1 Dilia da na: iyado Isala: ili fi dunu amo ea bulamagau o sibi amo udigili lalebe ba: sea, udigili mae yolesima. Be ema bu oule masa.
Thou shalt not see thy brother’s ox or his sheep go astray, and hide thyself from them: thou shalt in any case bring them again unto thy brother.
2 Be ea eda da sedagadafa esalea, o ea eda di da hame dawa: ganiaba, amo sibi o bulamagau amo dia diasuga oule masa. Ea eda da amo hogola masea, ema ima.
And if thy brother [be] not nigh unto thee, or if thou know him not, then thou shalt bring it unto thine own house, and it shall be with thee until thy brother seek after it, and thou shalt restore it to him again.
3 Di da dougi udigili lalebe ba: sea, o abula fisi dagoi ba: sea, o eno liligi amo dia na: iyado Isala: ili fi da fisi amo ba: sea, amo hou defele hamoma.
In like manner shalt thou do with his ass; and so shalt thou do with his raiment; and with all lost thing of thy brother’s, which he hath lost, and thou hast found, shalt thou do likewise: thou mayest not hide thyself.
4 Dia na: iyado Isala: ili fi ea dougi o bulamagau da dafasea, udigili mae yolesima. Amo ohe da bu wa: legadoma: ne, fidima.
Thou shalt not see thy brother’s ass or his ox fall down by the way, and hide thyself from them: thou shalt surely help him to lift [them] up again.
5 Uda da dunu ea abula salimu da sema bagade. Amola dunu da uda ea abula salimu da sema bagade. Dilia Hina Gode da dunu amo da agoai hamosea, ilima ougi bagade.
The woman shall not wear that which pertaineth unto a man, neither shall a man put on a woman’s garment: for all that do so [are] abomination unto the LORD thy God.
6 Di da sio musugai ifa ganodini o osoboga dialebe amola amo da: iya eme da oso da: iya dialebe o ea mano amola gilisili esalebe ba: sea, amo sio eme mae lama.
If a bird’s nest chance to be before thee in the way in any tree, or on the ground, [whether they be] young ones, or eggs, and the dam sitting upon the young, or upon the eggs, thou shalt not take the dam with the young:
7 Sio mano lamu da defea be eme da hahawane masa: ne yolesima. Amasea, dilia da hahawane gaguiwane ode bagohame esalumu.
[But] thou shalt in any wise let the dam go, and take the young to thee; that it may be well with thee, and [that] thou mayest prolong [thy] days.
8 Di da diasu gaheabolo gagusia, amo diasu figisu bega: gagoi hamoma. Amasea, dunu da dia diasu gadodili dafane bogosea di da giaodofale hamoi amo ilia sia: mu da hamedei.
When thou buildest a new house, then thou shalt make a battlement for thy roof, that thou bring not blood upon thine house, if any man fall from thence.
9 Dilia waini sagai amo ganodini, ha: i manu eno mae bugima. Dilia agoane hamosea, waini amola eno ha: i manu amo ganodini bugi, huluane mae faili moma. Amo da sema bagade.
Thou shalt not sow thy vineyard with divers seeds: lest the fruit of thy seed which thou hast sown, and the fruit of thy vineyard, be defiled.
10 Bulamagau amola dougi osobo dogomusa: gilisili la: gimu da sema gala.
Thou shalt not plow with an ox and an ass together.
11 Abula amunasea, wulo amola “godeni” mae gilisili amunima.
Thou shalt not wear a garment of divers sorts, [as] of woollen and linen together.
12 Dilia abula hegomai biyaduyale gala amoga sosofe nodomema.
Thou shalt make thee fringes upon the four quarters of thy vesture, wherewith thou coverest [thyself].
13 Dunu da a: fini lasea amola fa: no e da amo a: fini higasea,
If any man take a wife, and go in unto her, and hate her,
14 e da amo a: finima ogogole fofada: musa: e da eno dunuma gilisili golale fa: no ema fi, amo ogogole sia: sea,
And give occasions of speech against her, and bring up an evil name upon her, and say, I took this woman, and when I came to her, I found her not a maid:
15 amai galea, a:fini ea ada amola ame da diaheda: su abula amo a: fini ea maga: mega madelagi amo lale amola fofada: musa: moilai ouligisu dunuma olelemu. Bai maga: me da amo a: fini da musa: eno dunuma hame golai olelesa.
Then shall the father of the damsel, and her mother, take and bring forth [the tokens of] the damsel’s virginity unto the elders of the city in the gate:
16 Amo a: fini ea eda da moilai ouligisu dunuma amane sia: mu, ‘Na da nadiwi amo dunu ea lama: ne ema i dagoi. Be wali e da nadiwi higasa.
And the damsel’s father shall say unto the elders, I gave my daughter unto this man to wife, and he hateth her;
17 E da ogogole na idiwi da dunu enoga lai amalu ema fi amane sia: sa. Be amo dawa: digima: ne olelesu ba: ma. Ea uda lasu diaheda: su abula da maga: me madelagi ba: ma!’
And, lo, he hath given occasions of speech [against her], saying, I found not thy daughter a maid; and yet these [are the tokens of] my daughter’s virginity. And they shall spread the cloth before the elders of the city.
18 Amasea, moilai ouligisu dunu da amo ogogosu dunu famu.
And the elders of that city shall take that man and chastise him;
19 Amola ilia da amo dunuma e da silifa muni fage100 dabe amo a: fini ea edama ima: ne sia: mu. Bai e da Isala: ili a: fini gogosiama: ne gugunufinisi dagoi. Amola amo a: fini e da hame fadegamu, be e da esalea, amo a: fini da ea uda esalumu.
And they shall amerce him in an hundred [shekels] of silver, and give [them] unto the father of the damsel, because he hath brought up an evil name upon a virgin of Israel: and she shall be his wife; he may not put her away all his days.
20 Be amo dunu ea fofada: su ilia da dafawane ba: sea, amola uda lasu abula da maga: me hame galea,
But if this thing be true, [and the tokens of] virginity be not found for the damsel:
21 amasea, ilia da amo a: fini ea eda diasu logo holeiga gaguli asili, moilai dunu huluane da amo a: fini igiga medole legemu. E da ea eda diasuga esalea, mae lawane udigili dunuma fiba: le Isala: ili soge ganodini wadela: idafa hamosu. Amo hou hamosea, dilia da wadela: i hou fadegamu.
Then they shall bring out the damsel to the door of her father’s house, and the men of her city shall stone her with stones that she die: because she hath wrought folly in Israel, to play the whore in her father’s house: so shalt thou put evil away from among you.
22 Dunu da inia uda adole lasea, ela gilisili golabe ba: sea, amo dunu amola uda amola medole legema. Dilia agoane wadela: idafa hou fadegamu.
If a man be found lying with a woman married to an husband, then they shall both of them die, [both] the man that lay with the woman, and the woman: so shalt thou put away evil from Israel.
23 Dilia moilai ganodini dunu da udigili a: fini amo da eno dunu lamusa: ilegei amo ela gilisili golabe ba: sea,
If a damsel [that is] a virgin be betrothed unto an husband, and a man find her in the city, and lie with her;
24 ela moilai gadili oule asili, medole legema. A: fini da moilai ganodini eno dunu gadenene esala be fidimusa: hame webeba: le, ea hanaiga wadela: le hamoiba: le, e da bogomu. Amola dunu da a: fini enoga lamusa: ilegei amo gugunufinisisia, e amola da bogomu. Dilia da agoane hamosea, wadela: i hou fadegamu.
Then ye shall bring them both out unto the gate of that city, and ye shall stone them with stones that they die; the damsel, because she cried not, [being] in the city; and the man, because he hath humbled his neighbour’s wife: so thou shalt put away evil from among you.
25 Be sogega o ifabiga dunu da a: fini eno dunu lamusa: sia: si amoga doaga: sea gugunufinisisia, amo dunu fawane medole legema.
But if a man find a betrothed damsel in the field, and the man force her, and lie with her: then the man only that lay with her shall die:
26 Be a: fini da wadela: le hame hamoiba: le, ema se mae ima. Amo hou da dunu da eno dunu doagala: sea medole legesu amo hou defele.
But unto the damsel thou shalt do nothing; [there is] in the damsel no sin [worthy] of death: for as when a man riseth against his neighbour, and slayeth him, even so [is] this matter:
27 Bai amo dunu da sogega amo a: fini gugunufinisi. E da dunu eno fidimusa: wei dagoi, be fidisu dunu hame ba: i.
For he found her in the field, [and] the betrothed damsel cried, and [there was] none to save her.
28 Be dilia dunu da a: fini (amo da eno dunuga lamusa: hame ilegei) amo gugunufinisi ba: sea,
If a man find a damsel [that is] a virgin, which is not betrothed, and lay hold on her, and lie with her, and they be found;
29 e da a: fini ea edama uda lasu bidi (silifa muni fage 50) imunu. Amola e da amo a: fini gasawane gugunufinisiba: le, e da amo a: fini dafawane lamu. E da esalea, amo uda hamedafa fadegamu.
Then the man that lay with her shall give unto the damsel’s father fifty [shekels] of silver, and she shall be his wife; because he hath humbled her, he may not put her away all his days.
30 Dunu da ea eda ea uda ema wadela: musa: doaga: mu da sema bagade. Bai e da ea eda gogosiama: ne gugunufinisisa: besa: le, amo da sema bagade.
A man shall not take his father’s wife, nor discover his father’s skirt.
