1 Mousese da Isala: ili dunu huluane gilisili, ilima amane sia: i, “Isala: ili fi huluane. Nabima! Na da wali eso, sema huluane dilima imunu. Amo noga: le dawa: ma amola nabawane hamoma.
Then Moses called all Israiel, and saide vnto them, Heare, O Israel, the ordinances and the lawes which I propose to you this day, that yee may learne them, and take heede to obserue them.
2 Ninia Hina Gode da Sainai Goumia gousa: su hamoi.
The Lord our God made a couenant with vs in Horeb.
3 Amo gousa: su da ninia ada amoga fawane hame hamoi. Be ninia huluane wali eso esalebe, ninima amolawane hamoi.
The Lord made not this couenant with our fathers onely, but with vs, euen with vs all here aliue this day.
4 Amo goumia Hina Gode da amo esoha lalu amoga dilia odagia sia: i.
The Lord talked with you face to face in the Mount, out of the middes of the fire.
5 Amo esoha dilia da amo laluba: le beda: i amola goumiba: le heda: mu hamedei ba: i. Amaiba: le dilia da la: idi amola Hina Gode da la: idi amo na da dogoa, Hina Gode Ea sia: dilima alofele olelemusa: lelu. Hina Gode da amane sia: i,
(At that time I stoode betweene the Lord and you, to declare vnto you ye word of the Lord: for ye were afraid at the sight of the fire, and went not vp into the mount, and he said,
6 ‘Na da dilia Hina Gode. Dilia da Idibidi soge ganodini udigili hawa: hamosu dunu esalu. Be na da dili gaga: le, gadili oule asi.
I am the Lord thy God, which haue brought thee out of the lande of Egypt, from the house of bondage.
7 Dilia eno ‘gode’ agoane liligi amoma mae nodone sia: ne gadoma.
Thou shalt haue none other gods before my face.
8 Liligi amo da mu amo ganodini o osobo bagade amo ganodini o hano osobo bagade hagudu dialu amo defele, loboga hamoi liligi mae hedofale hamoma.
Thou shalt make thee no grauen image or any likenesse of that that is in heauen aboue, or which is in the earth beneath, or that is in the waters vnder the earth.
9 Loboga hamoi ‘gode’ liligi amoma mae beguduma amola ilima mae nodone sia: ne gadoma. Bai Na da dilia Hina Gode amola Na da nowa da Na defele hi dawa: sea, Na higasa. Nowa da Na higasea, amoma Na da se nabasu imunu amola egaga fi amo asili fi osodayale amola biyaduyale egaga fi ilima se nabasu imunu.
Thou shalt neither bowe thy selfe vnto them, nor serue them: for I the Lord thy God am a ielous God, visiting the iniquitie of the fathers vpon the children, euen vnto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me:
10 Be nowa da Nama asigi galea amola Na sema nabawane hamosea, Na da ema amola egaga fi osea: idafa ilima Na asigi hou olelemu.
And shewing mercie vnto thousandes of them that loue me, and keepe my commandements.
11 Na Dio amo mae giadofale sia: ma amola udigili mae sia: ma. Na, Hina Gode da nowa Na Dio udigili sia: sea, ilima se nabasu imunu.
Thou shalt not take the Name of the Lord thy God in vaine: for the Lord will not holde him giltlesse that taketh his Name in vaine.
12 Sa: bade eso da hadigi eso. Amaiba: le, Na, dilia Hina Gode, Na hamoma: ne sia: i defele, Sa: bade eso bagade dawa: ma amola ea hadigi noga: le ouligima.
Keepe the Sabbath day, to sanctifie it, as the Lord thy God hath commanded thee.
13 Eso gafeyale gala da dilia hawa: hamosu eso.
Sixe dayes thou shalt labour, and shalt doe all thy worke:
14 Be eso fesu da Nama dawa: ma: ne helefisu eso gala. Amo esoga dunu huluanedafa da hawa: hamosu hame hamoma: mu. Amo dilia amola dilia mano amola dilia udigili hawa: hamosu dunu amola dilia ohe fi amola ga fi dunu dilia soge ganodini esala, huluanedafa mae hawa: hamoma.
But the seuenth day is the Sabbath of the Lord thy God: thou shalt not doe any worke therein, thou, nor thy sonne, nor thy daughter, nor thy man seruant, nor thy mayd, nor thine oxe, nor thine asse, neither any of thy cattel, nor the stranger that is within thy gates: that thy man seruant and thy mayde may rest aswell as thou.
15 Dilia da musa: udigili hawa: hamosu dunu Idibidi soge ganodini esalu. Amola Na, dilia Hina Gode, Na gasa bagadega dili gaga: i, amo mae gogolema. Amaiba: le, Na da dilima Sa: bade eso noga: le ouligima: ne sia: sa.
For, remember that thou wast a seruant in the land of Egypt, and that the Lord thy God brought thee out thence by a mightie hand and a stretched out arme: therefore the Lord thy God commanded thee to obserue the Sabbath day.
16 Dilia ada amola ame elama nodone asigima. Bai dilia agoane hamosea, hahawane ba: mu amola soge amo Na da dilima iaha amo ganodini ode bagohame esalumu.
Honour thy father and thy mother, as the Lord thy God hath comanded thee, that thy dayes may be prolonged, and that it may go well with thee vpon the land, which the Lord thy God giueth thee.
17 Eno dunu mae medole legema.
Thou shalt not kill.
18 Inia uda mae adole lama.
Neither shalt thou commit adulterie.
19 Wamolasu hou mae hamoma.
Neither shalt thou steale.
20 Mae ogogoma.
Neither shalt thou beare false witnesse against thy neighbour.
21 Dilia dogo ganodini inia liligi hanaiwane mae ba: ma. Eno dunu ea diasu, ea uda, ea udigili hawa: hamosu dunu, ea dougi, ea bulamagau o liligi huluanedafa, amo hanane lamusa: mae dawa: ma.’
Neither shalt thou couet thy neighbours wife, neither shalt thou desire thy neighbours house, his fielde, nor his man seruant, nor his mayd, his oxe, nor his asse, nor ought that thy neighbour hath.
22 Hina Gode da amo hamoma: ne sia: i huluane dilia da goumia gilisila: loba, dilima i. E da lalu amola mobi bagade, amo ganodini sia: bagadega sia: i, amola amo hamoma: ne sia: i fawane - eno dilima hame olelei. Amalalu, E da amo hamoma: ne sia: i, gele gasui aduna amoga dedene, nama i dagoi.
These wordes the Lord spake vnto all your multitude in the mount out of the mids of the fire, the cloude and the darkenes, with a great voyce, and added no more thereto: and wrote them vpon two tables of stone, and deliuered them vnto me.
23 Goumi huluane da laluga nenanebe ba: loba amola sia: da gasi ganodini misi amo nabaloba, dilia asigilai amola fi ouligisu dunu da nama misini,
And when ye heard the voyce out of the middes of the darkenes, (for the mountaine did burne with fire) then ye came to me, all the chiefe of your tribes, and your Elders:
24 amane sia: i ‘Ninia Hina Gode Ea sia: lalu ganodini misi nabi dagoi. Amoga E da Ea gasa bagade amola Ea hadigi, ninima olelei dagoi. Ninia wali eso ba: i dagoi. Gode da osobo bagade dunuma sia: sea, amo dunu da mae bogole bu esalumu defele gala.
And ye sayd, Beholde, the Lord our God hath shewed vs his glory and his greatnes, and we haue heard his voyce out of the middes of the fire: we haue seene this day that God doeth talke with man, and he liueth.
25 Be ninia da bu bogosa: besa: le, abuliba: le amo sia: bu nabima: bela: ? Lalu bagade da nini gugunufinisimu. Ninia da ninia Hina Gode Ea sia: bu nabasea, dafawane bogomu.
Now therefore, why should we dye? for this great fire wil consume vs: if we heare ye voyce of the Lord our God any more, we shall dye.
26 Osobo bagade dunu afae da Gode Esalebe amo Ea sia: laluga misi, amo nabaloba, bu esalebe ba: bela: ? Hame mabu!
For what flesh was there euer, that heard the voyce of the liuing God speaking out of the middes of the fire as we haue, and liued?
27 Mousese! Di bu sinidigima! Ninia Hina Gode Ea sia: huluane nabima. Amasea, ninima bu misini, Ea sia: huluane ninima alofele olelema. Ninia da nabimu amola hamomu!’
Go thou neere and heare all that the Lord our God saith: and declare thou vnto vs all that the Lord our God saith vnto thee, and we will heare it, and doe it.
28 Hina Gode da dilia sia: nabaloba, nama amane sia: i, ‘Na da ilia sia: nabi dagoi. Amo da moloi.
Then the Lord heard the voyce of your wordes, when ye spake vnto me: and the Lord sayd vnto me, I haue heard the voyce of ye wordes of this people, which they haue spoken vnto thee: they haue well sayd, all that they haue spoken.
29 Ilia da eso huluane agoaiwane dawa: mu, Na da hanai. Ilia da eso huluane Nama nodone Na sia: nabawane hamomu da defea. Amasea, ilia da eso huluane ilia amola iligaga fi da hahawane esalumu.
Oh that there were such an heart in them to feare me, and to keepe all my commandements alway: that it might go well with them, and with their children for euer.
30 Di masa amola ilia da ilia abula diasu bu sinidigima: ne sia: ma.
Go, say vnto them, Returne you into your tentes.
31 Be di! Mousese! Di guiguda: esalu, Na da Na sema amola hamoma: ne sia: i huluane dima olelemu. Amasea, amo huluane di alofele ilima olelema. Bai ilia da amo huluane soge Na da ilima iaha amo ganodini fa: no bobogemu da defea.’
But stand thou here with me, and I wil tell thee all the commandements, and the ordinances, and the lawes, which thou shalt teach them: that they may doe them in the land which I giue them to possesse it.
32 Isala: ili dunu fi! Dawa: ma! Dilia Hina Gode Ea sia: dilima sia: i amo huluane nabawane hamoma. Sema afae amoma hame nabasu hou maedafa hamoma.
Take heede therefore, that ye doe as the Lord your God hath commanded you: turne not aside to the right hand nor to the left,
33 Huluane nabasu hou hamoma. Amasea, dilia da hahawane ba: mu amola soge dilia da waha gesowale fimu amo ganodini mae fisili esalalalumu.”
But walke in all the wayes which the Lord your God hath commanded you, that ye may liue, and that it may goe well with you: and that ye may prolong your dayes in the land which ye shall possesse.
