1 Hina bagade A: ihasaia ea ame A: dalaia da egefe da medole legei nababeba: le, e da hina bagade ea sosogo fi dunu huluane medole legema: ne sia: si.
Now, when, Athaliah, mother of Ahaziah, saw that her son was dead, she arose and destroyed all the seed royal.
2 A: ihasaia egefe Youa: se e fawane da hame medole legei ba: i. Ilia da e amola eno sosogo fi dunu fane legemusa: misini, ea awa Yihosiba (hina bagade Yihoula: me ea idiwi amola A: ihasaia ea dalusi) e da Youa: se gei. E da Youa: se amola ea ouligisu uda amo dia ahoasu sesei Debolo ganodini amoga oule asili, amola A: dalaia ea mae ba: ma: ne, ela wamolegei. Amalalu, ilia da Youa: se hame medole legei.
But Jehosheba daughter of King Joram, sister of Ahaziah, took Joash son of Ahaziah, and stole him from among the king’s sons that were being slain—him and his nurse, into the bedchamber, —so she hid him from the face of Athaliah, that he was not slain.

And he was with her, in the house of Yahweh, hiding himself, six years, —while, Athaliah, was reigning over the land.

Amogawi, e da sia: beba: le, ilia da ea hamomu liligi amo fidima: ne dafawane ilegele sia: i. E da hina bagade A: ihasaia egefe Youa: se wamo esalu, amo ilima olei.
But, in the seventh year, Jehoiada sent and took the captains over hundreds, of the Carian body-guard, and of the runners, and brought them unto him, in the house of Yahweh, —and, when he had solemnised a Covenant with them, and put them on oath, in the house of Yahweh, then shewed he them the king’s son;
and commanded them, saying—This, is the thing which ye must do, —A third part of you, will be coming in on the sabbath, and keeping the watch of the house of the king;

and, a third, in the side-gate; and, a third, in the gate behind the runners, —so shall ye keep the watch of the house, by turns.
7 Be sosodo aligisu dunu gilisisu aduna amo da Sa: bade esoga helefisia, ilia da hina bagade Youa: se gemusa: , Debolo diasu sosodo aligima: ne sia: ma!
And, two parts of you, are all that are going out on the sabbath, —so shall ye keep the watch of the house of Yahweh, as touching the king.
8 Dilia da gegesu gobihei duga: le gadolewane, hina bagade Youa: se noga: le gema: mu! E da habidili ahoasea, dili e sigi masa. Nowa da dilima gadenena masea, medole legema!”
Thus shall ye encompass the king round about, every man with his weapons in his hand, and, he that cometh within the ranks, let him be slain, —so be ye with the king, when he cometh out and when he goeth in.
9 Ouligisu dunu ilia da Yihoida ea hamoma: ne sia: i defele hamoi. Ilia da ilia dunu, gilisisu amo da Sa: bade esoga helefi amola gilisisu amo da Sa: bade esoga hawa: hamonanu, amo huluane Yihoidama oule asi.
And the captains of hundreds did according to all that Jehoiada the priest commanded, and they took every man his men who were coming in on the sabbath, with them who were going out on the sabbath, —and came unto Jehoiada the priest.
10 Yihoida da musa: hina bagade Da: ibidi ea goge agei amola ludasa: besa: le gaga: su liligi huluane Debolo diasu ganodini modaligi, amo lale, ouligisu dunu ilima i.
And the priest gave unto the captains of hundreds the spears and the shields which belonged to King David, —which were in the house of Yahweh.
11 Amola e da dunu ilia gegesu gobihei duga: le gadole, amo hina bagade Youa: se gemusa: , Debolo diasu midadi sisiga: le dadalema: ne asunasi.
And the runners stood, every man with his weapons in his hand, from the right corner of the house, as far as the left corner of the house, by the altar and the house, —near the king, round about.
12 Amalalu, Yihoida da Youa: se amo gadili oule asili, hina bagade habuga ea dialuma da: iya figisili, meloa amo ganodini da hina bagade ilia sema dedei ema i. Amalalu, e da Youa: se ea dialuma da: iya susuligi sogagala: le, e Yuda hina bagade hamoma: ne ilegei. Dunu huluane da lobo fane, amane wele sia: i, “Hina bagade da sedagili esalumu da defea!”
Then brought he forth the king’s son, and set upon him the crown, and the testimony, and they made him king, and anointed him, —and clapped their hands, and said—May the king live!
13 Hina bagade uda A: dalaia da sosodo aligisu dunu amola gilisi dialu dunu ilia nodosa gugulubi amo nababeba: le, e da hehenaia Debolo diasuga doaga: loba, dunu bagohame amogawi gilisi dialebe ba: i.
And, when Athaliah heard the noise of the runners, the people, then came she in unto the people, in the house of Yahweh,
14 Amogawi, e da hina bagade gaheabolo, Yuda fi ilia hou defele, golasu ifa bagade Debolo Diasu logo holeiga dialu, amo dafulili lelebe ba: i. Ouligisu dunu huluane amola dalabede dusu dunu ilia da e sisiga: le lelefulu. Amola dunu huluane da hahawane wele sia: nanebe amola dalabede fulabolalebe ba: i. A: dalaia da bagadewane da: i dioiba: le, ea abula gadelale, ha: giwane amane wele sia: i, “Hohonosu! Hohonosu da doaga: i dagoi.”
and looked, and lo! the king, standing by the pillar, as the custom was, and the captains and the trumpeters, by the king, and, all the people of the land, rejoicing, and blowing with trumpets, —so Athaliah rent her garments, and cried out—Conspiracy! conspiracy!
15 Yihoida da A: dalaia amo Debolo diasu sogebi ganodini medole legei ba: mu higa: i galu. Amaiba: le e da dadi gagui wa: i ouligisu dunu ilima amane hamoma: ne sia: i, “A: dalaia amo sosodo aligisu dunu ilia dadalei dogoa amoga gadili oule masa. Nowa da e gemusa: hamosea, amo medole legema!”
And Jehoiada the priest commanded the captains of hundreds—officers of the force, and said unto them—Take her forth into the inside of the ranks, and, he that cometh in after her, [ye are] to slay with the sword. For the priest said, Let her not be slain, in the house of Yahweh.
16 Ilia da A: dalaia gagulaligili, hina bagade diasuga gaguli oule asili, Hosi Logo Ga: sua amogai, e medole legei dagoi.
So they made way for her, and she entered the road by which the horses approached the house of the king, and was slain there.
17 Gobele salasu dunu Yihoida da amane hamoma: ne sia: beba: le, hina bagade Youa: se amola Yuda fi dunu da Hina Godema ilia da Ea fidafa fawane esaloma: ne, dafawane ilegele sia: su hamoi. Amola Yihoida da sia: beba: le, Yuda fi dunu da, ilia hina bagade noga: le fuli gala: ma: ne, dafawane ilegele sia: su.
And Jehoiada solemnised a covenant between Yahweh, and the king, and the people, that they should become a people unto Yahweh, —also between the king and the people.
18 Amalalu, dunu huluane da ogogosu ‘gode’ Ba: ile ea debolo diasuga asili, amo mugululi, wadela: lesi. Ilia da oloda amola loboga hamoi ‘gode’ agoaila huluane gugunufinisi. Amola ilia da oloda amo ilia midadi, Ba: ile gobele salasu dunu Ma: da: ne, medole legei dagoi. Yihoida da sosodo aligisu dunu Debolo Diasu ouligima: ne asunasi.
And all the people of the land entered the house of Baal, and brake it down, his altars and his images, brake they in pieces, utterly, and, Mattan the priest of Baal, they slew before the altars, —and the priest appointed officers over the house of Yahweh.
19 Amalalu, e amola dadi gagui wa: i ouligisu dunu amola hina bagade da: i sosodo aligisu dunu, ilia da hina bagade amo Debolo diasu fisili, hina bagade diasuga oule asi. Dunu huluane da ili bobogei. Youa: se da Sosodo Aligisu Logo Ga: su amoga hina bagade diasu golili sa: ili, hina bagade fisu amoga fila heda: i.
And he took the captains of hundreds and the Carian bodyguard, and the runners, and all the people of the land, and they brought down the king out of the house of Yahweh, and they came, by way of the gate of the runners, into the house of the king, —and he took his seat on the throne of the kings;
20 Dunu huluane da hahawane bagade ba: i. Moilai fi da ouiya: i dialebe ba: i. Bai A: dalaia da hina bagade diasu ganodini fane legei ba: i.
and all the people of the land rejoiced, and, the city, had rest, —when they had put, Athaliah, to death with the sword, in the house of the king.
21 Youa: se da lalelegele, ode fesuale esalu, e da muni Yuda hina bagade hamoi.
Seven years old, was Jehoash, when he began to reign.
