1 Solo da egefe Yonada: ne amola ea ouligisu dunu huluane ilima e da Da: ibidi fane legemusa: sia: ilegei. Be Yonada: ne da Da: ibidima bagade dogolegei galu.
Then Saul spake to Ionathan his sonne, and to all his seruantes, that they shoulde kill Dauid: but Ionathan Sauls sonne had a great fauour to Dauid.
2 Amaiba: le, Yonada: ne da Da: ibidima amane sia: i, “Na ada da di fane legemusa: logo hogolala. Aya hahabe noga: le dawa: ma! Wamoaligisu soge hogole, amogawi esaloma!
And Ionathan told Dauid, saying, Saul my father goeth about to slay thee: nowe therefore, I pray thee, take heede vnto thy selfe vnto the morning, and abide in a secret place, and hide thy selfe.
3 Na da ada ani asili, dia wamoaligi dialebe amo gadenene aligili, dimadi sia: na adama sia: mu. Na da dima hamomu sia: nabasea, amo dima adomu.”
And I will go out, and stand by my father in the fielde where thou art, and will commune with my father of thee, and I will see what he sayth, and will tell thee.
4 Yonada: ne da Soloma Da: ibidi ea hou nodone olelei. E amane sia: i, “Ada! Dia hawa: hamosu dunu Da: ibidima mae giadofale hamoma. E da dima giadofale hamedafa hamoi. Be e da dima giadofale mae hamone, e da dima fidisu hou baligili bagadedafa hamoi.
And Ionathan spake good of Dauid vnto Saul his father, and said vnto him, Let not the King sinne against his seruat, against Dauid: for he hath not sinned against thee, but his works haue bene to thee very good.
5 E da ea esalusu mae dawa: le, Goulaia: de fane legei. Amalalu, Hina Gode da Isala: ili fi ilia baligili hasalasimusa: hamonesi. Di da amo ba: loba, nodoi. Amaiba: le, di da abuliba: le hame giadofasu dunu amo bai hamedenewane fane legemusa: dawa: bela: ?”
For he did put his life in daunger, and slew the Philistim, and the Lord wrought a great saluation for al Israel: thou sawest it, and thou reioycedst: wherefore then wilt thou sinne against innocent blood, and slay Dauid without a cause?

Then Saul hearkened vnto the voyce of Ionathan, and Saul sware, As the Lord liueth, he shall not dye.
7 Amaiba: le, Yonada: ne da Da: ibidi wele guda: le, Solo ea sia: i liligi huluane ema adole i. Amalalu, e da Da: ibidi amo Soloma oule asili, Da: ibidi da ea musa: hamoi defele bu Solo ea hawa: hamosu.
So Ionathan called Dauid, and Ionathan shewed him all those words, and Ionathan brought Dauid to Saul, and hee was in his presence as in times past.
8 Filisidini dunu amola Isala: ili dunu da bu gegei. Da: ibidi da ilima doagala: le, ilima noga: le hasalasibiba: le, Filisidini dunu da hobeale afia: su.
Againe the warre began, and Dauid went out and fought with the Philistims, and slew them with a great slaughter, and they fled from him.
9 Ha afaega, wadela: i a: silibu Hina Godemadi misi da Soloma aligila sa: i. E da hi diasua goge agei hi loboa gaguli esalu, amo Da: ibidi da amoga ea sani baidama dusa esalu.
And the euill spirit of the Lord was vpon Saul, as hee sate in his house hauing his speare in his hand, and Dauid played with his hand.
10 Solo da ea goge agei amoga Da: ibidi dobeala bobodole danoma: nesimusa: gala: le ba: i. Be Da: ibidi da giadofale, goge agei da dobea damana nudasi. Da: ibidi da hame ludiba: le, hobeale asi.
And Saul intended to smite Dauid to the wall with the speare: but hee turned aside out of Sauls presence, and he smote the speare against the wall: but Dauid fled, and escaped the same night.
11 Amogala gasiawane, Solo da Da: ibidi ea diasu ba: lesili hahabe fama: ne, hawa: hamosu dunu asunasi. Da: ibidi idua Maiga: le da ema amane sisa: i, “Di da wali gasia hame hobeale dasea, aya medole legei dagoi ba: mu.”
Saul also sent messengers vnto Dauids house, to watch him, and to slay him in the morning: and Michal Dauids wife told it him, saying, If thou saue not thy selfe this night, to morowe thou shalt be slayne.
12 Maiga: le da Da: ibidi fo misa: ne agenesi gelabodi amoga gudu asunasia guduli, e da hobea: i.
So Michal let Dauid downe through a window: and he went, and fled, and escaped.
13 Amalu, e da dununa hamoi ogogosu ‘gode’ liligi diasua bugisi amo lale, diaheda: su da: iya diasili, goudi hinaboga hamoi dialuma fugululisili, abula sosonesi.
Then Michal tooke an image, and layde it in the bed, and put a pillow stuffed with goates heare vnder the head of it, and couered it with a cloth.
14 Solo ea dunu da Da: ibidi lala manoba, Maiga: le da ilima amane sia: i, “E da oloi diala.”
And when Saul sent messengers to take Dauid, she sayd, He is sicke.
15 Be Solo da ea hawa: hamosu dunu ilia siga Da: ibidi oloi dialebe ba: ma: ne bu asunasi. E ilima amane sia: i, “Ea diaheda: su da: iya dialebe, amo goeguda: gaguli misa. Amasea, na da e medole legemu.”
And Saul sent the messengers againe to see Dauid, saying, Bring him to me in the bed, that I may slay him.
16 Ilia da ganodini sa: ili ba: loba, dununa hahamoi liligi amo da goudi hinaboga hamoi busafugululi diasi dialebe ba: i.
And when the messengers were come in, behold, an image was in the bed, with a pillow of goates heare vnder the head of it.
17 Solo da Maiga: lema adole ba: i, “Di da abuliba: le na ha lai hobeama: ne nama ogogobela: ?” Maiga: le da bu adole i, “Na da e hobeama: ne hame fidisia, e da na fane legemu sia: i.”
And Saul said vnto Michal, Why hast thou mocked me so, and sent away mine enemie, that he is escaped? And Michal answered Saul, He said vnto me, Let me go, or els I will kill thee.
18 Da: ibidi da hobeale, La: ima sogega, Sa: miuelema asili, Solo ea ema hamoi liligi huluane ema adole i. Amalu, e amola Sa: miuele ela da Na: iode amoma asili esalu.
So Dauid fled, and escaped, and came to Samuel to Ramah, and told him all that Saul had done to him: and he and Samuel went and dwelt in Naioth.
19 Solo da Da: ibidi amo da Na: iode sogebi, La: ima soge amo ganodini esalebe nabi.
But one tolde Saul, saying, Beholde, Dauid is at Naioth in Ramah.
20 Amaiba: le, e da dunu amo Da: ibidi gagula masa: ne asunasi. Ilia da asili ba: loba, Sa: miuele hi ouligili balofede dunu huluane gilisi da hoahoasa gogosa: dalebe ba: i. Amalu, Hina Gode Ea A: silibu Hadigidafa da Solo ea dunu ilima aliligila dabeba: le, ilia amola da momadelale hoahoasa gogosa: dusa: i.
And Saul sent messengers to take Dauid: and when they sawe a company of Prophets prophecying, and Samuel standing as appoynted ouer them, the Spirit of God fell vpon the messengers of Saul, and they also prophecied.
21 Solo da amo sia: nababeba: le, e da dunu eno dewane asunasi. Be ilia amola da amanewane momadelale hoahoasa gogosa: dusa: i. E da dunu mogi osoda eno asunasi, be ilia da amanewane hamoi.
And when it was tolde Saul, he sent other messengers, and they prophecied likewise: againe Saul sent the third messengers, and they prophecied also.
22 Amalalu, Solo hi bisili La: ima soge amoga masusa: asi. E da hano si bagade Sigu sogebiga dialu amoga doaga: le, Sa: miuele amola Da: ibidi da habia: le nababa: loba, ela da Na: iode sogega esalayabe nabi.
Then went he himselfe to Ramah, and came to a great well that is in Sechu, and he asked, and sayd, Where are Samuel and Dauid? and one sayd, Behold, they be at Naioth in Ramah.
23 Solo da amoga ahoanoba, Gode Ea A: silibu da ema aligila sa: ili, e da hoahoasa gogosa: ahoana, Na: iode sogebiga doaga: i.
And he went thither, euen to Naioth in Ramah, and the Spirit of God came vpon him also, and he went prophecying vntill hee came to Naioth in Ramah.
24 Solo da Sa: miuele ea si da: iyawane hoahoasa, abula huluane gigisa: le fasili gogosa: lalu, amo esoha amola gasia e da da: i nabado solegadole gebewane dialu. (Amo hou hamobeba: le, fa: no dunu da amane sia: dasu, “Solo da balofede dunu hamobela: ?”)
And he stript off his clothes, and he prophesied also before Samuel, and fell downe naked all that day and all that night: therefore they say, Is Saul also among the Prophets?
