1 Be di, nagofe! Di da Yesu Gelesuma madelagiba: le, Ea hahawane dogolegele iasu hou lai dagoiba: le, gasawane hamoma!
Thou, therefore, my child, be empowering thyself in the favour that is in Christ Jesus,
2 Na da dunu bagohame nabima: ne sia: olelei liligi, amo di nabi. Dia amo olelesu lale, bu hohonosu hame dawa: dunu eno ilima olelema. Amasea, ilia da eno dunuma olelemusa: dawa: mu.
And, the things which thou hast heard from me among many witnesses, the same, entrust thou unto faithful men, such as shall be, competent, to teach, others also.
3 Di da Yesu Gelesu Ea dadi gagui ida: iwane fidisu dunu hamoiba: le, se nabimu mae hihima.
Take thy part in suffering hardship, as a brave soldier of Christ Jesus: —
4 Dadi gagui dunu da gegemusa: dawa: sea, e da bisilua amoma asigiba: le, ema hahawane ba: ma: ne hamosa. E da osobo bagade hou gilisimusa: hame dawa: sa.
No one that is serving as a soldier, entangleth himself with the matters of his livelihood, that he may please him that hath summoned him to serve as a soldier;
5 Hehenasu dunu da hehenasu sema huluane nabawane hamobeba: le fawane, baligili hehenamusa: dawa: sa.
If, moreover, any man, contend even in the games, he is not crowned, unless, lawfully, he contend;
6 Ha: i manu sagasu dunu da bagadewane hawa: hamobeba: le, ha: i manu gamisia, hi hidadea manu.
The toiling husbandman, ought, first, of the fruits, to partake:
7 Na sia: noga: le nabima. Bai Hina Gode da di amo noga: le dawa: ma: ne, dia asigi dawa: su fidimu.
Think, as to what I am speaking; for the Lord will give thee discernment in all things.
8 Yesu Gelesu bu dawa: ma. E bogole, Gode da E bu wa: legadolesi. Na da Gode Ea Sia: Ida: iwane Gala olelesa. Amola amo ganodini dedei defele, Yesu da Da: ibidi egaga fi Dunu.
Keep in mind Jesus Christ—raised from among the dead, of the seed of David, —according to my joyful message:
9 Na da Gode Ea Sia: Ida: iwane Gala olelebeba: le, se naba. Na da wadela: i dunu defele sia: inega la: gibi ba: sa. Be Gode Ea Sia: da sia: inega hame la: gi.
In which I am suffering hardship, even unto bonds, as an evil-doer; but, the word of God, is not bound.
10 Amaiba: le, Gode Ea ilegei fi, ilia da Yesu Gelesu Ea gaga: su hou amola eso huluane esalalalusu hadigi lama: ne, amo hou fidimusa: , na da se nabimu hame hihisa. (aiōnios g166)
For this cause, am I enduring, all things, for the sake of the chosen, in order that, they also, may obtain, the salvation, which is in Christ Jesus along with glory age-abiding. (aiōnios g166)
11 Sia: haguduga dedei da dafawane. “Ninia da E defele bogoi galea, ninia amola E da gilisili esalumu.
Faithful, the saying—for, If we have died together, we shall also live together,
12 Ninia mae yolesili Ea hou hamonanea, ninia amola E gilisili hinawane esalumu. Ninia E yolesisia, Ea da nini yolesimu.
If we endure, we shall also reign together; If we shall deny, he also, will deny us,
13 Ninia da dafasea, E da dafasu hame dawa: Bai E da Ea hou amoma Hi da ogogomu hame dawa:”
If we are faithless, he, faithful, abideth, —for, deny himself, he cannot!
14 Dia fi dunuma bu sia: ma! Dia Gode ba: ma: ne, ilima gasa bagade sisasu olelema! Ilima mae sia: ga gegema: ne sia: ma. Amo hou da dunu mae fidili, be nabasu dunu ilia hou gugunufinisisa.
Of these things, be putting [them] in remembrance, adjuring [them] before God not to be waging word-battles, —useful, for nothing, occasioning a subversion of them that hearken.
15 Gode Ea ida: iwane hawa: hamosu dunu da Gode Ea sia: mae giadofale olelebeba: le, e da hame gogosiasa. Amo hawa: hamomusa: gini, Gode da hahawane ba: ma: ne, dia noga: le hamoma.
Give diligence, thyself, approved, to present unto God, —a workman not to be put to shame, skillfully handling the word of truth.
16 Udigili gagaoui sia: da dunu ilia Godema afafama: ne sefasisa. Amaiba: le, dia amo udigili sia: dasu amoma mae gilisima.
But, the profane pratings, shun; for, unto more ungodliness, will they force themselves on;
17 Amo olelesu hou da fedege agoane aiya amo dunu ea hu bagade naha amo agoane. Dunu aduna ela dio da Haiminiase amola Failidase, ela da agoane olelesa.
And, their discourse, as a gangrene, will eat its way; —of whom are Hymenaeus and Philetus,
18 Ela da dafawane logo yolesili, ninia huluane wa: legadosu hou da hamoi dagoi ela ogogole olelebeba: le, ela da lalegagui dunu mogili ilia dafawaneyale dawa: su hou wadela: sa.
Men who, concerning the truth, have erred, affirming, a resurrection, already, to have taken place, and are overthrowing the faith, of some.
19 Be Gode da Hi diasu gaguma: ne, gasa bagade bai fa: iba: le, mugulumu da hamedei. Gode Sia da amane dedei diala, “Hina Gode da Ea fi dunu Hi dawa: !” Eno dedei, “Nowa dunu da Hina Godema madelagi dagoi hi sia: sea, e da wadela: i hou yolesima: mu.”
Howbeit, the firm foundation of God, standeth, having this seal—The Lord hath acknowledged them who are his, and, Let every one that nameth the name of the Lord stand aloof from unrighteousness.
20 Diasu bagade amo ganodini ofodo bagohame da ba: sa. Eno da silifa, eno da gouli, eno da ifa, eno da laga osoboga hamoi. Mogili da eso bagade mimogo Lolo Nasu amoga ha: i manu salimusa: hamoi. Mogili da eso huluane udigili ha: i manu salimusa: hamoi.
But, in a great house, there are not only gold and silver vessels, but, also wooden and earthen: and, some, indeed, for honour, while, some, are for dishonour:
21 Be dunu da wadela: i hou huluane yolesili, ea hou da dodofei dagoi ba: sea, e da fedege agoane ofodo ida: iwane ba: mu. E da ea Hina Ea hou fawane dawa: sea, ea Hina da ema hawa: hamosu noga: idafa amola bagadedafa olelemu.
If, therefore, anyone will, for pureness, sever himself from these, he shall be a vessel for honour, hallowed, meet for the Master’s use, for every good work, prepared.
22 Dia ayeligi dunu ilia wadela: i hu hanai hou amoma mae gilisima. Be dunu ilia dogo da ledo hame, amo dunu da Godema fidimusa: wele sia: sa, di amo dunuma gilisili, ida: iwane hou amola dafawaneyale dawa: su hou, asigidafa hou amola olofosu hou hogoi helema.
But, from the youthful covetings, flee! and pursue righteousness, faith, love, peace, along with them who call upon the Lord out of a pure heart.
23 Be gagaoui amola hame dawa: su sia: ga gegesu hou, amoma mae gilisima. Amo hou ea fage da gegesudafa.
But, from the foolish and undisciplined questionings, excuse thyself, knowing that they gender strifes;
24 Be Hina Gode Ea hawa: hamosu dunu sia: ga gegemu da defea hame. E da dunu huluanema asigimu da defea. E da noga: i hedolo hame fisisu olelesu dunu agoane ba: ma: mu.
And, a servant of the Lord, ought not to strive, but to be, gentle, towards all, apt in teaching, ready to endure malice, —
25 E da asaboiwane ema gegesu dunuma gagabole sia: mu da defea. Amabela: ? Gode da ilia dafawane hou dawa: ma: ne, ilima sinidigisu lalegagusu logo olelema: bela: ?
In meekness, bringing under discipline them that oppose themselves, lest at any time God should give them repentance unto a personal knowledge of truth,
26 Amai galea, ilia bu gagaoui hou yolesimu. Ilia da musa: Sa: ida: ne ea sia: nabawane hamobeba: le, ea sani amo ganodini ba: i. Be amo asigi sia: nabasea, ilia amo sani yolesili hobeamu.
And they should wake up to sobriety out of, the adversary’s, snare, —though they have been taken alive by him for, that one’s, will.
