2 Hina 20
1 Amogalu, hina bagade Hesegaia da olo madelale, gadenenewane bogoi. Balofede dunu Aisaia (A: imose egefe) da e ba: la asili, ema amane sia: i, “Hina Gode da amane sia: sa, ‘Dia liligi huluane noga: le momagema. Bai di da hame uhimu. Di bogomuba: le momagema!’”
In those days Hezekiah has been sick to death, and Isaiah son of Amoz the prophet comes to him and says to him, “Thus said YHWH: Give a charge to your house, for you are dying, and do not live.”
2 Hesegaia da delegili, dobea feiya ba: le ganone, amane sia: ne gadoi,
And he turns around his face to the wall, and prays to YHWH, saying,
3 “Hina Gode! Dia na bu dawa: ma! Na da mae fisili, Dia hawa: molole hamonanu. Na da Dia hanai amo noga: le hamomusa: dawa: i galu.” Amalalu, e da muni ha: giwane dinanu.
“Ah, now, O YHWH, please remember how I have habitually walked before You in truth and with a perfect heart, and I have done that which [is] good in Your eyes”; and Hezekiah weeps [with] a great weeping.
4 Aisaia da hina bagade yolesi. Be e da ahoanoba, hina bagade diasu dogoa gagoi mae baligili, Hina Gode da ema sinidigima: ne sia: i.
And it comes to pass, [when] Isaiah has not [yet] gone out to the middle court, that the word of YHWH has been to him, saying,
5 Hina Gode da Aisaiama amane sia: i, “Na fi ouligisu dunu Hesegaia, ema buhagili, Na sia: ema amane sia: sima, ‘Na, Hina Gode, dia siba aowa Da: ibidi ea Gode, Na da dia sia: ne gadosu nabi amola dia dibi si hano ba: i dagoi. Na da di uhinisimu, amola eso udiana da asili, di da Debolo diasuga masunu.
“Return, and you have said to Hezekiah, leader of My people, Thus said YHWH, God of your father David: I have heard your prayer, I have seen your tear, behold, I give healing to you. On the third day you go up to the house of YHWH;
6 Na da di ode 15eno esaloma: ne, logo doasimu. Na da Asilia hina bagade amo di amola Yelusaleme fi amo mae hasalasima: ne hamomu. Na da Yelusaleme gaga: mu. Bai Na da osobo bagade dunu da Nama nodomu Na hanai, amola Na da musa: Na hawa: hamosu dunu Da: ibidima dafawane ilegele sia: i.”
and I have added fifteen years to your days, and I deliver you and this city out of the hand of the king of Asshur, and have covered over this city for My own sake, and for the sake of My servant David.”
7 Amalalu, Aisaia da hina bagade ea ouligisu dunu ilima, ilia da figi fage daga: i, amo ea dului da: iya legema: ne sia: i. Amalalu, e da uhi dagoi ba: mu, e sia: i.
And Isaiah says, “Take a cake of figs”; and they take and lay [it] on the boil, and he revives.
8 Hina bagade Hesegaia da amane sia: i, “Na da Hina Gode da na uhini, eso udiana asili na da Debolo diasuga masunu, amo na da dafawaneyale dawa: ma: ne, dawa: digima: ne olelesu nama olelema.”
And Hezekiah says to Isaiah, “What [is] the sign that YHWH gives healing to me, that I have gone up to the house of YHWH on the third day?”
9 Aisaia da bu adole i, “Hina Gode da di Ea ilegele sia: i amo dafawaneyale dawa: ma: ne, dima dawa: digima: ne olelesu imunu. Di da adi hanabela: ? Baba da fa: gu da: iya eso ba: su amoga fa: gu bululufai nabuane bobaligila gusu masa: bela: ? o fa: gu bubulufai nabuane amo bobaligila guma: masa: bela: ?”
And Isaiah says, “This [is] the sign to you from YHWH, that YHWH does the thing that He has spoken—[will] the shadow have gone on ten degrees, or does it turn back ten degrees?”
10 Hesegaia da bu adole i, “Baba da fa: gu bubulufai nabuane amo bobaligila gusu masunu da asaboi fawane. Di da amo bu bobaligila guma: masa: ne hamoma!”
And Hezekiah says, “It has been light for the shadow to incline ten degrees; no, but let the shadow turn backward ten degrees.”
11 Aisaia da Hina Godema sia: ne gadobeba: le, Hina Gode da hina bagade A: ihase ea hahamoi fa: gu ea baba amo da bubulufai nabuane gala, amo bobaligila bu guma: buhagima: ne hamoi dagoi.
And Isaiah the prophet calls to YHWH, and He brings back the shadow by the degrees that it had gone down in the degrees of Ahaz—backward ten degrees.
12 Amogalu agoane, Ba: bilone hina bagade Milouda: ge Ba: lada: ne (Ba: lada: ne egefe) da hina bagade Hesegaia ea oloi nababeba: le, ema meloa dedene amola hahawane iasu liligi ema iasi.
At that time Berodach-Baladan son of Baladan, king of Babylon, has sent letters and a present to Hezekiah, for he heard that Hezekiah had been sick;
13 Hesegaia da sia: adola ahoasu dunu ili hahawane yosia: le, ea gagui liligi huluane ilima olelei. and Hezekiah listens to them, and shows them all the house of his treasury, the silver, and the gold, and the spices, and the good ointment, and all the house of his vessels, and all that has been found in his treasuries; there has not been a thing that Hezekiah has not showed them in his house and in all his dominion.
14 Amalalu, balofede dunu Aisaia da hina bagade Hesegaiama asili, amane adole ba: i, “Amo dunu da habidili misibala: ? Amola ilia da dima adi sia: bela: ?” Hesegaia da bu adole i, “Ilia da soge sedagaga misi. Ilia da Ba: bilone sogega ninima misi.”
And Isaiah the prophet comes to King Hezekiah and says to him, “What did these men say? And from where do they come to you?” And Hezekiah says, “They have come from a far-off land—from Babylon.”
15 Aisaia da amane adole ba: i, “Ilia da hina bagade diasu ganodini, adi liligi ba: bela: ?” Hesegaia da ema bu adole i, “Ilia da liligi huluanedafa ba: i dagoi. Liligi huluanedafa, liligi ligisisu sesei ganodini dialebe, amo na da ilima olelei.”
And he says, “What did they see in your house?” And Hezekiah says, “They saw all that [is] in my house; there has not been a thing that I have not showed them among my treasures.”
16 Amalalu, Aisaia da hina bagadema amane sia: i, “Hina Gode Bagadedafa da amane sia: sa,
And Isaiah says to Hezekiah, “Hear a word of YHWH:
17 ‘Eso da doaga: mu, amoga liligi huluanedafa dia hina bagade diasu ganodini diala, amo liligi huluane dia siba aowa ilia ligisisi, amo huluanedafa Ba: bilone sogega gaguli asi dagoi ba: mu. Liligi guiguda: dialebe afae hame ba: mu.
Behold, days are coming, and all that [is] in your house, and [all] that your father has treasured up until this day, has been carried to Babylon; there is not a thing left, said YHWH;
18 Dia fidafa amoga fifi misi dunu mogili da mugululi gaguli asi ba: mu. Ili da gulusu danane, udigili hawa: hamosu dunu Ba: bilone hina bagade ea diasu ganodini hamonanebe ba: mu.”
and of your sons who go out from you, whom you beget, they take away, and they have been eunuchs in the palace of the king of Babylon.”
19 Hina bagade Hesegaia da amo sia: nababeba: le, e da esaleawane, olofosu amola gaga: su fawane ba: mu, amo dawa: i. Amaiba: le, e da amane adole i, “Defea! Hina Gode Ea sia: adosi di nama i, amo da noga: i!”
And Hezekiah says to Isaiah, “The word of YHWH that you have spoken [is] good”; and he says, “Why not, if there is peace and truth in my days?”
20 Hina bagade Hesegaia ea hamonanu eno huluane, ea nimi gesa: i hawa: hamosu, amola e da hano dialoma: ne hihiga: i amola osoboha logo amola moilai ganodini hano yogo sa: ima: ne gagui, amo huluane da “Yuda hina bagade Ilia Hamonanu Meloa” amo ganodini dedene legei.
And the rest of the matters of Hezekiah, and all his might, and how he made the pool, and the conduit, and brings in the waters to the city, are they not written on the scroll of the Chronicles of the Kings of Judah?
21 Hesegaia da bogoi, amola egefe Ma: na: se da e bagia Yuda hina bagade hamoi.
And Hezekiah lies with his fathers, and his son Manasseh reigns in his stead.
