2 Hou Olelesu 17
1 A: isa da bogoloba, egefe Yihosiafa: de da e bagia hina bagade hamoi. Isala: ili da ema gegesa: besa: le, e da Yuda gagili sali moilai bai bagade, Yuda soge, amola moilai bai bagade Ifala: ime soge ganodini (amo A: isa da susugui), amo gaga: musa: , dadi gagui dunu amo sosodo aligima: ne ilegei.
And Jehoshaphat his son reigned in his stead, —and strengthened himself against Israel;
and put forces in all the fortified cities of Judah, —and set garrisons in the land of Judah, and in the cities of Ephraim, which Asa his father had captured.
3 Hina Gode da Yihosiafa: de hahawane dogolegele fidi. Bai e da ea ada ea degabo hamosu defele, ogogosu ‘gode’ Ba: ilema nodone hame sia: ne gadoi.
And it came to pass, that, Yahweh, was with Jehoshaphat, —because he walked in the first ways of David his father, and sought not unto the Baalim;

for, unto the God of his father, he sought, and, in his commandments, he walked, —and not according to the doing of Israel.
5 Hina Gode da fidibiba: le, e da gasawane Yuda fi ouligilalu. Ea fi dunu huluane da ema nodone iasu gaguli misi. E da bagade gaguiwane ba: i, amola dunu huluane da ema nodoi.
Therefore did Yahweh establish the kingdom in his hand, and all Judah gave a present unto Jehoshaphat, —and he came to have riches and honour, in abundance.
6 E da hanaiwane amola hahawane Hina Gode Ea hawa: hamonanu. E da ogogosu ‘gode’ma nodone sia: ne gadosu sogebi huluane, amola ogogosu uda ‘gode’ Asila agoai loboga hamoi liligi huluane Yuda soge ganodini dialu, amo gugunufinisi.
And his heart was encouraged, in the ways of Yahweh, —and he, yet further, took away the high places and the Sacred Stems, out of Judah.
7 E da Yuda fi ode udiana ouligilalu, eagene ouligisu dunu amo Yuda moilai bai bagadega sia: olelema: ne asunasi. Ilia dio da Beneha: iele, Oubadaia, Segalaia, Nida: niele amola Maga: ia.
And, in the third year of his reign, he sent to his rulers, even to Ben-hail and to Obadiah and to Zechariah, and to Nethanel, and to Micaiah, —that they were to teach throughout the cities of Judah;
8 Lifai fi dunu sesegeane amola gobele salasu dunu aduna da amo olelesu dunu sigi asi. Lifai fi dunu ilia dio da Siema: ia, Nedanaia, Sebadaia, A:sahele, Similamode, Yihonada: ne, A:dounaidia, Doubaidia amola Doba: dounaidia. Gobele salasu dunu da Ilisiama amola Yihoula: me.
and, with them, Levites, Shemaiah and Nethaniah and Zebadiah and Asahel and Shemiramoth and Jehonathan, and Adonijah and Tobijah and Tob-adonijah, Levites, —and, with them, Elishama and Jehoram, priests;
9 Ilia da Hina Gode Ea Sema dedei buga gaguli, Yuda moilai dunu fi huluane ilima olelela asi.
and they taught throughout Judah, and, with them, was the book of the law of Yahweh, —so they went round throughout all the cities of Judah, and taught the people.
10 Hina Gode da hamobeba: le, Yuda soge sisiga: le fifi asi huluane da beda: iba: le, Yihosiafa: dema gegemu hamedei ba: i.
And it came to pass, that, the dread of Yahweh, was upon all the kingdoms of the countries, that were round about Judah, —and they warred not against Jehoshaphat.
11 Filisidini fi dunu mogili da Yihosiafa: dema silifa bagade amola eno hahawane iasu ema gaguli misi. Amola A: la: be fi dunu mogili da ema sibi 7,700 agoane amola goudi 7,700 agoane gaguli misi.
And, from among the Philistines, were they bringing in unto Jehoshaphat a present, and silver as tribute, —even the Arabians, were bringing in unto him flocks, seven thousand seven hundred rams, and seven thousand seven hundred he-goats.
12 Amaiba: le, Yihosiafa: de ea gasa da bu bagade heda: i. E da Yuda soge huluane amo ganodini gagili sali moilai amola moilai bai bagade gagui.
And so it came to pass that, Jehoshaphat, went on waxing surpassingly great, —and he built, throughout Judah, fortresses and cities for store;
13 Amogawi, e da liligi amola ha: i manu osea: idafa lidili legei. E da Yelusaleme ouligima: ne, medenegi ouligisu dunu fi afae afae amoga lale, ilegei.
and, much business, had he, throughout the cities of Judah, —but, the men of war, the heroes of valour, were in Jerusalem.
14 A: dana da Yuda sosogo fi dadi gagui dunu ouligisu. Ea dadi gagui dunu ili idi da 300,000 agoane.
And, these, are the numbers of them, by their ancestral house, —To Judah, pertained rulers of thousands, Adnah the chief, and, with him, mighty men of valour, three hundred thousand;
15 E bisibagia da Yihouha: ina: ne. E da dadi gagui dunu 280,000 agoane ouligi.
and, under his direction, was Jehohanan the chief, —and, with him, two hundred and eighty thousand;
16 Yihouha: ina: ne bagia da A: masaia (Sigalai egefe). E da dadi gagui dunu 200,000 agoane ouligi. (A: masaia da hahawane Hina Gode Ea hawa: hamomusa: ilegele sia: i).
and, under his direction, Amasiah son of Zichri, who willingly offered himself unto Yahweh, —and, with him, two hundred thousand heroes of valour.
17 Iliada, dadi gagui dunu noga: idafa, e Bediamini sosogo fi huluane ilia dadi gagui dunu ouligisu. Ea dadi gagui dunu ili idi da 200,000 agoane. Ilia huluane da da: igene ga: su amola oulali gaguli ahoasu.
And, out of Benjamin, a hero of valour, Eliada, —and, with him, armed with bow and buckler, two hundred thousand;
18 E bisi bagia da Yihosaba: de. E da dadi gagui dunu 180,000 agoane ouligi. Ilia huluane da gegesu liligi defele gaguli ahoasu.
and, under his direction, Jehozabad, —and, with him, a hundred and eighty thousand, equipped for war.
19 Amo dadi gagui dunu da Yelusaleme ganodini, hina bagade ea hawa: hamonanu. Amolawane, e da eno dadi gagui dunu, amo eno Yuda soge gagili sali moilai bai bagadega hawa: hamoma: ne, ilegei dagoi.
These, were they who were waiting upon the king, —besides those whom the king placed in the fortified cities, throughout all Judah.
