1 Woufo misini, fa: no odemaha, amogalu hina bagade ilia da gegena ahoasu, Da: ibidi da Youa: be amola ea dadi gagui ouligisu dunu amola Isala: ili dadi gagui wa: i, amo gadili asunasi. Ilia da A: mone dunu hasali amola La: ba moilai bai bagadega doagala: lalu. Be Da: ibidi hi da Yelusaleme amoga ouesalu.
Forsothe it was doon, whanne the yeer turnede ayen in that tyme wherynne kyngis ben wont to go forth to batels, Dauid sente Joab, and with hym hise seruauntis, and al Israel; and thei distrieden the sones of Amon, and bisegiden Rabath; forsothe Dauid dwellide in Jerusalem.
2 Eso afaega, daeya agoane, Da: ibidi da golai dialu wa: legadole, hina bagade diasu gadodili fa: i da: iya heda: i. E da amo da: iya ahoanoba, e da uda amo hano ulalebe ba: i. Amo uda da isisima: goi ba: i.

Therfor the kyng sente, and enqueride, what womman it was; and it was teld to hym, that sche was Bersabee, the douytir of Heliam, and was the wijf of Vrye Ethei.

Therfor bi messangeris sent Dauid took hir; and whanne sche entride to hym, he slepte with hir, and anoon sche was halewid fro hir vnclenesse.

And sche turnede ayen in to hir hows, with child conseyued; and sche sente, and telde to Dauid, and seide, Y haue conseyued.
6 Amalalu, Da: ibidi da Youa: bema amane sia: sia: si, “Hidaide dunu Iulaia amo nama misa: ne asunasima!” Amaiba: le, Youa: be da Iulaia amo Da: ibidima masa: ne adola asi.
Forsothe Dauid sente to Joab, and seide, Sende thou Vrye Ethei to me; and Joab sente Vrye to Dauid.
7 Iulaia da doaga: loba, Da: ibidi da ema Youa: be amola Isala: ili dadi gagui ilia da habodane esalabeyale, amola gegesu da habodane hamonanebeyale adole ba: i.
And Vrie cam to Dauid; and Dauid axide, hou riytfuli Joab dide and the puple, and hou the batel was mynystrid.
8 Amalalu, Da: ibidi da Iulaia ema amane sia: i, “Di diasua fonobahadi helefimusa: masa!” Iulaia da fisili asili, Da: ibidi da udigili iasu amo ea diasuga iasi.
And Dauid seide to Vrye, Go in to thin hows, and waische thi feet. Vrye yede out fro the hows of the kyng, and the kyngis mete suede hym.
9 Be Iulaia da hi diasua hame asi. E da hina bagade diasu logo holeiga, hina bagade ea sosodo aligisu dunu ili gilisili golai.
Sotheli Vrye slepte bifor the yate of the kyngis hows with othere seruauntis of his lord, and yede not doun to his hows.
10 Da: ibidi da Iulaia e hi diasu hame asi amo nababeba: le, e da ema amane adole ba: i, “Di da eso bagohame ga esalu buhagi. Abuliba: le di da di diasua hame asibala: ?”
And it was teld to Dauid of men, seiynge, Vrye `yede not to his hows. And Dauid seide to Vrye, Whether thou camest not fro the weye? whi yedist thou not doun in to thin hows?
11 Iulaia da bu adole i, “Isala: ili dunu amola Yuda dunu da ga gegesa esala. Amola Gousa: su Sema Gagili da ili diala. Na ouligisudafa dunu Youa: be amola ea afoha ouligisu dunu ilia da udigili sogega golasa. Na da habodane na diasu ha: i amola hano naha amola na uda ani gilisili golama: ne masa: ne sia: ma: bela: ? Sema legei amo huluane amoga na da ilegesa! Na da agoaiwane hamomu hamedei ba: sa!”
And Vrie seide to Dauid, The arke of God, Israel and Juda dwellen in tentis, and my lord Joab, and the seruauntis of my lord dwellen on the face of erthe, and schal Y go in to myn hows, to ete and drynke, and slepe with my wijf? Bi thin helthe, and bi the helthe of thi soule, Y schal not do this thing.

Therfor Dauid seide to Vrye, Dwelle thou here also to dai, and to morewe Y schal delyuere thee. Vrie dwellide in Jerusalem in that day and the tothir.
13 Da: ibidi da ela gilisili ha: i manusa: hiougi. E da ema adini bagade iabeba: le, Iulaia da feloai. Be amo gasia amola, Iulaia da hi diasua mae asili, hina bagade sosodo aligisu dunu ilia sesei amo ganodini hina: abula sosone diasu amo da: iya golai.
And Dauid clepide hym, that he schulde ete and drynke bifor hym, and Dauid made drunkun Vrye; and he yede out in the euentid, and slepte in his bed with the seruauntes of his lord; and yede not doun in to his hows.
14 Golale, hahabe, Da: ibidi da Youa: bema meloa dedei amo, Iulaia ema iasi.
Therfor the morewtid was maad, and Dauid wroot epistle to Joab, and sente bi the hond of Vrye,
15 E amane dedene i, “Di Iulaia amo gegesu bisili dadaleia amogusu asunasima. Amasea, ha lai dunu ilia e fane legema: ne, adodigilisima.”
and wroot in the pistle, Sette ye Vrye euene ayens the batel, where the batel is strongeste, `that is, where the aduersaries ben stronge, and forsake ye hym, that he be smitun and perische.
16 Amaiba: le, Youa: be da La: ba moilai bai bagadega doagala: lalu, e da Iulaia e sogebi amo ganodini ha lai dunu da gasa bagade gegebe hi dawa: amoga asunasi.
Therfor whanne Joab bisegide the citee, he settide Vrie in the place where he wiste that strongeste men weren.
17 Ha lai dunu da moilaiga gadili asili, Youa: be ea dadi gagui wa: i doagala: i. Da: ibidi ea dadi gagui dunu ouligisu dunu mogili da fane legei dagoi ba: i. Amola Iulaia da fane legei dagoi ba: i.
And men yeden out of the citee, and fouyten ayens Joab, and thei killiden of the puple of seruauntis of Dauid, and also Vrye Ethei was deed.
18 Amalalu, Youa: be da gegesu ea hou olelema: ne, Da: ibidima sia: sia: si.
Therfor Joab sente, and telde alle the wordis of the batel;
19 E da sia: adola ahoasu dunuma amane sia: i, “Di da hina bagade ema gegesu ahoabe hou olelelalu,
and he comaundyde to the messanger, and seide, Whanne thou hast fillid alle wordis of the batel to the kyng,
20 amabela: , e da ougili dima amane adole ba: ma: bela: , `Dilia da abuliba: le moilai gadenene gegemusa: asi. Ilia da dilima dobea amodili gala: mu, amo dilia da hame dawa: bela: ?
if thou seest, that he is wrooth, and seith, Whi neiyiden ye to the wal to fiyte? whether ye wisten not, that many dartis ben sent `fro aboue fro the wal?
21 Abimelege (Gidione egefe) amo ea fane legei hou bu dawa: ma! Dibese moilaiga uda afae dobea da: iya esalu da widi goudasu gele galaguduli e fane legei. Amaiba: le, dilia da abuliba: le dobea gadenene asibala: ?’ Hina bagade da dima agoane adole ba: sea, ema amane adoma, `Dia dadi gagui ouligisu dunu Iulaia, amola da fane legei dagoi ba: i.’”
who smoot Abymelech, sone of Gerobaal? whether not a womman sente on hym a gobet of a mylnestoon fro the wal, and killide hym in Thebes? whi neiyiden ye bisidis the wal? thou schalt seie, Also thi seruaunt, Vrye Ethei, diede.
22 Amaiba: le, sia: adola ahoasu dunu da Da: ibidima asili, Youa: be ea sia: i defele ema olelei.
Therfor the messanger yede, and telde to Dauid alle thingis whiche Joab hadde comaundid to hym.
23 E amane sia: i, “Ha lai dunu ilia gasa da ninia gasa baligi. Ilia da moilai fisili, ninima gegemusa: misi. Be ninia da ili fula ilila: moilai logo holei gelaba gano sese sa: i.
And the messanger seide to Dauid, `Men hadden the maistri ayens us, and thei yeden out to vs in to the feeld; sotheli bi `fersnesse maad we pursueden hem `til to the yate of the citee.
24 Amalalu, ilia da moilai dobea amodili nini dadiga gagala: i. Amola, hina noga: i! Dia dadi gagui ouligisu mogili da fane legei ba: i. Amola dia ouligisu Iulaia amola da fane legei dagoi ba: i.”
And archeris senten dartis to thi seruauntis fro the wal aboue, and summe of the `kyngis seruauntis ben deed; forsothe also thi seruaunt, Vrye Ethei, is deed.
25 Da: ibidi da sia: adola ahoasu dunuma amane sia: i, “Di Youa: be ea dogo denesima: ma. E mae da: i dioma: ne sia: ma. Bai nowa da gegesu ganodini fane legei dagoi ba: mu, amo ninia dawa: mu da hamedei. E da moilai amo bu gasa bagade doagala: le, hasalima: ne ema sia: ma.”
And Dauid seide to the messanger, Thou schalt seie these thingis to Joab, This thing breke not thee; for the bifallyng of batel is dyuerse, and swerd wastith now this man, now that man; coumforte thi fiyteris ayens the citee, that thou distrye it, and excite thou hem.
26 Bedesiba da egoa fane legei dagoi sia: amo nababeba: le, heawini disa esalu.
Forsothe the wijf of Vrye herde, that Vrye hir hosebond was deed, and sche biweilide hym.
27 Heawini dinana eso da dagoloba, Da: ibidi da Ba: desiba amo hina bagade diasuga misa: ne sia: si. E da Ba: desiba lai, amola ela dunu mano lalelegei. Be Hina Gode da Da: ibidi ea hamoi amo higale ba: i.
And whanne the morenyng was passid, Dauid sente, and brouyte hir in to his hows; and sche was maad wijf to hym, and sche childide a sone to hym. And this word which Dauid hadde do displeside bifor the Lord.
