1 Nowa da Yesu Gelesu da Gode Ea ilegei Mesaia amo dafawaneyale dawa: sea, amo da Gode Ea mano hamoi esala. Nowa da ada amoma asigi galea, e da amo ada ea mano amola amoma asigi gala.
Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him.
2 Ninia da Godema asigi galea amola Gode Ea sia: nabawane hamonanebeba: le, ninia da Gode Ea mano ilima asigisu dawa:
By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments.
3 Bai ninia Godema asigiba: le, Ea sia: nabawane hamosa. Amola Ea gasa bagade hamoma: ne sia: i ninima olelei da ninia hamomu gasa hame baligisa.
For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.
4 Bai Gode Ea mano huluane ilia osobo bagade hou hasalasimusa: dawa: Amola ninia da dafawaneyale dawa: su hou amoga osobo bagade hou hasalasimusa: dawa:
For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, [even] our faith.
5 Nowa da osobo bagade hou hasalasimu dawa: bela: ? Dunu amo da Yesu Gelesu da Gode Egefedafa amo dafawaneyale dawa: sa, amo dunu fawane da osobo bagade hou hasalasisu dawa: !
Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?
6 Yesu Gelesu Hisu osobo bagadega misini, hanoga fane sanasi amola Ea maga: me huluane asiba: le bogoi. E da hano fane sanasu dawa: digima: ne olelesu fawane hame hamoi. Be E da gilisili hano dawa: digima: ne olelesu amola maga: me dawa: digima: ne olelesu hamoi dagoi. This is he that came by water and blood, [even] Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is truth.
7 Ba: su liligi udiana da amo hou da dafawane ninima olelesa.
For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.
8 Amo udiana da Gode Ea A: silibu Hadigidafa Gala, hano dawa: digima: ne olelesu amola maga: me dawa: digima: ne olelesu. Amo udiana da ba: i liligi afadafa fawane olelesa.
And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one.
9 Osobo bagade ba: su dunu amo ea sia: ninia dafawaneyale dawa: sa. Be Gode Ea ba: su hou da osobo bagade dunu ea ba: su hou bagadewane baligisa. Amola Gode Ea ba: su hou da Yesu Gelesu da Egefedafa olelesa.
If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater: for this is the witness of God which he hath testified of his Son.
10 Amaiba: le, nowa dunu da Gode Egefedafa dafawaneyale dawa: sea, amo dunu da Gode Ea ba: su hou ea dogo ganodini sali diala. Be nowa dunu da Gode dafawaneyale hame dawa: sa, e da Gode Egefedafa hou olelema: ne sia: i amo dafawaneyale hame dawa: beba: le, e da Gode da ogogosu dunu sia: sa.
He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son.
11 Gode Ea ba: su hou da agoane diala; Gode da ninima eso huluane mae bogole Fifi Ahoanusu i dagoi. Amola eso huluane mae bogole Fifi Ahoanusu ea Bai da Gode Egefedafa. (aiōnios g166)
And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. (aiōnios g166)
12 Nowa da Gode Egefedafa Ema madelagi galea, e da eso huluane mae bogole Fifi Ahoanusu lai dagoi. Be nowa da Gode Egefedafa amoma hame madelagi galea, e da eso huluane mae bogole Fifi Ahoanusu hame dawa:
He that hath the Son hath life; [and] he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.
13 Dilia Gode Egefedafa amo ea hou dafawaneyale dawa: be dunu, dilia da eso huluane mae bogole Fifi Ahoanusu lai dagoi amo dafawaneyale dawa: ma: ne, na da dilima amo meloa dedesa. (aiōnios g166)
These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God. (aiōnios g166)
14 Ninia da Gode Ea hanai amo defele Ema adole ba: sea, E da nini adole ba: su naba amo dawa: beba: le, ninia mae beda: iwane Godema gadenenewane misunusa: dawa:
And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us:
15 Ninia da Ema adole ba: sea, E da nini adole ba: su naba. Ninia amo da dafawane dawa: beba: le, E da ninia adole ba: i liligi ninima imunu, amo amola dafawaneyale dawa: be.
And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.
16 Dilia da Gelesu dunu eno e da wadela: i hou (amo da hame se imunusa: fofada: mu liligi) amo hamoi ba: sea, Godema sia: ne gadomu da defea. Amasea, Gode da amo dunuma esalusu bu imunu. Dunu da wadela: i hou hamosea, be amo da se imunusa: fofada: musa: liligi hame ba: sea, amane hamoma. Be wadela: i hou afadafa da se imunusa: fofada: su liligi. Amo ba: sea, dilia da Godema gogolema: ne olofomusa: sia: ne gadoma: ne, na da hame sia: sa.
If any man see his brother sin a sin [which is] not unto death, he shall ask, and he shall give him life for them that sin not unto death. There is a sin unto death: I do not say that he shall pray for it.
17 Wadela: i hou huluanedafa da wadela: i houdafa. Be wadela: i hou mogili da se imunusa: fofada: su liligi hame.
All unrighteousness is sin: and there is a sin not unto death.
18 Godema bu lalelegei mano da wadela: i hou hamonanumu da hamedei, amo ninia dawa: Bai Gode Egefe da amo mano noga: le gaga: sa. Amaiba: le, Sa: ida: ne da amo dunu wadela: mu hamedei ba: sa.
We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not.
19 Sa: ida: ne da osobo bagade fifi asi gala dunu huluane ilima ouligisu esala. Be ninia da ema afafane, Godema madelagi dagoi, amo dawa:
[And] we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness.
20 Gode Egefe da misi dagoi. Amola ninia da Gode Egefedafa amo noga: le dawa: ma: ne, E da dawa: su hou ninima i, amo dawa: Ninia da Godedafa - Egefe Yesu Gelesu, Ema madelagi esala. Ninia Gode da Godedafa amola amo hou da eso huluane mae bogole Fifi Ahoanusu. (aiōnios g166)
And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, [even] in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life. (aiōnios g166)
21 Na mano! Dilia ogogosu ‘gode’ liligi mae dawa: ma. Sia: Ama Dagoi
Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen.
