1 Hina 15

1 Isala: ili fi ilia hina bagade Yelouboua: me da ode18 ouligilalu, Abaidia da Yuda fi ilia hina bagade hamoi.

And in the eighteenth year of King Jeroboam son of Nebat, Abijam has reigned over Judah;

2 E da ode udiana Yelusaleme moilai bai bagadega esala, Yuda fi ouligilalu. Ea ame da Ma: iaga (A: basolome ea idiwi).

he has reigned three years in Jerusalem, and the name of his mother [is] Maachah daughter of Abishalom;

3 E da ea ada ea wadela: i hou hamosu defele hamoi. Ea ada aowa Da: ibidi da mae fisili, Hina Godema fa: no bobogelalu. Be e da amo defele hame hamoi.

and he walks in all the sins of his father that he did before him, and his heart has not been perfect with his God YHWH, as the heart of his father David;

4 Be ea Hina Gode da Da: ibidima asigiba: le, Hina Gode da Abaidiama e bagia Yuda fi ilia hina dunu hamoma: ne amola Yelusaleme ganodini esaloma: ne amola gaga: ma: ne, Abaidiama mano i.

but for David’s sake his God YHWH has given to him a lamp in Jerusalem, to raise up his son after him, and to establish Jerusalem,

5 Hina Gode da agoane hamoi bai Da: ibidi da Ema nodoma: ne hamoi amola Ema Ea hamoma: ne sia: i amoga hame nabasu hou hame hamoi. E da hame nabasu hou afae fawane hamoi. Amo e da Iulaia (Hidaide dunu) ema fawane wadela: le hamoi.

in that David did that which [is] right in the eyes of YHWH, and did not turn aside from all that He commanded him all [the] days of his life—except in the matter of Uriah the Hittite;

6 Gegesu mui amo da Lihouboua: me amola Yelouboua: me ela ouligibi ganodini ba: i, amo da Abaidia ea esalusu amo galu gebewane gegenanusu.

and there has been war between Rehoboam and Jeroboam all the days of his life.

7 Amola Abaidia ea hamonanusu hou huluane da “Yuda hina bagade ilia Hamonanusu Meloa’ amo ganodini dedene legei.

And the rest of the matters of Abijam and all that he did, are they not written on the scroll of the Chronicles of the Kings of Judah? And there has been war between Abijam and Jeroboam;

8 Abaidia da bogobeba: le, Da: ibidi Moilai Bai Bagade amo ganodini uli dogone sali. Amola, egefe A: isa da e bagia, Yuda fi ilia hina bagade hamoi.

and Abijam lies with his fathers, and they bury him in the City of David, and his son Asa reigns in his stead.

9 Isala: ili hina bagade Yelouboua: me da ode 20 Isala: ili soge ouligilalu, A:isa da Yuda fi ilia hina bagade hamoi.

And in the twentieth year of Jeroboam king of Israel, Asa has reigned over Judah,

10 E da Yelusaleme moilai bai bagadega esala, ode 41agoanega, Isala: ili fi ouligilalu. Ea aya: da Ma: iga (A: basalome ea idiwi).

and he has reigned forty-one years in Jerusalem, and the name of his mother [is] Maachah daughter of Abishalom.

11 A: isa da Hina Gode Ea nodoma: ne, ea aowa Da: ibidi ea hamoi amo defele hamoi.

And Asa does that which [is] right in the eyes of YHWH, like his father David,

12 E da Yuda Soge ganodini hina: da: iga bidi lasu uda amola dunu huluane amo da ogogole ‘gode’ loboga hahamoi, ilima nodone sia: ne gadolalu, amo huluane gadili sefafasi. A: isa da ogogole loboga hamoi ‘gode’ ea adalalia hahamoi, amo huluane gadili fadegale fafasi.

and removes the whoremongers out of the land, and turns aside all the idols that his fathers made;

13 A: isa da ea aya: Ma: iga (e da ‘uda hina bagade eme’, ilia da sia: su) ea sogebi amo fadegai. Bai Ma: iga da gogosiasu bagade liligi (mano lama: ne ogogole uda ‘gode’, Asila ema sia: ne gadosu-amo agoaila) amo hahamoi. A: isa da amo loboga hamoi liligi amo dadamuni sanawene, Gidalone Fago amoga ulagili sali.

and also his mother Maachah—he turns her aside from being mistress, in that she made a horrible thing for an Asherah, and Asa cuts down her horrible thing, and burns [it] by the Brook of Kidron;

14 A: isa da ogogole ‘gode’ma nodone sia: ne gadosu sogebi bagohame mugului. Be mogili hame wadela: lesi. Be e da Hina Godema mololewane fa: no bobogelalu.

but the high places have not been removed; only, the heart of Asa has been perfect with YHWH [for] all his days,

15 E da Debolo diasu ganodini, liligi huluane ea ada da Godema ilegele i, amola gouli amola silifa liligi e da hisu Godema ilegele i, amo huluane Debolo diasu ganodini ligisi.

and he brings in the sanctified things of his father, and his own sanctified things, to the house of YHWH: silver, and gold, and vessels.

16 Yuda hina bagade A: isa amola Isala: ili hina bagade Ba: iasia da ela ouligibi amo ganodini, gebewane gegenanusu.

And there has been war between Asa and Baasha king of Israel [for] all their days,

17 Ba: iasia da Yuda soge doagala: le, golili sa: ili, e da Yuda gadili ahoasu logo ga: ma: ne, muni La: ima moilai gagili sali.

and Baasha king of Israel goes up against Judah, and builds Ramah, not to permit anyone going out and coming in to Asa king of Judah.

18 Amaiba: le, hina bagade A: isa da silifa amola gouli huluane Debolo amola hina bagade diasu amo ganodini hame lai dialebe ba: i, amo lale, ea eagene ouligisu dunu ilia Dama: saga: se moilai, Silia hina bagade Beneha: ida: de (Da: balimone egefe amola Hisione ea aowa) ema imunusa: gaguli masa: ne sia: i. Amola e da ilia ema amane sia: ma: ne sia: si,

And Asa takes all the silver and the gold that are left in the treasures of the house of YHWH, and the treasures of the house of the king, and gives them into the hand of his servants, and King Asa sends them to Ben-Hadad, son of Tabrimmon, son of Hezion king of Aram, who is dwelling in Damascus, saying,

19 “Ani da anianini, ania adalali defele, dogolegemu da defea. Amo silifa amola gouli da digili hahawane udigili iasu. Wali di amola Isala: ili hina bagade Ba: iasia alialisu gousa: su hamoi amo damuma. Amasea, e da ea dadi gagui dunu na soge ganodini asunasili esala, amo fadegale fasima.”

“A covenant [is] between me and you, between my father and your father; behold, I have sent a reward of silver and gold to you; go, break your covenant with Baasha king of Israel, and he goes up from off me.”

20 Hina bagade Beneha: ida: de da A: isa ea sia: i hahawane ba: i. Amaiba: le, e da ea dadi gagui wa: i ouligisu dunu amola dadi gagui dunu ilia Isala: ili moilale gagale fi amo ilima doagala: ma: ne, asunasi. And Ben-Hadad listens to King Asa, and sends the heads of the forces that he has against cities of Israel, and strikes Ijon, and Dan, and Abel-Beth-Maachah, and all Chinneroth, besides all the land of Naphtali;

21 Hina bagade Ba: iasia da amo hamoi sia: nababeba: le, La: ima moilai gagili salalu, amo yolesili, Desa moilai bai bagadega asi.

and it comes to pass at Baasha’s hearing, that he ceases from building Ramah, and dwells in Tirzah.

22 Amalalu, hina bagade A: isa da Yuda soge ganodini amo dunu huluanedafa da igi amola gele amoga Ba: iasia da La: ima gagili sali, amo gaguli masa: ne sia: si. Amo liligi lale, A:isa da Bediamini soge moilai Giba amola Misiba moilai, amo gagili sali.

And King Asa has summoned all Judah—there is none exempt—and they lift up the stones of Ramah, and its wood, that Baasha has built, and King Asa builds with them Geba of Benjamin, and Mizpah.

23 Hou huluane hina bagade A: isa hamoi, ea gesa: i hamonanu amola moilai bai bagade e da gagili sali, amo huluane da “Yuda hina bagade ilia Hamonanu Meloa” amo ganodini dedene legei. Be e da da: i hamobeba: le, e da olobeba: le, emo gasuga: igi.

And the rest of all the matters of Asa, and all his might, and all that he did, and the cities that he built, are they not written on the scroll of the Chronicles of the Kings of Judah? Only, at the time of his old age he was diseased in his feet;

24 A: isa da bogobeba: le, ilia da e hina bagade uli dogosu sogebi, Da: ibidi Moilai Bai Bagade, amo ganodini dogone sali. Amola egefe Yihosiafa: de e da A: isa e bagia hina bagade hou lai.

and Asa lies with his fathers, and is buried with his fathers in the city of his father David, and his son Jehoshaphat reigns in his stead.

25 Yuda hina bagade A: isa da ode ageyadu Yuda fi ouligilalu, Na: ida: be (hina bagade Yelouboua: me egefe) e da Isala: ili ouligisu hina bagade hamoi. E da ode aduna ouligilalu.

And Nadab son of Jeroboam has reigned over Israel, in the second year of Asa king of Judah, and he reigns over Israel two years,

26 E da ea ada ea hou defele, Hina Godema wadela: le hamoi. Amola e da Isala: ili dunu wadela: le hamoma: ne, oule asi.

and does evil in the eyes of YHWH, and goes in the way of his father, and in his sin that he made Israel to sin.

27 Ba: iasia (Isaga fi dunu amola Ahaidia egefe) e da Na: ida: be medomusa: , sadoga sia: dalu ilegei. Na: ida: be amola ea dadi gagui wa: i, ilia da Filisidini fi moilai bai bagade Gibidonega doagala: loba, Ba: iasia da Na: ida: be medole legei.

And Baasha son of Ahijah, of the house of Issachar, conspires against him, and Baasha strikes him in Gibbethon, which [belonged] to the Philistines—and Nadab and all Israel are laying siege against Gibbethon—

28 Amo hou da Yuda hina bagade A: isa ea ouligibi ode osodayale amoga ba: i. Amaiba: le, Ba: iasia da Na: ida: be bagia Yuda hina bagade hamoi.

indeed, Baasha puts him to death in the third year of Asa king of Judah, and reigns in his stead.

29 Ha amogalawane, e da muni Yelouboua: me ea sosogo fi medole lelegelalu. Hina Gode da Ea hawa: hamosu balofede dunu Ahaidia (Siailou moilai fi dunu) amo ea lafidili sia: i defele, Yelouboua: me ea sosogo fi dunu huluanedafa da medole legei dagoi ba: i.

And it comes to pass, at his reigning, he has struck the whole house of Jeroboam, he has not left any breathing to Jeroboam until his destroying him, according to the word of YHWH, that He spoke by the hand of His servant Ahijah the Shilonite,

30 Amo hou doaga: i ea bai da Yelouboua: me da Isala: ili Hina Gode ougima: ne, wadela: le bagade hamoi, amola Isala: ili fi wadela: le hamoma: ne oule asi.

because of the sins of Jeroboam that he sinned, and that he caused Israel to sin, by his provocation with which he provoked YHWH, God of Israel, to anger.

31 Na: ida: be ea hamoi huluane da “Isala: ili hina bagade ilia Hamonanusu Meloa” amo ganodini dedene legei.

And the rest of the matters of Nadab and all that he did, are they not written on the scroll of the Chronicles of the Kings of Israel?

32 Yuda hina bagade A: isa amola Isala: ili hina bagade Ba: iasia ela da elawa ouligisu eso amoga gebewane gegenanusu.

And there has been war between Asa and Baasha king of Israel [for] all their days.

33 Yuda hina bagade A: isa ea ouligibi ode osodayale ganodini, Ba: iasia (Ahaidia egefe) da Isala: ili ilia hina bagade hamoi. E da Desa amo ganodini esala, ode 24agoane ouligilalu.

In the third year of Asa king of Judah, Baasha son of Ahijah has reigned over all Israel in Tirzah, twenty-four years,

34 E da hina bagade Yelouboua: me ea hidadea hamoi defele, Hina Godema wadela: le hamonanu, amola Isala: ili fi wadela: le hamoma: ne oule asi.

and he does evil in the eyes of YHWH, and walks in the way of Jeroboam, and in his sin that he caused Israel to sin.
