1 Mousese da eno amane sia: i, “Dilia Hina Gode da dili soge amo dilia da gesowale fimu amoga oule misini, fi bagohame amo ganodini esalebe, E da gadili sefasimu. Dilia da gusuba: i ahoasea, E da fi fesuale gala amo huluane ilia idi amola ilia gasa da dilia baligisa, amo E da gadili sefasimu. Amo fi da Hidaide, Gegasaide, A:moulaide, Ga: ina: naide, Belesaide, Haifaide amola Yebiusaide.
“When your God YHWH brings you into the land to where you are going in to possess it, and He has cast out many nations from your presence, the Hittite, and the Girgashite, and the Amorite, and the Canaanite, and the Perizzite, and the Hivite, and the Jebusite, seven nations more numerous and mighty than you,
2 Dilia Hina Gode da amo dunu fi dilima iasea, dilia amo huluane medole legema. Ilima gousa: su mae hamoma amola ilima mae asigima.
and your God YHWH has given them before you, then you have struck them—you utterly devote them—you do not make a covenant with them, nor do you favor them.
3 Ilima uda lasu mae hamoma amola dilia mano da ilima uda lasu hou hamedafa hamoma: mu.
And you do not join in marriage with them; you do not give your daughter to his son, and you do not take his daughter to your son,
4 Bai agoai hamosea, ilia da dilia mano Hina Godema fadegasea, eno ogogosu ‘gode’ liligi amoma nodone sia: ne gadomusa: oule masunu. Amasea, Hina Gode da dilima ougimu amola dili hedolo gugunufinisimu.
for he turns aside your son from after Me, and they have served other gods; and the anger of YHWH has burned against you and has destroyed you quickly.
5 Amaiba: le, ilia oloda huluane muguluma. Ilia sema mogomogoi gele amoma sia: ne gadosu liligi goudanesima. Ilia ogogosu uda ‘gode’ A: sela ea olei liligi amo abima amola ilia loboga hamoi ogogosu ‘gode’ liligi laluga ulagisima.
But thus you do to them: you break down their altars, and you shatter their standing pillars, and you cut down their Asherim, and you burn their carved images with fire.
6 Bai dilia da dilia Hina Gode Ea Fidafa. E da osobo bagade fifi asi gala huluane ba: lalu, dilisu Ea fidafa hamoma: ne ilegei dagoi.
For you [are] a holy people to your God YHWH; your God YHWH has fixed on you, to be to Him for a peculiar people, out of all the peoples who [are] on the face of the ground.
7 E da dilia idi da osobo bagade fi huluane eno ilia idi baligiba: le, dili Ea fi hamoma: ne hame ilegei. Bai dilia da osobo bagade fifi asi gala amo ganodini fonobahadidafa fi ba: i. Eno fi huluane ilia idi da dilia idi baligi.
YHWH has delighted in you and fixes on you, not because of your being more numerous than any of the peoples, for you [are] the least of all the peoples,
8 Be Hina Gode da dilima asigi amola E da Ea musa: sia: i amo dilia aowalali ilima ilegele sia: i amo hamomusa: hanai galu. Amaiba: le, E da dilia musa: Idibidi hina bagade ea se iasu diasu udigili hawa: hamonanu, dili halegale masa: ne, amo logo doasi dagoi.
but because of YHWH’s loving you, and because of His keeping the oath which He has sworn to your fathers; YHWH has brought you out by a strong hand, and ransoms you from a house of servants, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt.
9 Dilia Hina Gode Hisu da Godedafa amola E da Ea fi yolesimu hame dawa: Amo mae gogolema. E da Ea gousa: su noga: le ouligimu amola E mae yolesili asigi hou amo E da Ema asigi dunu amola nabasu dunu egaga fifi misunu idi amo1000 asili ilima olelemu.
And you have known that He, your God YHWH, [is] God, the faithful God keeping the covenant and the kindness with those loving Him and with those keeping His commands, for one thousand generations,
10 Be E da hedolowane Ema higa: i dunuma se nabasu imunu.
and repaying to those hating Him to their face, to destroy them; He does not delay to him who is hating Him, He repays [it] to him to his face.
11 Amaiba: le, dilia na olelei liligi huluane nabawane hamoma. Dilia sema huluane na da wali eso dilima olelei, amoma fa: no bobogema.
And you have kept the command, and the statutes, and the judgments, which I am commanding you today to do them.
12 Dilia da mae yolesili amo hamoma: ne sia: i nabawane hamosea, dilia Hina Gode amola da Ea gousa: su dilima i amo noga: le ouligimu. Amola E da dilia aowalali ilima dafawane ilegele sia: i defele, E da Ea asigidafa hou mae yolesili dilima olelemu.
And it has been, because you hear these judgments, and have kept and done them, that your God YHWH has kept the covenant and the kindness with you which He has sworn to your fathers,
13 E da dilima asigimu amola hahawane dogolegelewane imunu. Dilia idi da heda: mu amola dilia mano bagohame lalelegemu. E da dilia ifabi amoma hahawane dogolegele hamomu. Amasea dilia da gagoma, waini amola olife susuligi bagade ba: mu. E da dili hahawane fidili, bulamagau amola sibi bagohame dilima imunu. E da dilima amo hahawane dogolegele hou hamomu. E da amo hou soge amo E da dilia aowalali ilima imunu ilegele sia: i, amo ganodini hamomu.
and has loved you, and blessed you, and multiplied you, and has blessed the fruit of your womb, and the fruit of your ground, your grain, and your new wine, and your oil, the increase of your oxen, and the wealth of your flock, on the ground which He has sworn to your fathers to give to you.
14 Ea hahawane fidisu hou dilima da amo hou eno fifi asi gala hamosu bagadewane baligimu. Dilia amola dilia ohe fi da aligime hamedafa ba: mu.
Blessed are you above all the peoples; there is not a barren man or a barren woman in you—nor among your livestock;
15 Dilia da mae oloma: ne, Hina Gode da dili gaga: mu. Dilia olo bagade Idibidi soge ganodini madelai amo da dilima hame madelamu. Be E da dilima ha lai dunu ilima amo olo madelama: ne imunu.
and YHWH has turned aside every sickness from you, and none of the evil diseases of Egypt (which you have known) does He put on you, and He has put them on all hating you.
16 Gode da dunu fi mogili dilia gasaga ilima hasalasima: ne, dilima imunu. Amo dunu fi ilima mae asigili wadela: ma. Dilia da bogosa: besa: le, ilia ogogosu ‘gode’ma mae nodone sia: ne gadoma.
And you have consumed all the peoples whom your God YHWH is giving to you; your eye has no pity on them, and you do not serve their gods, for it [is] a snare to you.
17 Amo dunu fi ilia idi da dilia idi amo baligiba: le, dilia da ili sefasimu da hamedei mae dawa: ma.
When you say in your heart, These nations [are] more numerous than I, how am I able to dispossess them?
18 Ilima mae beda: ma! Hina Gode da Idibidi Hina amola ea dunu fi ilima gasa bagade hou hamoi. Amo mae gogolema.
You are not afraid of them; you surely remember that which your God YHWH has done to Pharaoh and to all of Egypt,
19 Se nabasu bagade da ilima doaga: i. Amo dilia da siga ba: i dagoiba: le mae gogolema. Hina Gode da dilia se iasu diasu logo doasima: ne, gasa bagadedafa hawa: hamosu amo amola mae gogolema. E da Idibidi dunu fi gugunufinisi dagoi. Amo defele E da dunu fi amo dilia da wali ilima beda: i, E da amo dunu gugunufinisimu.
the great trials which your eyes have seen, and the signs, and the wonders, and the strong hand, and the outstretched arm, with which your God YHWH has brought you out; so does your God YHWH do to all the peoples of whose presence you are afraid.
20 Ea hamobeba: le, ilia da beda: iba: le, ededenale hobeamu. Ilia da hobeale, wamoaligimusa: dawa: mu, be E da amo huluane gugunufinisimu.
And your God YHWH also sends the locust among them, until the destruction of those who are left, even those who are hidden from your presence;
21 Amaiba: le, amo dunu fi ilima mae beda: ma. Hina Gode da dili fidimusa: esala. E da Gode bagadedafa amola dunu huluane da Ema beda: mu da defea.
you are not terrified by their presence, for your God YHWH [is] in your midst, a God great and fearful.
22 Dilia da gusuba: i ahoasea, E da amo dunu fi huluane afae afae gadili sefasimu. Dilia da eso afae amo ganodini amo dunu fi gugunufinisimu hamedei ba: mu. Amai galea gasonasu ohe fi ilia idi da heda: le, dili gugunufinisimu.
And your God YHWH has cast out these nations from your presence little [by] little (you are not able to consume them quickly, lest the beast of the field multiplies against you),
23 Be Hina Gode da dilima ha lai amo dili gugunufinisima: ne dilima imunu. Ilia da bagadewane ededenale beda: lalu, gugunufinisi dagoi ba: mu.
and your God YHWH has given them before you, and confused them [with] a great destruction until their being destroyed;
24 E da ilia hina bagade dunu dilia gasaga ilima hamoma: ne dilima imunu. Dilia da amo medole legemu amola ilia dio gogolei dagoi ba: mu.
and He has given their kings into your hand, and you have destroyed their name from under the heavens; no man stations himself in your presence until you have destroyed them.
25 Dilia da ilia loboga hamoi ‘gode’ liligi huluane laluga ulagisima. Silifa, gouli amola amo liligi ganodini diala mae hanaiwane ba: ma amola mae lama. Amane hamosea, amo da dilima bogosu liligi agoaiwane gala. Bai Hina Gode da loboga hamoi ogogosu ‘gode’ liligi ilima sia: ne gadosu hou bagadewane higasa.
You burn the carved images of their gods with fire; you do not desire the silver and gold on them, nor have you taken [it] for yourself, lest you are snared by it, for it [is] an abomination [to] your God YHWH;
26 Dilia amo loboga hamoi ‘gode’ liligi amo dilia diasu ganodini mae gaguli misa. Agoane hamosea, Gode Ea gagabusu da dilima aligima: ne madelamu. Hina Gode da amo liligima Ea gagabusu aligima: ne ilegei dagoi. Amaiba: le, dilia amola amo liligi higamu da defea.
and you do not bring in an abomination to your house, or you have been devoted like it—you utterly detest it and you utterly abhor it; for it [is] devoted.”
