2 Golidia 7

1 Na fi dunu! Amo hahawane dogolegele iasu Gode da ninima imunu ilegele sia: i dagoi. Amaiba: le, wadela: i ledo amo da ninia da: i hodo amola ninia a: silibu wadela: sa, amo dodofele, ninia hadigiwane esaloma: ne, Godema beda: iwane hahamonanumu da defea.

Having therefore these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all defilement of flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.

2 Dilia ninima dogolegema! Ninia dunu afae amoma wadela: i hamedafa hamoi. Dunu afae enoma ea hou wadela: ma: ne, ninia hame banenesi.

Open your hearts to us: we wronged no man, we corrupted no man, we took advantage of no man.

3 Na da amane sia: beba: le, dilima mae se ima: ne fofada: sa. Be na musa: sia: i defele na da bu sia: sa. Ninia dilima bagadewane asigiba: le, ninia amola dilia da eso huluane ninia esalea, o bogosea, gilisili fi afadafa hamoi dagoi esala.

I say it not to condemn [you]: for I have said before, that ye are in our hearts to die together and live together.

4 Dilia hou na dafawaneyale dawa: sa. Dilia houba: le na da nodosa. Na da se bagade naba, be na da mae beda: iwane esala. Na da baligiliwane hahawane gala.

Great is my boldness of speech toward you, great is my glorying on your behalf: I am filled with comfort, I overflow with joy in all our affliction.

5 Ninia da Ma: sidounia sogega doaga: loba, olofosu hame ba: i. Se nabasu, sia: ga gegesu, amola ninia dogo ganodini beda: su hou, amo fawane ba: i.

For even when we were come into Macedonia, our flesh had no relief, but [we were] afflicted on every side; without [were] fightings, within [were] fears.

6 Be Gode da da: i dioi dunuma Fidisudafa esala. Daidase da ninima doaga: beba: le, Gode da ninia dogo denesi.

Nevertheless he that comforteth the lowly, [even] God, comforted us by the coming of Titus;

7 E da misi, be amoba: le fawane hame ninia dogo denesi. Be dilia da e fidi, amo e da ninima sia: ne iabeba: le, ninia hahawane ba: i. Dilia da na ba: musa: bagade hanai, amola dilia musa: houba: le gogosia: i, amola dilia na hou gaga: musa: dawa: i, amo e da ninima olelebeba: le, na da wali baligiliwane hahawane gala.

and not by his coming only, but also by the comfort wherewith he was comforted in you, while he told us your longing, your mourning, your zeal for me; so that I rejoiced yet more.

8 Na da dilima meloa dedene iabeba: le, dilia da: i dioi nabi. Na sia: beba: le dilia da: i dioi nababeba: le, na da gogosiamusa: dawa: i galu be hame gogosia: i.

For though I made you sorry with my epistle, I do not regret it, though I did regret; for I see that that epistle made you sorry, though but for a season.

9 Be wali na da hahawane gala. Dilia da: i dioi nababeba: le, na da hahawane hame galu. Be dilia da: i dioi nababeba: le, dilia hou da sinidigi dagoi ba: i. Amaiba: le na hahawane gala. Amo da: i dioi ganodini Gode da hawa: hamobeba: le, ninia da dilia hou hame wadela: lesi.

Now I rejoice, not that ye were made sorry, but that ye were made sorry unto repentance: for ye were made sorry after a godly sort, that ye might suffer loss by us in nothing.

10 Gode da da: i dioi hou amo ganodini hawa: hamosea, E da dunu ilia hou sinidigili gaga: su hou ba: ma: ne hamosa. Amaiba: le, ilia eso huluane mae bogole Fifi Ahoanusu labeba: le, bu hame da: i diosa. Be osobo bagade dunu ilia da: i dioi hou da bogosu fawane olelesa.

For godly sorrow worketh repentance unto salvation, [a repentance] which bringeth no regret: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.

11 Be dilia ba: ma! Gode da dilia da: i dioi amo ganodini agoane hamoi. Dilia da hou ida: iwane hamomusa: bu hanai. Dilia da wadela: i hame hamoi amo ha: giwane olelei. Dilia da beda: iwane fofogadigi. Dilia asigidafa hou olelei. Dilia wadela: i hamosu dunuma se dabe iasu imunusa: dawa: i. Dilia hou da moloidafa, amo dilia da noga: le olelei.

For behold, this selfsame thing, that ye were made sorry after a godly sort, what earnest care it wrought in you, yea, what clearing of yourselves, yea, what indignation, yea, what fear, yea, what longing, yea, what zeal, yea, what avenging! In everything ye approved yourselves to be pure in the matter.

So although I wrote unto you, [I wrote] not for his cause that did the wrong, nor for his cause that suffered the wrong, but that your earnest care for us might be made manifest unto you in the sight of God.

13 Amaiba: le, ninia dogo da denesi dagoi ba: i. Be amo fawane hame. Dilia da Daidase noga: le fidibiba: le, e da hahawane ba: i. Ninia da amo nababeba: le, hahawane bagade ba: i.

Therefore we have been comforted: and in our comfort we joyed the more exceedingly for the joy of Titus, because his spirit hath been refreshed by you all.

14 Na musa: ema amane sia: i, “Golidia dunu ilia hou da noga: iwane!” Amola dilia da noga: le hamobeba: le, amo sia: da ogogole hame olelei dagoi. Ninia da eso huluane dilima moloiwane sia: sa. Amola ninia sia: Daidase ema sia: i da hame ogogosa, ninia wali ba: sa.

For if in anything I have gloried to him on your behalf, I was not put to shame; but as we spake all things to you in truth, so our glorying also, which I made before Titus, was found to be truth.

15 Amaiba: le, ea asigi hou dilima da asigilala. Dilia da ea sia: nabawane hamobeba: le, amola dilia da ema beda: iwane yosia: i, amo dawa: beba: le e da dilima asigisa.

And his inward affection is more abundantly toward you, whilst he remembereth the obedience of you all, how with fear and trembling ye received him.

16 Be na da dilia hou da asigilai dagoi dafawaneyale dawa: beba: le, hahawane bagade gala.

I rejoice that in everything I am of good courage concerning you.
