Then the dayes of Dauid drewe neere that he should die, and hee charged Salomon his sonne, saying,
2 “Na bogomu eso da doaga: i. Di mae beda: ne, gasa fili aligima.
I go the way of all the earth: be strong therefore, and shew thy selfe a man,
3 Amola dia Hina Gode Ea hamoma: ne sia: be amo defele hamoma. Ea sema amola hamoma: ne sia: i Mousese ea Sema Buga ganodini dedei, amo defele hamoma. Di da amane hamosea, di da habodili ahoasea amola di adi hamosea, hahawane ba: mu.
And take heede to the charge of the Lord thy God, to walke in his wayes, and keepe his statutes, and his commandements, and his iudgements, and his testimonies, as it is written in the Law of Moses, that thou mayest prosper in all that thou doest, and in euery thing whereunto thou turnest thee,
4 Hina Gode da nama amane ilegele sia: i, ‘Digaga fi da Na sia: amo mae fisili dafawane noga: le nabawane hamosea, ilia da Isala: ili fi ouligilalumu. Di da Ea sia: nabawane hamosea, Hina Gode da amo ilegele sia: i dafawane dima hamomu.
That the Lord may confirme his worde which hee spake vnto me, saying, If thy sonnes take heede to their way, that they walke before me in trueth, with all their hearts, and with all their soules, thou shalt not (sayd he) want one of thy posteritie vpon the throne of Israel.
5 Eno adomu gala. Dia dawa: amo Youa: be da Isala: ili dadi gagui wa: i ouligisu dunu aduna, (Ne ea mano A: bena amola Yidie ea mano Ama: isa) medole legeiba: le, na hou wadela: lesi. Ela da gegesu esoga dunu eno ha lai dunu medole legei. Be Youa: be da olofosu esoga amo dunu elama dabe i. E da wadela: i hame hamosu dunu medole legei. Be waha da amo se nabasu na fawane da naba.
Thou knowest also what Ioab the sonne of Zeruiah did to me, and what he did to the two captaines of the hostes of Israel, vnto Abner the sonne of Ner, and vnto Amasa the sonne of Iether: whome he slewe, and shed blood of battell in peace, and put the blood of warre vpon his girdle that was about his loynes, and in his shooes that were on his feete.
Doe therefore according to thy wisdome, and let thou not his hoare head go downe to the graue in peace. (Sheol h7585)

And beholde, with thee is Shimei the sonne of Gera, the sonne of Iemini, of Bahurim, which cursed mee with an horrible curse in the day when I went to Mahanaim: but hee came downe to meete me at Iorden, and I sware to him by the Lord, saying, I will not slay thee with the sword.

But thou shalt not count him innocent: for thou art a wise man, and knowest what thou oughtest to doe vnto him: therefore thou shalt cause his hoare head to goe downe to the graue with blood. (Sheol h7585)
10 Da: ibidi da bogole, ilia da ea da: i hodo Da: ibidi Moilai Bai Bagade ganodini uli dogonesi.
So Dauid slept with his fathers, and was buried in the citie of Dauid.

And the dayes which Dauid reigned vpon Israel, were fourtie yeeres: seuen yeeres reigned he in Hebron, and thirtie and three yeeres reigned he in Ierusalem.

Then sate Salomon vpon the throne of Dauid his father, and his kingdome was stablished mightily.
13 Amalalu, A:dounaidia (ea ame da Ha: gide) da Ba: desiba (Soloumane eme) ema asi. Ba: desiba da ema amane sia: i, “Di da olofolewane nama misibala: ?” E bu adole i, “Ma! Na da olofoiwane misi.”
And Adonijah the sonne of Haggith came to Bath-sheba the mother of Salomon: and she saide, Commest thou peaceably? And hee said, Yea.
14 Amalalu, e da amane sisa: asi, “Na da dima adole ba: mu gala.” Ba: desiba da amane adole ba: i, “Di da adi sia: ma: bela: ?”
He said moreouer, I haue a sute vnto thee. And she sayd, Say on.
15 E bu adole i, “Di dawa: Na da hina bagade hou lamu da defea galu. Amola Isala: ili dunu huluane da na Isala: ili fi ouligima: ne dawa: i galu. Be hou eno da doaga: i. Amola Hina Gode Ea hanaiba: le, naeya da hina bagade hou lai dagoi.
Then he said, Thou knowest that the kingdome was mine, and that all Israel set their faces on me, that I should reigne: howbeit the kingdome is turned away, and is my brothers: for it came to him by the Lord.
16 Amola wali na da adole ba: su afae fawane gala. Na hanai logo mae hedofama.” Ba: desiba da bu adole ba: i, “Dia hanai da adila: ?”
Nowe therefore I aske thee one request, refuse me not. And she said vnto him, Say on.
17 E bu adole i, “Hina bagade Soloumanema amane adole ba: ma (e da dia adole ba: mu hame hedofamu) ‘Siuneme a: fini A: bisia: ge amo A: dounaidia lama: ne ima.’”
And he sayd, Speake, I pray thee, vnto Salomon ye King, (for he will not say thee nay) that he giue me Abishag the Shunammite to wife.
18 Ba: desiba da amane sia: i, “Defeawane! Na da hina bagadema dia hanai amo adosimu.”
And Bath-sheba sayd, Well, I will speake for thee vnto the King.
19 Amaiba: le, Ba: desiba da A: dounaidia ea adole ba: su adosimusa: , hina bagadema asi. Hina bagade da ea ame yosia: musa: , wa: legadole begudui. Amalalu, e da ea fisuga fili, amola e da fisu eno gaguli misa: ne sia: i. Amoga Ba: desiba da ea lobodafa la: ididili fi.
Bath-sheba therefore went vnto King Salomon, to speake vnto him for Adonijah: and the King rose to meete her, and bowed himselfe vnto her, and sate downe on his throne: and he caused a seate to be set for the Kings mother, and she sate at his right hand.
20 E amane sia: i, “Na da dima adole ba: su fonobahadi gala. Na hanai logo mae hedofama.” Soloumane da amane adole ba: i, “Defea, ame! Dia hanai da adila: ? Na da dia hanai hame hihimu.”
Then she sayd, I desire a small request of thee, say me not nay. Then the King sayde vnto her, Aske on, my mother: for I will not say thee nay.
21 E bu adole i, “A: fini A: bisia: ge amo dia ola A: dounaidia lama: ne ema ima.”
She sayd then, Let Abishag the Shunammite be giuen to Adonijah thy brother to wife.
22 Hina bagade da amane sia: i, “Dia abuliba: le A: bisia: ge amo ema ima: ne sia: sala: ? Di da agoane sia: beba: le, di da defele na hina bagade hou ema ima: ne sia: sa. Bai e da naola. Amola gobele salasu dunu A: baia: da amola Youa: be da e fuligala: sa.”
But King Salomon answered and sayd vnto his mother, And why doest thou aske Abishag the Shunammite for Adonijah? aske for him the kingdome also: for he is mine elder brother, and hath for him both Abiathar the Priest, and Ioab the sonne of Zeruiah.
23 Amalalu, Soloumane da Hina Gode Ea Dioba: le dafawane ilegele sia: i, “A: dounaidia da amo adole ba: beba: le, na da e dabema: ne medole legema: ne sia: sa. Na da amo hame hamosea, Gode da na medole legemu da defea.
Then King Salomon sware by the Lord, saying, God doe so to me and more also, if Adoniiah hath not spoken this worde against his owne life.
24 Hina Gode da hamobeba: le, na da gasa fili, na ada Da: ibidi ea hina bagade fisu amoga hahawane ouligilala. Gode da Ea ilegele sia: i hame gogolei. E da Isala: ili ouligisu hou, na amola nagaga fi ninima i dagoi. Na da Hina Gode Esala amo Ea Dioba: le dafawane ilegele sia: sa. Wali esodafa, A:dounaidia da medole legei dagoi ba: mu.”
Now therefore as ye Lord liueth, who hath established me, and set me on the throne of Dauid my father, who also hath made me an house, as he promised, Adoniiah shall surely die this day.
25 Amaiba: le, hina bagade Soloumane da sia: beba: le, Bina: ia da gadili asili, A:dounaidia medole legei.
And King Salomon sent by the hand of Benaiah the sonne of Iehoiada, and hee smote him that he dyed.
26 Amalalu, hina bagade Soloumane da gobele salasu dunu A: baia: dama amane sia: i, “Dia soge gabolo lai A: nadode amoga masa. Na da di medole legemu da defea gala, be na wahadafa di hame medole legemu. Bai di da na ada Da: ibidi musa: se nabaloba, di da e fidilalu amola Hina Gode Ea Gousa: su Sema Gagili amo ouligilalu.”
Then the King sayd vnto Abiathar the Priest, Go to Anathoth vnto thine owne fieldes: for thou art worthy of death: but I will not this day kill thee, because thou barest the Arke of the Lord God before Dauid my father, and because thou hast suffered in all, wherein my father hath bene afflicted.
27 Amalalu, Soloumane da A: baia: da ea Hina Godema gobele salasu hawa: hamonanu amo fadegai. Amola Hina Gode da musa: Siailou moilaiga sia: i, (1 Sa: miuele 2:27-36 amo gobele salasu dunu Ilai amola ea fi da wadela: lesi dagoi ba: mu), amo sia: da didili hamoi dagoi ba: i.
So Salomon cast out Abiathar from being Priest vnto the Lord, that he might fulfill the wordes of the Lord, which he spake against the house of Eli in Shiloh.
28 Youa: be da amo hou nabi dagoi. (E da A: dounaidia fuligala: lalu be A: basalome hame fuligala: i.) Amaiba: le, e da Hina Gode Abula Diasuga hobeale, oloda hegomai da: iya ‘hono’ amo gagui.
Then tidings came to Ioab: (for Ioab had turned after Adoniiah, but he turned not after Absalom) and Ioab fled vnto the Tabernacle of the Lord, and caught hold on the hornes of the altar.
29 Soloumane da Youa: be da Hina Gode Abula Diasuga hobeale, oloda ‘hono’ gagulalebe, amo sia: nababeba: le, e da sia: adole iasu dunu ema asunasi. E da Youa: bema ea hobea: i bai amo adole ba: i. Youa: be da bu adole i, “Na da Hina Gode na gaga: ma: ne hobea: i. Bai na Soloumaneba: le beda: i.” Amaiba: le, Soloumane da Youa: be medole legemusa: , Bina: ia asunasi.
And it was tolde king Salomon, that Ioab was fled vnto the Tabernacle of the Lord, and beholde, he is by the altar. Then Salomon sent Benaiah the sonne of Iehoiada, saying, Goe, fall vpon him.
30 E da Hina Gode Ea Abula Diasuga asili, Youa: bema amane sia: i, “Hina bagade da dima gadili misa amane sia: sa.” Youa: be da bu adole i, “Hame mabu! Na da guiguda: bogomu.” Bina: ia da hina bagadema buhagili, Youa: be ea sia: i ema olelei.
And Benaiah came to the Tabernacle of the Lord, and sayd vnto him, Thus sayth the King, Come out. And he sayde, Nay, but I will die here. Then Benaiah brought the King worde againe, saying, Thus sayd Ioab, and thus he answered me.
31 Soloumane da amane sia: i, “Youa: be ea sia: i defele hamoma. Amogawi e medole legema amola ea da: i hodo uli dogoma. Youa: be da wadela: i hame hamosu dunu medole legebeba: le, dunu huluane da Da: ibidi amola ea fi ilima ougili fofogadigi. Be e bogosea, ninia da amo se bu hame nabimu.
And the King sayde vnto him, Doe as he hath sayd, and smite him, and bury him, that thou mayest take away the blood, which Ioab shed causelesse, from me and from the house of my father.
32 Hina Gode da Youa: bema se iasu imunu. Bai e da na ada Da: ibidima mae adole, wadela: i hame hamosu dunu aduna (ela hou noga: i da Youa: be ea hou baligi) amo medole legei. Amo dunu da A: bena (Isala: ili dadi gagui wa: i ouligisudafa) amola Ama: isa (Yuda dadi gagui wa: i ouligisudafa).
And the Lord shall bring his blood vpon his owne head: for he smote two men more righteous and better then he, and slew them with the sword, and my father Dauid knew not: to wit, Abner the sonne of Ner, captaine of the hoste of Israel, and Amasa the sonne of Iether captaine of the hoste of Iudah.
33 Amo medole legesu hou ea se dabe iasu da mae fisili, eso huluane, Youa: be amola ea fi ilima doaga: ga: la: lumu. Be Hina Gode da mae fisili, eso huluane Da: ibidi ea fi amo da ea fisuga fisia, ilima hahawane dogolegesu hou amola hasalasisu hou imunu.”
Their blood shall therefore returne vpon the head of Ioab, and on the head of his seede for euer: but vpon Dauid, and vpon his seede, and vpon his house, and vpon his throne shall there be peace for euer from the Lord.
34 Amaiba: le, Bina: ia da Hina Gode Abula Diasuga asili, Youa: be medole legei. Ilia da ea da: i hodo ea moilai sogega uli dogone sali.
So Benaiah the sonne of Iehoiada went vp, and smote him, and slewe him, and he was buryed in his owne house in the wildernesse.

And the King put Benaiah the sonne of Iehoiada in his roume ouer the hoste: and the King set Zadok the Priest in the roume of Abiathar.
36 Amalalu, hina bagade da Simiai ema misa: ne sia: i. E da ema amane sia: i, “Dia diasu amo guiguda: Yelusaleme moilai bai bagade amo ganodini gaguma. Amogawi esaloma amola moilai mae yolesima.
Afterwarde the King sent, and called Shimei, and sayde vnto him, Buylde thee an house in Ierusalem, and dwell there, and depart not thence any whither.
37 Be di da moilaiga ga asili, Gidalone Hano amo baligisia, di da bogosu ba: mu. Amola di da dia hamobeba: le fawane amo se dabe iasu ba: mu.”
For that day that thou goest out, and passest ouer the riuer of Kidron, knowe assuredly, that thou shalt dye the death: thy blood shall be vpon thine owne head.
38 Simiai da amane sia: i, “Defea hina bagade! Na da dia sia: i defele hamomu.” Amaiba: le, e da eso bagohame Yelusaleme amo ganodini esalu.
And Shimei sayd vnto the King, The thing is good: as my lord the King hath sayd, so wil thy seruant doe. So Shimei dwelt in Ierusalem many dayes.
39 Be ode udiana gidigili, ea udigili hawa: hamosu dunu aduna da hobeale, Ga: de soge hina bagade A: igisi (Ma: iaga ea mano) ema asi. Simiai da ela da Ga: de sogega doaga: i nababeba: le,
And after three yeres two of the seruants of Shimei fled away vnto Achish sonne of Maachah King of Gath: and they tolde Shimei, saying, Behold, thy seruants be in Gath.
40 e da ea dougi da: iya fisu ligisili, fila heda: le, ea udigili hawa: hamosu dunu hogomusa: , Ga: de soge hina bagade A: igisima asi. E da ea udigili hawa: hamosu dunu ba: beba: le, ela ea diasuga bu oule misi.
And Shimei arose, and sadled his asse, and went to Gath to Achish, to seeke his seruantes: and Shimei went, and brought his seruants from Gath.
41 Soloumane da ea hamoi nababeba: le,
And it was tolde Salomon, that Shimei had gone from Ierusalem to Gath, and was come againe.
42 e da ema misa: ne sia: sili, ema amane sia: i, “Na sia: beba: le, di da Hina Gode Ea Dioba: le amo Yelusaleme hamedafa yolesima: ne ilegele sia: i. Amola na da dima sisane sia: i, di da Yelusaleme yolesea, dafawane bogomu. Di da amo sia: dafawaneyale ilegei amola na sia: nabawane hamoma: ne sia: i.
And the King sent and called Shimei, and sayde vnto him, Did I not make thee to sweare by the Lord, and protested vnto thee, saying, That day that thou goest out, and walkest any whither, knowe assuredly that thou shalt dye the death? And thou saydest vnto mee, The thing is good, that I haue heard.

Why then hast thou not kept the othe of the Lord, and the commandement wherewith I charged thee?

The King sayde also to Shimei, Thou knowest all the wickednes whereunto thine heart is priuie, that thou diddest to Dauid my father: the Lord therefore shall bring thy wickednesse vpon thine owne head.
45 Be E da nama hahawane dogolegele imunu amola Da: ibidi ea hina bagade ouligisu hou da gasa fili, eso huluane dialumu.”
And let King Salomon be blessed, and the throne of Dauid stablished before the Lord for euer.
46 Amalalu, hina bagade da Bina: iama hamoma: ne sia: beba: le, e da ga asili, Simiai medole legei. Amalalu, Soloumane da gasa fili, Isala: ili ouligisu hou gaguiwane ba: i.
So the King comanded Benaiah the sonne of Iehoiada: who went out and smote him that he dyed. And the kingdome was established in the hand of Salomon.
