1 Yuda hina bagade A: isa ea ouligibi ode36 amoga, Isala: ili hina bagade Ba: iasia da Yuda soge doagala: le, golili sa: ili, e da Yuda gadili ahoasu logo ga: ma: ne, muni La: ima moilai gagili sali.
In the six and thirtieth year of the reign of Asa Baasha king of Israel came up against Judah, and built Ramah, to the intent that he might let none go out or come in to Asa king of Judah.

Then Asa brought out silver and gold out of the treasures of the house of Yhwh and of the king’s house, and sent to Ben–hadad king of Syria, that dwelt at Damascus, saying,
3 “Ani da anianini, ania adalali defele, dogolegemu da defea. Amo silifa amola gouli da digili hahawane dogolegele iasu. Wali di amola Isala: ili hina bagade Ba: iasia alialisu gousa: su hamoi amo damuma. Amasea, e da ea dadi gagui na soge ganodini asunasili esala, amo fadegale fasimu.”
There is a league between me and thee, as there was between my father and thy father: behold, I have sent thee silver and gold; go, break thy league with Baasha king of Israel, that he may depart from me.

And Ben–hadad hearkened unto king Asa, and sent the captains of his armies against the cities of Israel; and they smote Ijon, and Dan, and Abel–maim, and all the store cities of Naphtali.
5 Hina bagade Ba: iasia da amo hamoi sia: nababeba: le, La: ima moilai gagili salalu, amo yolesili, fisili asi.
And it came to pass, when Baasha heard it, that he left off building of Ramah, and let his work cease.
6 Amalalu, hina bagade A: isa da Yuda soge ganodini amo dunu huluanedafa da gele amoga Ba: iasia da La: ima gagili sali, amo gaguli masa: ne sia: si. Amo liligi lale, A:isa da Bediamini soge moilai bai bagade Giba amola Misiba moilai bai bagade, amo gagili sali.
Then Asa the king took all Judah; and they carried away the stones of Ramah, and the timber thereof, wherewith Baasha was building; and he built therewith Geba and Mizpah.

And at that time Hanani the seer came to Asa king of Judah, and said unto him, Because thou hast relied on the king of Syria, and not relied on Yhwh thy God, therefore is the army of the king of Syria escaped out of thine hand.
8 Idioubia dunu amola Libia dunu ilia dadi gagui wa: i amolawane da bagadedafa ba: i, amola ilia sa: liode amola hosiga fila heda: i dunu da bagohame ba: i. Be di da Hina Gode Ea fidisu hou dafawaneyale dawa: beba: le, E da dima hasalasu hou i dagoi.
Were not the Ethiopians and the Lubims a huge army, with very many chariots and horsemen? yet, because thou didst rely on Yhwh, he delivered them into thine hand.
9 Hina Gode da osobo bagade fi huluane dadawa: le sosodo ouligisa. Amola E da nowa dunu Ema madelagi amola hame hagasea, ema gasa iaha. Di da gagaoule hamoi dagoi. Amaiba: le, wahawinini, di da gegenana ahoanumu.”
For the eyes of Yhwh run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him. Herein thou hast done foolishly: therefore from henceforth thou shalt have wars.
10 Amo sia: nababeba: le, A:isa da ougi bagade ba: i. Ea sia: beba: le, ilia da balofede dunu sia: inega lagili yolesi. Amogalu, A:isa da muni Yuda fi dunu mogili ilima dodona: gi hou hamosu.
Then Asa was wroth with the seer, and put him in a prison house; for he was in a rage with him because of this thing. And Asa oppressed some of the people the same time.
11 Hou huluane hina bagade A: isa hamoi, ea muni hamoi asili ea bogosu, amo huluane da “Yuda hina bagade ilia Hamonanu Meloa” amo ganodini dedene legei.
And, behold, the acts of Asa, first and last, lo, they are written in the book of the kings of Judah and Israel.
12 A: isa ea ouligibi ode 39 amoga, e da olobeba: le, emo gasuga: igi. Be amomane, e da Hina Godema hame sinidigi. E da udigili manoma legesu dunu ilima e fidima: ne hogoi.
And Asa in the thirty and ninth year of his reign was diseased in his feet, until his disease was exceeding great: yet in his disease he sought not to Yhwh, but to the physicians.
13 E da olole, ode aduna gidigili, bogoi.
And Asa slept with his fathers, and died in the one and fortieth year of his reign.

And they buried him in his own sepulchres, which he had made for himself in the city of David, and laid him in the bed which was filled with sweet odours and divers kinds of spices prepared by the apothecaries’ art: and they made a very great burning for him.
