1 Yuda hina bagade Hesegaia da ilia sia: ne iasu nababeba: le, e da ea abula gadelale, eboboi abula salawane, Hina Gode Ea Debolo diasuga asi.
And it cometh to pass, at king Hezekiah's hearing, that he rendeth his garments, and covereth himself with sackcloth, and entereth the house of Jehovah,
2 E da Ilaiagime (hina bagade diasu ouligisu dunu), Siebena (hina bagade diasuga esalebe fi ilia sia: dedene legesu dunu) amola asigilai gobele salasu dunu amo huluane balofede dunu Aisaia (A: imose egefe) ema asunasi. Ilia amola da eboboi abula salawene asi.
and sendeth Eliakim, who [is] over the house, and Shebna the scribe, and the elders of the priests, covering themselves with sackcloth, unto Isaiah the prophet, son of Amoz,

and they say unto him, 'Thus said Hezekiah — A day of distress, and rebuke, and despising [is] this day; for come have sons unto the birth, and power there is not to bring forth.

'It may be Jehovah thy God doth hear all the words of the chief of the butlers with which the king of Asshur his lord hath sent him to reproach the living God, and hath decided concerning the words that Jehovah thy God hath heard, and thou hast lifted up prayer for the remnant that is found.'
5 Aisaia da hina bagade Hesegaia ea sia: si, nababeba: le,
And the servants of king Hezekiah come in unto Isaiah,
6 e da ema bu dabe adole ima: ne amane sia: si, “Hina Gode da dima amane sia: sa, ‘Asilia dunu da dili beda: ma: ne, Na da dili gaga: mu da hamedei sia: sa. Be ilia gasa fili sia: beba: le, mae beda: ma!
and Isaiah saith to them, 'Thus do ye say unto your lord: Thus said Jehovah, Be not afraid because of the words that thou hast heard, with which the servants of the king of Asshur have reviled Me.
7 Na, Hina Gode da hamobeba: le, Asilia hina bagade da beda: ma: ne udigili sia: nababeba: le, hi sogega buhagimu. Amola Na da hamobeba: le, e da amogawi medole legei ba: mu.’”
Lo, I am giving in him a spirit, and he hath heard a report, and hath turned back to his land, and I have caused him to fall by the sword in his land.'
8 Asilia dadi gagui ouligisu dunu afae, da Asilia hina bagade amo La: igisi moilai bai bagade fisili, eno gadenene moilai Libina amoma doagala: musa: asi, amo nababeba: le, amogawi ema fada: i sia: sia: musa: asi.
And the chief of the butlers turneth back and findeth the king of Asshur fighting against Libnah, for he hath heard that he hath journeyed from Lachish.
9 Amola Asilia dunu da sia: amane sia: si nabi, Idioubia hina bagade da Idibidi dadi gagui dunu wa: i amo bisili, Asilia hina bagade ema doagala: musa: mana, amane sia: be nabi. Asilia hina bagade da amo sia: nababeba: le, e da Yuda hina bagade Hesegaiama meloa amane dedene iasi,
And he heareth concerning Tirhakah king of Cush, saying, 'Lo, he hath come out to fight with thee;' and he turneth and sendeth messengers unto Hezekiah, saying,
10 “Dilia ‘gode’ amo da dilia dafawaneyale dawa: sa, dilima ogogole, na da dili hame hasalimu sia: sa. Be amo ogogosu sia: mae nabima!
'Thus do ye speak unto Hezekiah king of Judah, saying, Let not thy God lift thee up in whom thou art trusting, saying, Jerusalem is not given into the hand of the king of Asshur.
11 Dilia da sia: nabi, amo Asilia hina bagade da soge fi gugunufinisimusa: sia: sea, e da dafawane gugunufinisimu. Dilia da hobeale gaga: su ba: mu, mae dawa: ma!
Lo, thou hast heard that which the kings of Asshur have done to all the lands — to devote them; and thou art delivered!
12 Na aowalali ilia da Gousa: ne, Halane, amola Lisefe moilai huluane gugunufinisi. Amola Bede Idini fi dunu Dila: sa moilai ganodini esala, huluane medole legei. Ilia ‘gode’ da amo huluane gaga: mu hamedei ba: i.
did the gods of the nations deliver them whom my fathers destroyed — Gozan, and Haran, and Rezeph, and the sons of Eden, who [are] in Thelassar?
13 Moilai Ha: ima: de amola Aba: de, Sefafa: ime, Hina, amola Ifai, ilia hina bagade ili da habila: ?”
Where [is] the king of Hamath, and the king of Arpad, and the king of the city of Sepharvaim, Hena, and Ivvah?'
14 Yuda hina bagade Hesegaia da amo meloa dedei sia: adola ahoasu dunuma lale, idi. Amalalu, e da Debolo Diasuga asili, meloa amo Hina Gode Ea midadi ligisili,
And Hezekiah taketh the letters out of the hand of the messengers, and readeth them, and goeth up to the house of Jehovah, and Hezekiah spreadeth it before Jehovah.

And Hezekiah prayeth before Jehovah, and saith, 'O Jehovah, God of Israel, inhabiting the cherubs, Thou [art] God Himself — Thyself alone — to all the kingdoms of the earth: Thou hast made the heavens and the earth.
16 Wali Hina Gode! Hou da ninima doaga: i ba: ma! Sena: gelibi da Di, Esalebe Godedafa, amo Dima gadele sia: be nabima!
Incline, O Jehovah, Thine ear, and hear; open, O Jehovah, Thine eyes, and see; and hear Thou the words of Sennacherib with which he hath sent him to reproach the living God.
17 Hina Gode! Ninia huluane dawa: ! Asilia hina bagade ilia da fifi asi gala bagohame gugunufinisi dagoi, amola ilia soge wadela: lesi.
'Truly, O Jehovah, kings of Asshur have laid waste the nations, and their land,
18 Ilia da amo dunu fi ilia ‘gode’ huluane laluga ulagi. (Be amo ‘gode’ ilia da ‘gode’dafa hame - ilia da osobo bagade dunu ilia loboga ifa amola gelega hamoi liligi fawane).
and have put their gods into fire, for they [are] no gods, but work of the hands of man, wood and stone, and destroy them.
19 Amaiba: le, wali ninia Hina Gode! Osobo bagade fifi asi gala huluanedafa, ilia da Di, Hina Gode da Godedafa, amo ilia dawa: ma: ne, Asilia dunu da nini mae hasalima: ne, nini gaga: ma!”
And now, O Jehovah our God, save us, we pray Thee, out of his hand, and know do all kingdoms of the earth that Thou [art] Jehovah God — Thyself alone.'
20 Amalalu, Aisaia da hina bagade Hesegaiama, Hina Gode da ema ea sia: ne gadosu amane adole ima: ne amo sia: amane sia: si,
And Isaiah son of Amoz sendeth unto Hezekiah, saying, 'Thus said Jehovah, God of Israel, That which thou hast prayed unto Me concerning Sennacherib king of Asshur I have heard:
21 “Hina Gode da amane sia: i dagoi, ‘Sena: galibi di! Yelusaleme moilai bai bagade da diba: le oufesega: sa.
this [is] the word that Jehovah spake concerning him: 'Trampled on thee — laughed at thee, Hath the virgin daughter of Zion Behind thee shaken the head — Hath the daughter of Jerusalem?
22 Di da Na, Isala: ili ilia Hadigidafa Hina Gode, Nama mae nodone, gadele sia: beba: le, di da nowa dunula: ?
Whom hast thou reproached and reviled? And against whom lifted up a voice? Yea, thou dost lift up on high thine eyes — Against the Holy One of Israel!
23 Di da dia adola ahoasu dunu Nama hidale, di amola dia ‘sa: liode’ fila heda: i dunu da baligili heda: i Lebanone goumi huluane hasali dagoi, amo Nama hidale sia: musa: asunasi. Di da baligili heda: i dolo ifa amola ‘saibala: se’ ifa noga: idafa abusa: le, iwiladafa amoga doaga: i, amo Nama hidale sia: i.
By the hand of thy messengers Thou hast reproached the Lord, and sayest: In the multitude of my chariots I have come up to a high place of mountains — The sides of Lebanon, And I cut down the height of its cedars, The choice of its firs, And I enter the lodging of its extremity, The forest of its Carmel.
24 Di da eno hidale, amo di da hano si dogone, ga fi dunu ilia soge ganodini hano dili mai, amola dia dadi gagui dunu da osa: giba: le, Naile Hano da hafoga: i dagoi ba: i, amo huluane di hidale sia: i.
I have digged, and drunk strange waters, And I dry up with the sole of my steps All floods of a bulwark.
25 Amo hou Na da hemonega ilegei, amo di da hame nabibala: ? Amola wali Na ilegei hou Na da hamoi dagoi. Di da gagili sali moilai bagohame gugunufinisiba: le, ilia da isu ligisisu agoai ba: sa. Be amo hamoma: ne, Nisu fawane da dima gasa defele i.
Hast thou not heard from afar, it I made, From days of old that I formed it? Now I have brought it in, And it becometh a desolation, Ruinous heaps [are] fenced cities,
26 Dunu amogawi esalu da gasa hamedafa ba: i. Ilia da bagadewane beda: i amola gasa hameba: le, sidi agoai dialebe ba: i. Ilia da gisi, logo bega: o diasu da: iya gadodili lelebe, amo da gia: i bagade fo, gusudili mabe amoga fabe, amo defele ba: i.
And their inhabitants [are] feeble-handed, They were broken down, and are dried up, They have been the herb of the field, And the greenness of the tender grass, Grass of the roofs, And blasted corn — before it hath risen up!
27 Be dia hou huluanedafa Na dawa: ! Dia hamobe amola dia habidili ahoabe, amo huluane Na dawa: Na da dia Nama nimi bagade ougi hou Na dawa:
And thy sitting down, and thy going out, And thy coming in, I have known, And thine anger towards Me;
28 Na da dia ougi bagade hou amola gasa fi bagade hou amo sia: ne iasu, Na da lai dagoi. Amaiba: le, Na da wali dia mi ma: goga mi gala: mu, amola dia lafi ganodini gula misimu. Amola amoga, Na da di logo di misi amoga di buhagima: ne sesemu.”
Because of thine anger towards Me, And thy noise — it came up into Mine ears, I have put My hook in thy nose, And My bridle in thy lips, And have caused thee to turn back, In the way in which thou camest.
29 Amalalu, Aisaia da hina bagade Hesegaiama amane sia: i, “Na da dima hobea misunu hou da dafawane doaga: mu, amo dawa: digima: ne olelesu dima imunu. Wali ode amola aya ode, dilia da udigili sogega heda: i gala: ine fawane manu. Be ode aduna baligili eno amoga, dilia da gala: ine bugili, gamimu amola waini efe sagai bugili, waini fage manu.
And this to thee [is] the sign, Food of the year [is] the spontaneous growth, And in the second year the self-produced, And in the third year sow ye, and reap, And plant vineyards, and eat their fruits.
30 Yuda soge ganodini, dunu amo da hame bogoi esalebe ba: sea, ilia da bugi amo da difi osobo gududafa sa: i, amola fage noga: le legei, amo defele ba: mu.
And it hath continued — The escaped of the house of Judah That hath been left — to take root beneath, And hath made fruit upward.
31 Yelusaleme moilai bai bagadega amola Saione Goumia dunu hame bogoi, esalebe ba: mu. Bai Hina Gode da amo hou doaga: ma: ne, dafawane ilegei dagoi.
For from Jerusalem goeth out a remnant, And an escape from mount Zion; The zeal of Jehovah [of Hosts] doth this.
32 Amola Hina Gode da Asilia hina bagade ema misunu hou olelema: ne, amane sia: sa, ‘E da Yelusaleme hamedafa golili sa: imu. E da amoga dadi afae hamedafa gala: mu. Dadi gagui dunu da da: igene gaga: su liligi gaguiwane da, Yelusaleme gadenena hame misunu. Ilia da amoma doagala: musa: , osobo gasa: le lelegela hame heda: mu.
Therefore, thus said Jehovah, Concerning the king of Asshur: He doth not come in unto this city, Nor doth he shoot there an arrow, Nor doth he come before it with shield. Nor doth he pour out against it a mount.
33 Asilia hina bagade da moilai ganodini mae golili sa: ili, hi misi logoga buhagimu. Bai Na, Hina Gode da amo sia: i dagoi.
In the way that he cometh in — In it he turneth back, And unto this city he doth not come in, The affirmation of Jehovah —

And I have covered over this city, To save it, for Mine own sake, And for the sake of David My servant.'
35 Amo gasia, Hina Gode Ea a: igele dunu da Asilia ha wa: i fisisu amoga asili, Asilia dadi gagui dunu 185,000 agoane medole legei. Golale, hahabe, ilia huluane da osoboga bogogia: i dialebe ba: i.
And it cometh to pass, in that night, that a messenger of Jehovah goeth out, and smiteth in the camp of Asshur a hundred eighty and five thousand, and they rise early in the morning, and lo, all of them [are] dead corpses.

And Sennacherib king of Asshur journeyeth, and goeth, and turneth back, and dwelleth in Nineveh;

and it cometh to pass, he is bowing himself in the house of Nisroch his god, and Adramelech and Sharezar [his sons] have smitten him with the sword, and they have escaped to the land of Ararat, and Esar-Haddon his son reigneth in his stead.
