ne gadili oule asi.’”
And they [are] Your people and Your inheritance, whom You have brought out by Your great power and by Your outstretched arm!”
