1 Hina bagade Da: ibidi da hina bagade diasu amo ganodini esalu. Amola Hina Gode da ea ha lai dunu ilia e mae hasalima: ne gaga: i.
And it came to pass when the king sat in his house, and the Lord had given him an inheritance on every side [free] from all his enemies round about him;
2 Amalalu, hina bagade da balofede (Gode Sia: Alofesu Dunu) ea dio amo Na: ida: ne ema amane sia: i, “Na da diasu noga: i amo dolo ifaga hamoi, amo ganodini hahawane esala. Be Gode Ea Gousa: su Sema Gagili da udigili abula diasu ganodini diala!”
that the king said to Nathan the prophet, Behold now, I live in a house of cedar, and the ark of the Lord dwells in the midst of a tent.
3 Na: idane da bu adole i, “Dia hanai defele hamoma! Bai Hina Gode da ani esala.”
And Nathan said to the king, Go and do all that [is] in your heart, for the Lord [is] with you.
4 Be amo gasia, Hina Gode da Na: ida: nema amane sia: i,
And it came to pass in that night, that the word of the Lord came to Nathan, saying,
5 “Dia asili, na hawa: hamosu dunu Da: ibidi ema amane sia: ma, `Di da Debolo amo ganodini Na da esalumu, amo gaguma: ne, Na da di hame ilegei.
Go, and say to my servant David, Thus says the Lord, You shall not build me a house for me to dwell in.
6 Na da Isala: ili fi dunu Idibidi soge esalu amo gaga: lalu amogainini wali, Na da Debolo diasu ganodini hame esalu. Be na da abula diasu ganodini fawane esalu.
For I have not lived in a house from the day that I brought up the children of Israel out of Egypt to this day, but I have been walking in a lodge and in a tent,
7 Na da Isala: ili dunu eso bagohame nini ahoanoba, Na da ouligisu dunu amo Na da ilegei ema, `dilia da abuliba: le nama dolo ifa amoga hamoi Debolo diasu hame gaguila: ?’ amane hamedafa adole ba: su.
wherever I went with all Israel. Have I ever spoken to any of the tribes of Israel, which I commanded to tend my people Israel, saying, Why have you not built me a house of Cedar?
8 Amaiba: le, Na hawa: hamosu dunu Da: ibidi ema amane sia: ma, `Na, Hina Gode Bagadedafa, da di sogega sibi ouligilalu amo lale, Na fi dunu Isala: ili amo ouligima: ne hina bagade hamoi.
And now thus shall you say to my servant David, Thus says the Lord Almighty, I took you from the sheep-cote, that you should be a prince over my people, over Israel.

And I was with you wherever you went, and I destroyed all your enemies before you, and I made you renowned according to the renown of the great ones on the earth.
And I will appoint a place for my people Israel, and will plant them, and they shall dwell by themselves, and shall be no more distressed; and the son of iniquity shall no more afflict them, as he [has done] from the beginning,
11 Na da Na fi Isala: ili dunu esaloma: ne sogebi ilegele, ilia hahawane fima: ne hamoi dagoi. Ilia da amogawi enoga mae banenesili esalumu. Ilia da amo soge ganodini golili sa: ili amogainini wali eso, nimi bagade ha lai dunu da ilima doagala: lebe ba: su. Be amo hou da bu hame ba: mu. Na da dia ha lai dima mae hasalasima: ne, Na da di gaga: ma: ne dafawane ilegesa. Amola Na da dima digaga fi imunu.
from the days when I appointed judges over my people Israel: and I will give you rest from all your enemies, and the Lord will tell you that you shall build a house to him.
12 Di bogosea amola dia aowalali dunu ilima gilisili uli dogoi ba: sea, Na da diagofe afae hina bagade hamoma: mu. Amola Na da ea hina bagade hou amoma gasa imunu.
And it shall come to pass when your days shall have been fulfilled, and you shall sleep with your fathers, that I will raise up your seed after you, even your own issue, and I will establish his kingdom.
13 E da Na Debolo diasu gagumu, amola ea ouligisu da eso huluane fifi ahoanoma: ne, amo Na da ilegesa.
He shall build for me a house to my name, and I will set up his throne even for ever.
14 Na da ea ada esalumu, amola e da nagofe esalumu. E da wadela: le hamosea, Na da ada egefe ema dawa: ma: ne se iabe defele, ema se imunu.
I will be to him a father, and he shall be to me a son. And when he happens to transgress, then will I chasten him with the rod of men, and with the stripes of the sons of men.
15 Na da di hina bagade hamoma: ne, Solo fadegai. Be Na da Soloma Na fuligala: su hou fadegai, amo defele diagofe ema Na fuligala: su hou hamedafa fadegamu.
But my mercy I will not take from him, as I took it from those whom I removed from my presence.
16 Digaga fi da mae dagole, osobo bagadega esalebe ba: mu. Amola digaga fi ilia hina bagade hou da eso huluane fifi ahoanumu. Amola dia hina bagade hou da hamedafa dagomu.”
And his house shall be made sure, and his kingdom for ever before me, and his throne shall be set up for ever.
17 Na: ida: ne da liligi huluane amo Gode da ema olelei, amo huluane Da: ibidima alofele olelei.
According to all these words, and according to all this vision, so Nathan spoke to David.
18 Amalalu, hina bagade Da: ibidi da Hina Gode Ea Abula Diasu amo ganodini golili sa: ili, amane sia: ne gadosa esalu. “Ouligisudafa Hina Gode! Di da nama hou noga: idafa hamoi dagoi. Be na amola na sosogo fi da Dia fidisu lamu defele hame agoai ba: sa.
And king David came in, and sat before the Lord, and said, Who am I, O Lord, my Lord, and what [is] my house, that you have loved me hitherto?
19 Be wali Ouligisudafa Hina Gode! Di da baligili hamosa. Di da nagaga fa: no misunu dunu fi amo noga: le fidima: ne ilegesa. Amola Ouligisudafa Hina Gode! Di da amo na ba: ma: ne hamosa.
Whereas I was very little before you, O Lord, my Lord, yet you spoke concerning the house of your servant for a long time to [to come]. And [is] this the law of man, O Lord, my Lord?
20 Na da Dima adi sia: ma: bela: ? Na da Dia hawa: hamosu dunu! Amola Dia na dawa: !
And what shall David yet say to you? and now you know your servant, O Lord, my Lord.
21 Di da amo hou hamomu hanaiba: le amola ilegeiba: le hamoi. Di da nama olelema: ne amo hou hamoi.
And you have wrought for your servant's sake, and according to your heart you have wrought all this greatness, to make it known to your servant,
22 Ouligisudafa Hina Gode! Di da bagadedafa! Dunu eno Di agoai da hamedafa! Di fawane da Godedafa! Ninia eso huluane amo dawa: i galu.
that he may magnify you, O my Lord; for there is no one like you, and there is no God, but you among all of whom we have heard with our ears.
23 Eno fi Isala: ili fi agoai da osobo bagadega hame gala. Isala: ili fi dunu da musa: Idibidi sogega udigili hawa: hamosu dunu esalu. Be Di da ili Dia fidafa dunu hamoma: ne, ili gaga: i. Di da ili fidima: ne, baligili gasa bagade hamobeba: le, osobo bagade fifi asi gala huluane da Dia hou nodone dawa: Dia fi dunu amo Di da Dia fidafa hamoma: ne, Idibidi sogega fisili masa: ne asunasi, ilia da gusuba: i ahoabeba: le, Di da fifi asi gala amola ilia ogogosu ‘gode’ amo sefasilalu.
And what other nation in the earth [is] as your people Israel? whereas God was his guide, to redeem for himself a people to make you a name, to do mightily and nobly, so that you should cast out nations an [their] tabernacles from the presence of your people, whom you did redeem for yourself out of Egypt?
24 Dia da Isala: ili fi amo Dia Fidafa eso huluane esaloma: ne hamoi dagoi. Hina Gode! Di da ilia Godedafa hamoi dagoi.
And you has prepared for yourself your people Israel to be a people for ever, and you, Lord, are become their God.
25 Amola wali, Hina Godedafa, Dia nama amola nagaga fi ninima hamomusa: ilegele sia: i, amo huluane hamoma.
And now, O my Lord, the Almighty Lord God of Israel, confirm the word for ever which you have spoken concerning your servant and his house: and now as you have said,
26 Dunu huluane da Dia gasa bagade hou dawa: mu. Amola ilia da amane sia: mu, `Ouligisudafa Hina Gode da Isala: ili fi dunu ilia Gode esala’. Amola Dia da na hina bagade ouligisu hou eso huluane dialoma: ne hamomu.
Let your name be magnified for ever.
27 Hina Gode Bagadedafa! Isala: ili fi ilia Gode! Na da Dima agoane sia: ne gadobeba: le hame beda: sa. Bai na da Dia hawa: hamosu dunu, amola Di da amo hou huluane nama olelei. Amola nagaga fi dunu da hina bagade hamomu, Di sia: i dagoi.
Almighty Lord God of Israel, you have uncovered the ear of your servant, saying, I will build you a house: therefore your servant has found [in] his heart to pray this prayer to you.
28 Wali, Ouligisudafa Hina Gode! Di da Godedafa! Di da nama noga: le ilegei amola Dia ilegesu huluane, Di da dafawane hamosa.
And now, O Lord my Lord, you are God; and your words will be true, and you have spoken these good things concerning your servant.
29 Na da Dima edegesa. Di da mae fisili nagaga fi ilima hahawane ba: ma: ne, ilima hahawane dogolegele hamoma. Di, Ouligisudafa Hina Gode! Di da amo hamoma: ne ilegei dagoi. Amola Di da eso huluane nagaga fi ilima hahawane dogolegele hamomu.”
And now begin and bless the house of your servant, that it may continue for ever before you; for you, O Lord, my Lord, have spoken, and the house of your servant shall be blessed with your blessing so as to continue for ever.
