1 Amalalu, ode osodayale gibu hame daha eso agoanega, Hina Gode da Ilaidiama amane sia: i, “Di asili, hina bagade A: iha: bema doaga: ma! Amasea, Na da gibu iasimu.”
After many dayes, the worde of the Lord came to Eliiah, in the third yeere, saying, Goe, shewe thy selfe vnto Ahab, and I will sende rayne vpon the earth.
2 Amaiba: le, Ilaidia da muni asi. Samelia soge ganodini, esoiba: le, ha: i da baligili bagadedafa ba: i.
And Eliiah went to shew himselfe vnto Ahab, and there was a great famine in Samaria.
3 Amaiba: le, A:iha: be da hina bagade diasu ouligisu dunu Oubadaiama, ema misa: ne sia: i. (Oubadaia da noga: le Hina Godema nodone sia: ne gadosu dawa: i.
And Ahab called Obadiah the gouernour of his house: (and Obadiah feared God greatly:
4 Yesebele da Hina Gode Ea balofede dunu ili gebewane medole legelaloba, Oubadaia da balofede dunu 100 agoane lale, dogoa mogili gilisisu 50 aduna hamone, magufu gelabo aduna ganodini wamoaligimusa: oule asili, ilima ha: i manu amola hano gaguli masu.)
For when Iezebel destroyed the Prophets of the Lord, Obadiah tooke an hundreth Prophets, and hid them, by fiftie in a caue, and he fed them with bread and water.)
5 A: iha: be da Oubadaiama amane sia: i, “Ani ahoa: di! Ania da hano bubuga: su amola hano logo huluane soge ganodini ba: la masunu. Ania da Isala: ili dunu ilia hosi amola miule esalomusa: defele gisi hogola masunu. Amabela: ? Ninia ohe afae da hame medole legei ba: ma: bela: ?”
And Ahab saide vnto Obadiah, Goe into the land, vnto all the fountaines of water, and vnto all the riuers, if so be that we may finde grasse to saue the horses and the mules aliue, lest we depriue the lande of the beastes.
6 Ela da sia: dalu, ela afae afae hogola masunu soge ilegei. Amalalu, ela da logo higagale asi.
And so they deuided the lande betweene them to walke thorowe it. Ahab went one way by him selfe, and Obadiah went another way by him selfe.
7 Oubadaia da logoga ahoanoba, hedolowane Ilaidia ba: i. E da ea odagi dawa: beba: le, ea midadi gududafa beguduli, amane adole ba: i, “Hina! Amo da dila: ?”
And as Obadiah was in the way, behold, Eliiah met him: and he knew him, and fell on his face, and said, Art not thou my lord Eliiah?
8 E bu adole i, “Dafawane! Na da Ilaidia wea! Di asili, dia hina bagade ema na da guiguda: esala: ba: ya adoma!”
And he answered him, Yea, goe tell thy lord, Behold, Eliiah is here.
9 Oubadaia da amane adole i, “Na da adi hamobela: ? Dia da abuliba: le na hina bagade A: iha: be, ea na fane legema: ne logo fodosala: ?
And he said, What haue I sinned, that thou wouldest deliuer thy seruant into the hande of Ahab, to slay me?
10 Dia Hina Gode Esala amo Ea Dioba: le na da dafawane ilegele sia: sa. A: iha: be da osobo bagadega fifi asi gala huluane amo ganodini, di hogoi helei. Soge fi ouligisu dunu afae da di da ea soge ganodini hame esala sia: ne iasu ianoba, A:iha: be da amo hina bagade, e da di hamedafa ba: i, amo dafawane ilegele sia: musa: sia: i.
As the Lord thy God liueth, there is no nation or kingdome, whither my lorde hath not sent to seeke thee: and when they sayd, He is not here, he tooke an othe of the kingdome and nation, if they had not found thee.
11 Amaiba: le, di da abuliba: le nama di da goega: i esala, amane ema sia: na masa: ne sia: bela: ?
And now thou sayest, Goe, tell thy lorde, Beholde, Eliiah is here.
12 Na da ahoasea, amola Hina Gode Ea A: silibu da di eno hame dawa: sogega oule ahoasea, na da adi hamoma: bela: ? Amane hamosea, na da A: iha: bema, di da goega: i esala amo adole, e da di goega: i esalebe hame ba: sea, na medole legemu. Di bu dawa: ma! Na goi fonobahadiga ganini, Hina Godema noga: le nodone sia: ne gadosu dawa: i.
And when I am gone from thee, the Spirit of the Lord shall cary thee into some place that I doe not know: so when I come and tell Ahab, if he cannot finde thee, then wil he kill me: But I thy seruant feare the Lord from my youth.
13 Yesebele da Hina Gode Ea balofede dunu ili gebewane medole legelaloba, na da balofede dunu 100 agoane lale, dogoa mogili gilisisu idi 50 aduna hamone, magufu gelabo aduna ganodini wamoaligimusa: oule asili, ilima ha: i manu amola hano gaguli masu. Amo di da hame nabibala: ?
Was it not tolde my lord, what I did when Iezebel slew the Prophets of the Lord, how I hid an hundreth men of the Lordes Prophets by fifties in a caue, and fed them with bread and water?
14 Amaiba: le, di da abuli na hina bagadema, di da goega: i esala: ba: ya adoma: ne, nama sia: sala: ? E da na medole legemu!”
And now thou sayest, Go, tel thy lord, Behold, Eliiah is here, that he may slay me.
15 Ilaidia da bu adole i, “Na da Hina Gode Bagadedafa Esala amo Ea hawa: hamonana. Amola na da Ea Dioba: le dafawane ilegele sia: sa. Na da wali esoga, hina bagadema odagi olemu.”
And Eliiah said, As the Lord of hostes liueth, before whome I stand, I will surely shewe my selfe vnto him this day.
16 Amaiba: le, Oubadaia da hina bagade A: iha: bema asili, ema Ilaidia da esala: ba: ya adoi. Amalu, A:iha: be da Ilaidia gousa: musa: asi.
So Obadiah went to meete Ahab, and tolde him: And Ahab went to meete Eliiah.
17 A: iha: be da Ilaidia ba: beba: le, amane sia: i, “Agoea esalebe! Di da Isala: ili soge ganodini bidi hamosu dunu oda ilia hamosu bagadewane baligisa.”
And when Ahab saw Eliiah, Ahab said vnto him, Art thou he that troubleth Israel?
18 Ilaidia da bu adole i, “Na da bidi hamosu dunudafa hame. Be di amola dia ada alia da bidi hamosu dunu. Di da Hina Gode Ea hamoma: ne sia: i amo mae nabawane hamone, ogogole ‘gode’ Ba: ile agoaila hahamoi amoma nodone sia: ne gadolala.
And he answered, I haue not troubled Israel, but thou, and thy fathers house, in that ye haue forsaken the commandements of the Lord, and thou hast followed Baalim.
19 Waha Isala: ili dunu huluane na gousa: musa: , Gamele Goumi amoga misa: ne sia: ma. Ilia da Ba: ile balofede dunu 450 agoane amola ogogole uda ‘gode’ Asila ea balofede dunu 400 agoane amo da hina bagade uda Yesebele ea fuligala: be, amo huluane oule misa.”
Now therefore send, and gather to me all Israel vnto mount Carmel, and the prophets of Baal foure hundreth and fiftie, and the prophets of the groues foure hundreth, which eate at Iezebels table.
20 Amaiba: le, A:iha: be da Isala: ili dunu huluane amola Ba: ile balofede dunu huluane, Gamele Goumia gilisima: ne sia: i.
So Ahab sent vnto all the children of Israel, and gathered the prophets together vnto mount Carmel.
21 Ilaidia da dunu huluanema asili, amane sia: i, “Dilia da habo wali seda ‘gode’ aduna elama fa: no bobogemusa: dadawa: loma: bela: ? Dilia da Hina Gode da Godedafa dawa: sea, Ema nodone sia: ne gadoma! Be dilia da Ba: ile da Godedafa dawa: sea, ema nodone sia: ne gadoma!” Be Isala: ili dunu da sia: afae hamedafa sia: i.
And Eliiah came vnto all the people, and said, How long halt ye betweene two opinions? If the Lord be God, follow him: but if Baal be he, then goe after him. And the people answered him not a worde.
22 Amalalu, Ilaidia da amane sia: i, “Na fawane da Hina Gode Ea balofede dunudafa esala. Be Ba: ile ea balofede dunu da 450 agoane esala.
Then said Eliiah vnto the people, I onely remayne a Prophet of the Lord: but Baals prophets are foure hundreth and fiftie men.
23 Bulamagau gawali aduna gaguli misa! Ba: ile balofede dunu ilia da afae lale, medole, dasega: le, lalu habei da: iya ligisima. Be lalu mae ulagima. Na da bulamagau eno amoga ilia hamoi amo defele hamomu.
Let them therefore giue vs two bullockes, and let them chuse the one, and cut him in pieces, and lay him on the wood, but put no fire vnder, and I will prepare the other bullocke, and lay him on the wood, and will put no fire vnder.
24 Amalu, Ba: ile balofede dunu da ilia ‘gode’ma sia: ne gadoma: ma. Amola na da Hina Godema sia: ne gadomu. Amalu, nowa ea hahamoi lalu nene gala: be ba: sea, amo ilia ‘gode’ da Godedafa esalebe dawa: mu.” Dunu huluane da amo hamomu hou hahawane nababeba: le, wele sia: i.
Then call ye on the name of your god, and I will call on the name of the Lord: and then the God that answereth by fire, let him be God. And all the people answered, and sayde, It is well spoken.
25 Ilaidia da Ba: ile balofede dunuma amane sia: i, “Dilia da dunu bagohameba: le, dili hidadea, bulamagau gawali lale, hahamoma. Dilia ‘gode’ma sia: ne gadoma, be lalu habei mae ulagisima.”
And Eliiah said vnto the prophets of Baal, Chuse you a bullocke, and prepare him first, (for ye are many) and call on the name of your gods, but put no fire vnder.
26 Ilia da bulamagau gawali amo da ilima gaguli misi, amo lale hahamoi. Amalu, Ba: ilema sia: ne gadolalobawane, esomogoa doaga: i. Ilia da amane wele sia: i, “Ba: ile! Ba: ile! Ninia sia: ne gadobe nabima: i!” Amola, ilia da oloda ilia gagili, amo sisiga: le, gagafodudalu. Be amomane, Ba: ile da ilima dabe hame adole i.
So they tooke the one bullocke, that was giuen them, and they prepared it, and called on the name of Baal, from morning to noone, saying, O Baal, heare vs: but there was no voyce, nor any to answere: and they leapt vpon the altar that was made.
27 Esomogoadafa, Ilaidia da iliba: le lalasogole oufesega: nu. E amane sia: i, “Bu ha: giwane sia: ne gadoma! E da ‘gode’! E da olobolala ganumu o baeya sowana ganumu. O e da logoba: le asi ganumu. O e da golai diala ganumu. Amo didilisima!”
And at noone Eliiah mocked them, and said, Crye loude: for he is a god: either he talketh or pursueth his enemies, or is in his iourney, or it may be that he sleepeth, and must be awaked.
28 Amaiba: le, balofede dunu da bu ha: giwane sia: ne gadole amola ilia hou defele, ili gobele gobihei amola nusi amoga fofa: ginanobawane, maga: me da a: idafia: i.
And they cryed loude, and cut them selues as their maner was, with kniues and launcers, till the blood gushed out vpon them.
29 Ilia da dadoula sisiga: sa lafia: lalobawane, baloga doaga: i. Be dabe adole iasu sia: da afae hame nabi.
And when midday was passed, and they had prophecied vntil the offring of the euening sacrifice, there was neither voyce, nor one to answere, nor any that regarded.
30 Amalalu, Ilaidia da dunu huluanema amane sia: i, “Nama gadenena misa.” Ilia da Ilaidiama gilisila misi. E da Hina Gode Ea oloda mugului, amo bu hahamoi.
And Eliiah said vnto all the people, Come to me. And all the people came to him. And he repayred the altar of the Lord that was broken downe.
31 E da gele fagoyale gala lai. Amo gele afae afae da Ya: igobe (Hina Gode da ema Isala: ili dio asuli) amo ea mano afae afae dawa: ma: ne, lai.
And Eliiah tooke twelue stones, according to the nomber of the tribes of the sonnes of Iaakob, (vnto whome the worde of the Lord came, saying, Israel shalbe thy name)
32 Amo gelega, e da Hina Godema nodone sia: ne gadosu oloda bu hahamoi. Oloda sisiga: le, e da hano logo amoga hano soga: sali amo nabai defei da 15 lida.
And with the stones he buylt an altar in the Name of the Lord: and he made a ditch round about the altar, as great as woulde conteine two measures of seede.
33 Amalu, e da oloda da: iya, lalu habei ligisili, bulamagau dasega: le, fofonobone dadamuni ligisi. E amane sia: i, “Dilia da osoboga hamoi ofodo bagade biyaduyale amoga hano dili, amo bulamagau gobele salimu amo da: iya amola lalu habei da: iya sogaga: la: ma.” Ilia da amo defele hamoi.
And he put the wood in order, and hewed the bullocke in pieces, and layd him on the wood,
34 E amane sia: i, “Bu hamoma!” Ilia da amane hamoi. E amane sia: i, “Bu hamoma!” Amola ilia da amane hamoi.
And said, Fill foure barrels with water, and powre it on the burnt offring and on the wood. Againe he said, Doe so againe. And they did so the second time. And he sayde, Doe it the third time. And they did it the third time.
35 Hano da gudu sa: ili, oloda sisiga: le, hano logo nabalesi.
And the water ran round about the altar: and he filled the ditch with water also.
And when they should offer the euening sacrifice, Eliiah the Prophet came, and sayd, Lord God of Abraham, Izhak and of Israel, let it be knowen this day, that thou art the God of Israel, and that I am thy seruant, and that I haue done all these things at thy commandement.
37 Baloga, ilia gobele salasu hamoma: ne ilegebe, balofede Ilaidia da oloda amoga asili, amane sia: ne gadoi, “Hina Gode! A: ibalaha: me amola Aisage amola Ya: igobe ilia Gode! Di da Isala: ili Godedafa, amola na da Dia hawa: hamosu dunu, amola na wali hamoi da Dia hamoma: ne sia: beba: le hamoi, Isala: ili dunu da amo huluane dafawaneyale dawa: ma: ne, Dia na adole ba: su sia: ne gadosu amoma dabe adole ima. Hina Gode! Nama bu adole ima. Isala: ili dunu da Di, Hina Gode, da Godedafa amola Di da ili Dima bu hiougilala, amo ilia da dawa: ma: ne, na sia: ne gadosu amo dabe adole ima.”
Heare me, O Lord, heare me, and let this people know that thou art the Lord God, and that thou hast turned their heart againe at the last.
38 Hina Gode da lalu gudu sanasi. Lalu da gobele salasu bulamagau amola lalu habei amola gele amola osobo huluane nene dagoi. Amola hano amo hano logo ganodini dialu amo huluane hafoga: i dagoi ba: i.
Then the fire of the Lord fell, and consumed the burnt offring, and the wood, and the stones, and the dust, and licked vp the water that was in the ditche.
39 Dunu huluane da amo hou ba: beba: le, ilisu osoba gala: la sa: i. Ilia amane wele sia: i, “Hina Gode da Godedafa! Hina Gode Hisu da Godedafa!”
And when all the people sawe it, they fell on their faces, and saide, The Lord is God, the Lord is God.
40 Ilaidia da amane hamoma: ne sia: i, “Ba: ile balofede dunu gagulaliligima! Dunu afae da maedafa hobeama: ma!” Isala: ili dunu da Ba: ile balofede dunu huluane gagulaliligi. Amola Ilaidia da ili oule, Gaisione Hanoga sa: ili, ili huluane fane lelegei.
And Elijah said vnto them, Take the prophets of Baal, let not a man of them escape. and they tooke them, and Eliiah brought them to the brooke Kishon, and slewe them there.
41 Amalalu, Ilaidia da hina bagade A: iha: bema amane sia: i, “Waha ha: i namasa! Na da gibu bagade olamabe naba!”
And Eliiah sayde vnto Ahab, Get thee vp, eate and drinke, for there is a sound of much rayne.
42 A: iha: be da ha: i na ahoanoba, Ilaidia da Gamele Goumi da: iya heda: le, beguduli, osoboga muguni adoba dialuma bugi.
So Ahab went vp to eate and to drinke, and Eliiah went vp to the top of Carmel: and he crouched vnto the earth, and put his face betweene his knees,
43 E da ea hawa: hamosu dunuma amane sia: i, “Di da asili, hano wayabo bagade amoga ba: le gama!” Ea hawa: hamosu dunu da amo ba: la asili, bu misini, amane sia: i, “Na da liligi hamedafa ba: i.” Ilaidia da ema fesuale agoane ba: la afufuma: ne sia: i.
And sayde to his seruant, Goe vp now and looke towarde the way of the Sea. And he went vp, and looked, and sayde, There is nothing. Againe he sayd, Goe againe seuen times.
44 E da afufulala fesu amoga ba: la asi, bu misini, amane sia: i, “Na da mobi fonobahadi, dunu ea lobo agoai, amo baligili hame, be agoai fawane hano wayabo gudunini gado heda: lebe ba: i.” Ilaidia da ea hawa: hamosu dunuma amane sia: i, “hina bagade A: iha: bema asili, ea masunu logo gibuga ga: sa: besa: le, ea ‘sa: liode’ lale, amo da: iya fila heda: le, hi diasua hedolo masa: ne sia: ma.”
And at the seuenth time he sayd, Behold, there ariseth a litle cloude out of the sea like a mans hand. Then he sayd, Vp, and say vnto Ahab, Make readie thy charet, and get thee downe, that the raine stay thee not.

And in the meane while the heauen was blacke with cloudes and winde, and there was a great rayne. Then Ahab went vp and came to Izreel.
46 Hina Bagade Gode Ea gasa da misini, Ilaidiama doaga: i. Ilaidia da ea abula hina: bulu ga: sua ha: gidafa idiniginanu, A:iha: be fa: nonesilalu, ea bisili hehenaiya ahoana, Yeseliele amoma doaga: i.
And the hand of the Lord was on Eliiah, and he girded vp his Ioynes, and ran before Ahab till he came to Izreel.
