2 Hou Olelesu 11
1 Lihouboua: me da Yelusaleme moilai bai bagadega doaga: lalu, e da baligili noga: i dadi gagui dunu 180,000 agoane, amo Yuda amola Bediamini fi ilima gilisi. E da gegene, bu ga (north) Isala: ili fi ili bu ouligimusa: dawa: i.
And when Rehobo'am was come to Jerusalem, he assembled the house of Judah and Benjamin a hundred and eighty thousand chosen men, warriors, to fight against Israel, to bring back the kingdom again to Rehobo'am.
2 Be Gode da Ea Sia: Alofesu dunu (balofede) Siema: ia ema amane sia: i,
But the word of the Lord came unto Shema'yahu the man of God, saying,
3 “Lihouboua: me amola Yuda amola Bediamini fi dunu huluane ilima amane sia: sima,
Say unto Rehobo'am the son of Solomon, the king of Judah and Benjamin, saying,
4 ‘Dilia fidafa Isala: ili dunu ili mae doagala: ma! Dilia huluane diasuga masa! Hou da wali doaga: i amo da Na hanaiga doaga: i.” Ilia huluane da Hina Gode Ea hamoma: ne sia: i nabi dagoi, amola ilia diasuga buhagi.
Thus hath said the Lord, Ye shall not go up, nor fight with your brethren: return every man to his house; for from me hath this thing been brought about. And they hearkened to the words of the Lord, and returned from going against Jerobo'am.
5 Lihouboua: me da Yelusaleme ganodini esalu. Ea sia: beba: le, Yuda dunu da moilai bai bagade hagudu dedei, amo gagili sali: - Bedeleheme, Ida: me, Degoua, Bedese, Siougou, Adala: me, Ga: de, Malisia, Sife, A:doula: me, La: igisi, Asoga, Soula, A:idialone amola Hibalone.
And Rehobo'am dwelt in Jerusalem, and built cities as fortresses in Judah.
He built, namely, Beth-lechem, and 'Etam, and Thekoa'.
And Beth-zur, and Socho, and 'Adullam,
And Gath, and Mareshah, and Ziph,
And Adorayim and Lachish, and 'Azekah,
And Zor'ah, and Ayalon, and Hebron, which are in Judah and in Benjamin, fortified cities.
11 E da amo huluane gasawane gagili sali, amola afae afae ouligima: ne, ouligisu dunu ilegei. Afae afae amo ganodini, e da ha: i manu, olife susuligi amola waini hano lidili legei.
And he strengthened the strong-holds, and put commanders in them, and stores of food, and oil and wine;
12 Amola ea da da: igene ga: su amola goge agei, amo gagili sali moilai bai bagade ganodini lidili legei. E da Yuda fi amola Bediamini fi gasawane ouligima: ne agoane hamosu.
And in each and every city [he placed] shields and spears, and made them exceedingly strong: and thus remained with him Judah and Benjamin.
13 Gobele salasu dunu amola Lifai fi dunu, ilia da Isala: ili soge fisili, ga (south) Yuda sogega misi.
And the priests and the Levites that were in all Israel presented themselves to him out of all their territory.
14 Lifai fi dunu da ilia ohe fi ilia ha: i nasu soge amola eno soge fisili, Yuda sogega amola Yelusaleme moilai bai bagadega misi. Bai hina bagade Yelouboua: me amola e bagia dunu da ilia Hina Godema gobele salasu hawa: hamomu logo ga: i dagoi.
For the Levites left their open districts and their possession, and went to Judah and Jerusalem; because Jerobo'am and his sons cast them off from executing the priest's office unto the Lord,
15 Yelouboua: me da hi hanaiga, gobele salasu dunu amo da ogogosu ‘gode’ amola wadela: i a: silibu amola ea loboga hamoi bulamagau mano gawali agoai, ilima nodone sia: ne gadosu hou ouligima: ne, ili ilegei.
And [because] he ordained for himself priests for the high-places, and for the evil spirits, and for the calves which he had made.
16 Isala: ili fi huluane amoga, nowa da Isala: ili Hina Godema moloiwane fa: no bobogemusa: dawa: i, ilia da Isala: ili soge fisili, Lifai fi dunuma fa: no bobogele, Yelusalemega asi. Bai ilia da ilia aowalalia Hina Godema gobele salasu hou hamomusa: hanai galu.
And after them [came] out of all the tribes of Israel such as directed their heart to seek the Lord the God of Israel: these came to Jerusalem, to sacrifice unto the Lord, the God of their fathers.

And they strengthened the kingdom of Judah, and brought power to Rehobo'am, the son of Solomon, during three years; for they walked in the way of David and Solomon during three years.

And Rehobo'am took himself as wife Machalath the daughter of Jerimoth the son of David, [and] Abichayil the daughter of Eliab the son of Jesse;
19 Lihouboua: me amola Ma: ihala: de elea dunu mano da Yeuse, Siemalaia amola Sa: iha: me.
And she bore to him sons: Je'ush, and Shamaryah, and Zaham.
20 Fa: no, Lihouboua: me da Ma: iaga (A: basalome idiwi) amo lai. Eleagefelali da Abaidia, A:da: i, Sisa amola Siloumode.
And after her did he take Ma'achah the daughter of Abshalom; and she bore to him Abiyah, and 'Attai, and Ziza, and Shelomith.
21 Lihouboua: me da udadafa 18 agoane lai amola gidisedagi uda 60 agoane lai. Egefelali idi da 28 agoane, amola idiwilali idi da 60 agoane. Hi dogolegeidafa uda da Ma: iaga.
And Rehobo'am loved Ma'achah the daughter of Abshalom more than all his wives and his concubines; for he had taken eighteen wives and sixty concubines; and he begat twenty and eight sons, and sixty daughters.

And Rehobo'am appointed Abiyah the son of Ma'achah to be the chief, to be ruler among his brethren; because [he desired] to make him king.
23 Lihouboua: me da dawa: iwane hamonanusu. E da egefelali ilima hawa: hamosu ilegei. Ea sia: beba: le, ilia da Yuda amola Bediamini soge amola gagili sali moilai bai bagade, amo ganodini ouligisu hawa: hamosu. E da liligi bagade ilima i, amola ilia lama: ne, uda bagohame ilima i.
And he dealt understandingly, and dispersed all his children throughout all the countries of Judah and Benjamin, unto all the fortified cities; and he gave them food in abundance and he required [for them] a multitude of wives.
