1 Na mano! Dilia da wadela: i hou mae hamoma: ne, na da dilima dedesa. Be dunu da wadela: i hou hamoi galea, Alofesu Fidisu dunu da esala. Amo da Yesu Gelesu, Dunu Moloidafa. E da nini fidima: ne, Godema edegelala.
My dear children! these things, am I writing unto you, in order that ye may not be committing sin. And, if anyone should commit sin, an Advocate, have we, with the Father, Jesus Christ, the Righteous;
2 Amola Gelesu Hisu da hamobeba: le, ninia da nini wadela: i hou gogolema: ne olofoi dagoi ba: sa. Ninia fawane hame, be osobo bagade dunu huluane da Gelesu hamobeba: le, gogolema: ne olofosu dawa:
And, he, is, a propitiation, concerning our sins, —and, not concerning our own only, but, also concerning those of the whole world.
3 Ninia da Gode Ea sia: nabawane hamosa galea, ninia da Gode dawa: dagoi, amo dawa: be.
And, hereby, perceive we, that we understand him, —if, his commandments, we are keeping.
4 Be nowa dunu da Gode dawa: amo hi fawane sia: sa, be Gode Ea sia: nabawane hame hamosa, amo dunu da ogogosu dunu. E da dafawane hou hamedafa dawa:
He that saith—I understand him! And, his commandments, is not keeping, is false, and, in him, the truth is not!
5 Be nowa da Gode Ea sia: nabawane hamosa, amo dunu ea dogo ganodini Gode Ea asigidafa hou da nabaiwane gala ba: sa. Ninia da Godema madelagi dagoi amo habodane dawa: ma: bela: ?
But whosoever may be keeping his word, of a truth, in this man, the love of God hath been made perfect. Hereby, perceive we, that, in him, we are.
6 Defea! Nowa dunu e da Godema madelagi dagoi sia: sea, e da Yesu Gelesu Ea hou amo defele ahoanumu da defea.
He that saith, that, in him, he abideth, ought, just as He walked, himself also, to be walking.
7 Na fi dunu! Na da wali dilima hamoma: ne sia: i dedesa. Amo hamoma: ne sia: i da gaheabolodafa hame. Be dilia Gode Ea hou lalegagui amo esoga musa: hamoma: ne sia: i nabalu, wali eso amo hamoma: ne sia: i da amaiwane diala.
Beloved! no new commandment, am I writing unto you; but an old commandment, which ye have been holding from the beginning: The old commandment is the word which ye have heard.
8 Be amo hamoma: ne sia: i na da wali dilima dedebe da gaheabolo agoane ba: sa. Yesu Gelesu da moloiwane hamoiba: le amola dilia da wali moloiwane hamonanebeba: le, amo hamoma: ne sia: i da dafawane ba: sa. Gasi da mugululalebe amola Hadigidafa da nenanebe, amoba: le amo hamoma: ne sia: i da gaheabolo agoane ba: sa.
Again, a new commandment, am I writing unto you, —which thing is true, in him and in you, because, the darkness, is passing away, and, the real light, already is shining.
9 Nowa dunu e da Hadigi ganodini esalebe sia: sa, be ea fi dunuma ha lai esala galea, amo dunu da gasi mae yolesili waha amo ganodini esala.
He that saith he is, in the light, and hateth, his brother, is, in the darkness, until even now!
10 Nowa dunu da ea fi dunu ilima asigidafa galea, amo da Hadigi ganodini esala. Amaiba: le, ea hou ganodini, eno dunuma dafama: ne olelesu da hame ba: sa.
He that loveth his brother, is abiding, in the light, and, cause of stumbling, in him, is there none.
11 Be nowa dunu da ea fi dunuma ha lai esalea, e da gasi ganodini esala. Gasi da ea si wadela: lesiba: le, e da gasi ganodini ahoanebeba: le, ea mabe hou hamedafa dawa:
Whereas, he that hateth his brother, in the darkness, dwelleth, and in the darkness, walketh; and knoweth not whither he is drifting, because the, darkness, hath blinded his eyes.
12 Na mano fonobahadi! Na dilima meloa dedesu bai da agoane diala. Yesu Gelesu da hawa: hamobeba: le, Gode da dilia wadela: i hou gogolema: ne olofoi dagoi.
I write unto you, dear children, because your sins have been forgiven you, for the sake of his name:
13 Ada dili huluane! Degabodafa esalu Dunu, amo dilia dawa: beba: le, na da dilima meloa dedesa. Ayeligi dunu! Dilia Sa: ida: ne hasali dagoiba: le, na da dilima meloa dedesa.
I write unto you, fathers, because ye understand him who was from the beginning: I write unto you, young men, because ye have overcome the wicked one. I have written unto you, little children, because ye understand the Father:
14 Na mano! Dilia Adadafa dawa: beba: le, na dilima meloa dedesa. Ada dili huluane! Degabodafa esalu Dunu, amo dilia da dawa: beba: le, na da dilima meloa dedesa. Ayeligi dunu! Dilia da gasa bagadeba: le, na da dilima meloa dedesa. Gode Ea Sia: da dilia dogo ganodini esala. Dilia da Sa: ida: ne hasali dagoi.
I have written unto you, fathers, because ye understand him who was from the beginning: I have written you, young men, because ye are, strong, and the word of God, within you, abideth, and ye have overcome the wicked one.
15 Dilia osobo bagade amola amo ganodini liligi, amoma mae asigima. Dilia da osobo bagade liligi amoma asigi galea, dilia da Adadafa Ema hame asigisa.
Be not loving the world, nor yet the things that are in the world: if anyone be loving the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
16 Hi hanai hou, dunu ilia liligi siga ba: beba: le hanasa amo hou amola liligi huluane ba: beba: le gasa fi hamosa, amo hou huluane da osobo bagade hou fawane. Amo hou Adadafa da hame olelesa.
Because, all that is in the world—the coveting of the flesh, the coveting of the eyes, and the vain grandeur of life—is not of the Father, but is, of the world;
17 Osobo bagade amola amo ganodini liligi huluane amoma dunu ilia da hanai, amo da bu mae ba: ma: ne mugululala. Be nowa dunu da Gode Ea hanai hou hamosa, e da eso huluane esalalalumu. (aiōn g165)
And, the world, passeth away, and the coveting [thereof], but, he that doeth the will of God, endureth unto times age-abiding. (aiōn g165)
18 Na mano! Soge wadela: mu eso da gadenesa. Gelesuma ha lai dunu da misunu, amo olelesu dilia da nabi dagoi. Wali, Gelesuma ha lai dunu bagohame da misi dagoiba: le, soge wadela: mu eso da gadenesa, amo ninia dawa:
Little children! it is, the last hour; and, just as ye have heard that, an antichrist, is coming, even now, antichrists have become, many, whence we perceive that it is, the last hour:
19 Amo Gelesuma ha lai dunu da ninia fi amo ganodini esalu. Be ilia da ninia fidafa dunu hameba: le, yolesili asi. Ilia da ninia fidafa dunu esala ganiaba, ilia da ninia fi ganodini mae yolesili esalala: loba. Be ilia yolesili asiba: le, dunu huluane da amo dunu da ninia fi dunu hame amo noga: le dawa:
From among us, they went out, but they were not of us; for, if, of us, they had been, they would in that case have abode with us; but [it came to pass] in order that they might be made manifest, because, all, are not of us.
20 Be Gelesu da Gode Ea A: silibu Hadigidafa Gala dilia dogo ganodini aligila sa: ima: ne, dilima i dagoi. Amaiba: le, dilia huluane da dafawane sia: dawa:
And, ye, have, an anointing, from the Holy One, —Ye all, know:
21 Amaiba: le, dilia dafawane hou hame dawa: beba: le, na da dilima hame dedesa. Be dilia dafawane sia: dawa: beba: le amola ogogosu sia: da dafawane hou amo ganodini dialumu da hamedeiba: le, na da dilima meloa dedesa.
I have not written unto you because ye know not the truth, but because ye know it, and because, no falsehood, is, of the truth.
22 Amaiba: le, ogogosu dunu da nowala: ? Nowa dunu da Yesu da Gode Ea ilegei Mesaia hame, amo sia: sea, amo dunu da ogogosa. Agoaiwane dunu da Gelesuma ha lai dunu. E da Adadafa amola Gode Egefe higasa.
Who, is the False One; —save he that denieth that, Jesus, is the Christ? The same, is the Antichrist, —he that denieth the Father and the Son.
23 Nowa dunu da Gode Egefe higasea, e da Ada amola higasa. Be nowa dunu da Gode Egefe Ea hou lalegagusia, e da Gode Ea hou amola lalegagusa.
Whosoever denieth the Son, neither hath he, the Father: He that confesseth the Son, hath, the Father also.
24 Amaiba: le, dawa: ma! Dilia sia: amo dilia lalegagui eso amoga nabi, amo dilia dogo ganodini noga: le salali ouligima. Amo noga: le ouligisia, dilia da eso huluane Gode Egefe amola Adadafa, amoma madelagili esalalalumu.
As for you, what ye have heard from the beginning, in you, let it abide. If, in you, shall abide, that which, from the beginning, ye have heard, ye also, in the Son, and [in] the Father, shall abide.
25 Amo hou da Gelesu ninima imunu sia: i liligi, amo eso huluane mae bogole Fifi Ahoanusu. (aiōnios g166)
And, this, is the promise, which he hath promised unto us, —The age-abiding life. (aiōnios g166)
26 Dilima ogogomusa: dawa: be dunu amo ilia hou dilima olelema: ne, na da amo meloa dilima dedesa.
These things, have I written unto you, concerning them who would lead you astray.
27 Be Gelesu da Ea A: silibu dilima i. Ea A: silibu da dilia dogo ganodini esalebeba: le, dunu eno da dilima olelemu hamedei agoane ba: sa. A: silibu Hisu da liligi huluane dilima olelesa. A: silibu Ea olelesu da dafawane, E da ogogosu hame dawa: Amaiba: le, A:silibu Ea olelesu nabima. Dilia Yesu Gelesuma madelagiwane esaloma.
And, as for you, the anointing which ye have received from him, abideth in you, and ye have, no need, that anyone be teaching you; but, as, his anointing, is teaching you, and is, true, and is no falsehood, even just as it hath taught you, abide ye in him.
28 Dafawane! Na mano! Gelesuma madelagiwane ouesaloma. Amalalu, E da bu masea ninia da mae beda: iwane amola hame gogosiabeba: le mae wamoaligiliwane, Ema hahawane yosia: mu.
And, now, dear children, abide ye in him, in order that, if he be made manifest, we may have boldness, and not be shamed away from him by his presence.
29 Gelesu da moloidafa, amo dilia dawa: Amaiba: le, nowa da hou moloidafa hamosea da Gode Ea mano hamoi, amo dilia dawa: mu da defea.
If ye know that he is, righteous, ye perceive that—whosoever doeth righteousness, of him, hath been born.
