1 Gode Ea A: silibu da A: salaia (Oudede egefe) ema aligila sa: i. Amola e da hina bagade A: isa ba: musa: asi. E da amane wele sia: i. “Hina bagade A: isa! Amola Yuda fi amola Bediamini fi dunu huluane! Na sia: nabima! Dilia da Hina Godema noga: le fa: no bobogesea, E da dilima gamu. Dilia E hogosea, E ba: mu. Be dilia E baligi fa: sea, E da dili fisidigimu.
And upon Azariah son of Oded hath been the Spirit of God,
and he goeth out before Asa, and saith to him, 'Hear, me, Asa, and all Judah and Benjamin; Jehovah [is] with you — in your being with Him, and if ye seek Him, He is found of you, and if ye forsake Him, He forsaketh you;
3 Eso bagohame, Isala: ili fi da Godedafa hamedene, gobele salasu olelesu dunu hamedene, amola sema hamedenewane esalu.
and many days [are] to Israel without a true God, and without a teaching priest, and without law,
4 Be se nabasu da ilima doaga: loba, ilia da Isala: ili Hina Godema bu sinidigi. Ilia da E hogolalu, ba: i dagoi.
and it turneth back in its distress unto Jehovah, God of Israel, and they seek Him, and He is found of them,
5 Amo esoga, dunu da hahawane halegale lalumu hamedei ba: i. Bai bidi hamosu amola wili gala: su, amo soge huluane ganodini ba: i.
and in those times there is no peace to him who is going out, and to him who is coming in, for many troubles [are] on all the inhabitants of the lands,
6 Fi afae da fi eno amo banenesi. Moilai bai bagade da eno moilai bai bagade amo banenesi. Bai Gode da amo se nabasu ilima i dagoi.
and they have been beaten down, nation by nation, and city by city, for God hath troubled them with every adversity;
7 Be dilia da gasa fili, mae da: i dioma. Dilia hawa: hamobeba: le, bidi noga: i lamu.”
and ye, be ye strong, and let not your hands be feeble, for there is a reward for your work.'
8 A: isa da A: salaia (Oudede egefe) amo ea ba: la: lusu sia: nababeba: le, ea dogo denesi. E da ogogosu ‘gode’ loboga hamoi liligi huluane Yuda soge, Bediamini soge amola moilai bai bagade huluane e da Ifala: ime sogega susugui, amo ganodini dialu amo mugululi fasi. Amola e da Hina Gode oloda amo da Debolo Diasu gagoi ganodini dialu, amo bu dodoa: i.
And at Asa's hearing these words, and the prophecy of Oded the prophet, he hath strengthened himself, and doth cause the abominations to pass away out of all the land of Judah and Benjamin, and out of the cities that he hath captured from the hill-country of Ephraim, and reneweth the altar of Jehovah that [is] before the porch of Jehovah,
9 Ifala: ime, Ma: na: se amola Simione fi dunu bagohame da Isala: ili fisili, A:isama gai. Bai ilia Hina Gode da A: isama gai ba: i. A: isa da ili huluane, amola Yuda amola Bediamini fi dunu ema misa: ne sia: i.
and gathereth all Judah and Benjamin, and the sojourners with them out of Ephraim, and Manasseh, and out of Simeon — for they have fallen unto him from Israel in abundance, in their seeing that Jehovah his God [is] with him.
10 Ili huluane da oubi osoda amola ode 15 A: isa ea ouligibi galu, Yelusalemega gilisi.
And they are gathered to Jerusalem in the third month of the fifteenth year of the reign of Asa,
11 Amo esoga, ilia da ilia susugui liligi mogili, Hina Godema gobele salasu hamoi. Ilia da bulamagau 700 agoane amola sibi 7,000 agoane gobele sali.
and sacrifice to Jehovah on that day from the spoil they have brought in — oxen seven hundred, and sheep seven thousand,
12 Ilia aowalalia Hina Godema ilia asigi dawa: su huluane, amola ilia a: silibu huluane, amoga Ema nodone sia: ne gadolaloma: ne, ilegele sia: i dagoi.
and they enter into a covenant to seek Jehovah, God of their fathers, with all their heart, and with all their soul,
13 Nowa da ayeligi o da: i hamoi, dunu o uda, amo da Hina Godema nodone sia: ne gadomu hihisia, ilia da amo medole legema: ne sia: i.
and every one who doth not seek for Jehovah, God of Israel, is put to death, from small unto great, from man unto woman.
14 Ilia da Hina Gode Ea Dioba: le, amo ilegele sia: su noga: le ouligima: ne wele sia: i. Amalalu, ilia ha: giwane wele sisia: sa, dalabede fulabosu.
And they swear to Jehovah with a loud voice, and with shouting, and with trumpets, and with cornets,
15 Yuda dunu huluane da amo ilegele sia: su (gousa: su) noga: le hamoiba: le, hahawane bagade ba: i. Ilia da Hina Godema nodone sia: ne gadobeba: le, hahawane bagade ba: i. Hina Gode da ili lale sali, amola Ea hamobeba: le, ili sisiga: le fi da ili hame doagala: i.
and rejoice do all Judah concerning the oath, for with all their heart they have sworn, and with all their good-will they have sought Him, and He is found of them, and Jehovah giveth rest to them round about.
16 Hina bagade A: isa da ea aiya: Ma: iaga amo sefasi. Bai e da ogogosu uda ‘gode’ Asila, ema nodone sia: ne gadoma: ne, wadela: idafa ‘gode’ liligi ea loboga hamoi. A: isa da amo loboga hamoi ‘gode’ aba sasalili, Gidalone Fagoga ulagisi.
And also Maachah, mother of Asa the king — he hath removed her from [being] mistress, in that she hath made for a shrine a horrible thing, and Asa cutteth down her horrible thing, and beateth [it] small, and burneth [it] by the brook Kidron:
17 A: isa da ea esalusu huluane ganodini, Hina Godema madelagili esalebe ba: i. Be ogogosu ‘gode’ ilima nodone sia: ne gadosu sogebi mogili, e da hame gugunufinisi.
yet the high places have not turned aside from Israel; only, the heart of Asa hath been perfect all his days.
18 E da noga: i liligi amo ea eda Abaidia da Godema modale ligiagale i, amola gouli amola silifa amo hisu da modale ligiagale i, amo huluane Debolo Diasu ganodini lidili legei.
And he bringeth in the sanctified things of his father, and his own sanctified things, to the house of God, silver, and gold, and vessels.
19 Isala: ili fi da olofole esalu, amogainini A: isa ea ouligibi ode 35 da doaga: i.
And war hath not been till the thirty and fifth year of the reign of Asa.
