< Mateo 22 >

1 Orduan Iesus ihardesten çuela, berriz minça cequién comparationez, cioela.
And Jesus answered and spake again in parables unto them, saying,
2 Comparatu da ceruètaco resumá, bere semearen ezteyac eguin cituen regue batequin.
The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a certain king, which made a marriage feast for his son,
3 Eta igor citzan bere cerbitzariac ezteyetara gomitatuén deitzera: baina etziraden ethorri nahi içan.
and sent forth his servants to call them that were bidden to the marriage feast: and they would not come.
4 Berriz igor ceçan berce cerbitzariric, cioela, Erreçue gomitatuey, Huná, apprestatu dut neure barazcaria, ene cecenac eta haraquey guicenduac haraqueitatu dirade, eta gucia prest da: çatozte ezteyetara.
Again he sent forth other servants, saying, Tell them that are bidden, Behold, I have made ready my dinner: my oxen and my fatlings are killed, and all things are ready: come to the marriage feast.
5 Baina hec conturic eguin gabe ioan citecen: bata bere bordarat, eta bercea bere merkatalgoarát.
But they made light of it, and went their ways, one to his own farm, another to his merchandise:
6 Eta bercéc hatzamanic haren cerbitzariac iniuria eta hil citzaten.
and the rest laid hold on his servants, and entreated them shamefully, and killed them.
7 Eta regue ençunic hori asserré cedin: eta igorriric bere gendarmesac, deseguin citzan guicerhaile hec, eta hayen hiria erra ceçan.
But the king was wroth; and he sent his armies, and destroyed those murderers, and burned their city.
8 Orduan dioste bere cerbitzariey, Ezteyac prest badirade, baina gomitatu ciradenac, eztirade digne içan.
Then saith he to his servants, The wedding is ready, but they that were bidden were not worthy.
9 Çoazte bada bide cantoinetara, eta eridenen dituçuen guciac dei itzaçue ezteyetara.
Go ye therefore unto the partings of the highways, and as many as ye shall find, bid to the marriage feast.
10 Eta cerbitzari hec ilkiric bidetara, bil citzaten eriden cituzten guciac, hambat gaichtoac nola onac: eta bethe cedin ezteyén lekua, mahainean iarriric ceudenéz.
And those servants went out into the highways, and gathered together all as many as they found, both bad and good: and the wedding was filled with guests.
11 Eta sarthu cenean regue mahainean iarriric ceudenén ikustera, ikus ceçan han guiçombat eztey arropaz veztitua etzenic.
But when the king came in to behold the guests, he saw there a man which had not on a wedding-garment:
12 Orduan diotsa, Adisquideá, nola huna sarthu aiz eztey arropá eztuala? Eta ahoa boça cequión.
and he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding-garment? And he was speechless.
13 Orduan erran ciecén reguec cerbitzariey, Oinetan eta escuetan estecaturic, ken eçaçue, eta egotzaçue campoco ilhumbera: han içanen da nigar eta hortz garrascots.
Then the king said to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and cast him out into the outer darkness; there shall be the weeping and gnashing of teeth.
14 Ecen anhitz dirade deithuac, eta guti elegituac.
For many are called, but few chosen.
15 Orduan appartaturic Phariseuéc conseillu har ceçaten nola hura hatzaman liroiten hitzean.
Then went the Pharisees, and took counsel how they might ensnare him in [his] talk.
16 Eta igorten dituzte harengana bere discipuluac Herodianoequin, dioitela, Magistruá, baceaquiagu eguiati aicela, eta Iaincoaren bidea eguiazqui iracasten duála, eta nehoren ansiaric eztuála: ecen ezago guiçonén apparentiara behá:
And they send to him their disciples, with the Herodians, saying, Master, we know that thou art true, and teachest the way of God in truth, and carest not for any one: for thou regardest not the person of men.
17 Erraguc bada, cer irudi çaic? bidezco da Cesari tributaren emaitea, ala ez?
Tell us therefore, What thinkest thou? Is it lawful to give tribute unto Caesar, or not?
18 Eta eçaguturic Iesusec hayen malitiá, dio, Cergatic tentatzen nauçue hypocritac?
But Jesus perceived their wickedness, and said, Why tempt ye me, ye hypocrites?
19 Eracustaçue tributeco monedá. Eta hec presenta cieçoten dinerobat.
Shew me the tribute money. And they brought unto him a penny.
20 Eta erraiten draue, Norena da imagina haur eta scribua?
And he saith unto them, Whose is this image and superscription?
21 Diotsate, Cesarena. Orduan erraten draue, Renda ietzoçue beraz Cesaren diradenac, Cesari: eta Iaincoaren diradenac, Iaincoari.
They say unto him, Caesar’s. Then saith he unto them, Render therefore unto Caesar the things that are Caesar’s; and unto God the things that are God’s.
22 Eta hori ençunic, mirets ceçaten: eta hura vtziric ioan citecen.
And when they heard it, they marveled, and left him, and went their way.
23 Egun hartan ethor citecen harengana Sadduceuac, resurrectioneric eztela dioitenac, eta interroga ceçaten,
On that day there came to him Sadducees, which say that there is no resurrection: and they asked him,
24 Cioitela, Magistruá, Moysesec erran dic, Baldin norbeit hil bada haourric vkan gabe, haren anayeac aliançagatic harturen du haren emaztea, eta leinu eguinen drauca bere anayeri.
saying, Master, Moses said, If a man die, having no children, his brother shall marry his wife, and raise up seed unto his brother.
25 Eta cituán gure artean çazpi anaye: eta lehena ezconduric hil ciedián: eta leinuric etzuenaren gainean, vtzi cieçoan bere emaztea bere anayeri.
Now there were with us seven brethren: and the first married and deceased, and having no seed left his wife unto his brother;
26 Eta halaber bigarrenac eta hirurgarrenac, çazpigarrenerano.
in like manner the second also, and the third, unto the seventh.
27 Eta gucién ondoan hil ciedián emaztea-ere.
And after them all the woman died.
28 Resurrectionean bada, çazpietaric ceinen emazte içanen da? ecen guciéc vkan dié hura.
In the resurrection therefore whose wife shall she be of the seven? for they all had her.
29 Eta ihardesten duela Iesusec dioste, Huts eguiten duçue Scripturác eta Iaincoaren verthutea iaquin gabez.
But Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God.
30 Ecen resurrectionean eztu nehorc emazteric hartzen ez emaiten ezconçaz: baina dirade Iaincoaren Aingueruäc ceruän beçala.
For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as angels in heaven.
31 Eta hilén resurrectioneaz den becembatean, eztuçue iracurri cer Iaincoaz erran içan çaiçuen, dioela,
But as touching the resurrection of the dead, have ye not read that which was spoken unto you by God, saying,
32 Ni naiz Abrahamen Iaincoa, eta Isaac-en Iaincoa, eta Iacob-en Iaincoa? Iaincoa, ezta hilén Iaincoa, baina viciena.
I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob? God is not [the God] of the dead, but of the living.
33 Eta hori ençunic gendetzeac spanta citecen haren doctrináz.
And when the multitudes heard it, they were astonished at his teaching.
34 Phariseuac bada, ençunic ecen Sadduceuac ichildu cituela, bil citecen elkargana.
But the Pharisees, when they heard that he had put the Sadducees to silence, gathered themselves together.
35 Eta interroga ceçan hetaric batec, Legueco doctorac, tentatzen çuela hura, eta cioela,
And one of them, a lawyer, asked him a question, tempting him,
36 Magistruá, cein da manamendu handia Leguean?
Master, which is the great commandment in the law?
37 Eta Iesusec erran cieçón, Onhetsiren duc eure Iainco Iauna eure bihotz guciaz, eta eure arima guciaz, eta eure pensamendu guciaz.
And he said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
38 Haur duc manamendu lehena eta handia.
This is the great and first commandment.
39 Eta bigarrenac hura irudi dic, Onhetsiren duc eure hurcoa eure buruä beçala.
And a second like [unto it] is this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
40 Bi manamendu hautaric Legue gucia eta Prophetác dependitzen dituc.
On these two commandments hangeth the whole law, and the prophets.
41 Eta bildu ciradenean Phariseuac, interroga citzan Iesusec,
Now while the Pharisees were gathered together, Jesus asked them a question,
42 Cioela, Cer irudi çaiçue Christez? noren seme da? Diotsate, Dauid-en.
saying, What think ye of the Christ? whose son is he? They say unto him, [The son] of David.
43 Eta dioste, Nola beraz Dauid-ec Spirituz deitzen du hura Iaun? dioela,
He saith unto them, How then doth David in the Spirit call him Lord, saying,
44 Erran drauca, Iaunac ene Iaunari, Iar adi ene escuinean, eçar ditzaquedano hire etsayac hire oinén scabella.
The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, Till I put thine enemies underneath thy feet?
45 Beraz baldin Dauid-ec deitzen badu hura Iaun, nola da haren seme?
If David then calleth him Lord, how is he his son?
46 Eta nehorc ecin ihardets cieçoyon hitzic: ez nehor etzequión ventura guehiagoric egun harçaz harat interrogatzera.
And no one was able to answer him a word, neither durst any man from that day forth ask him any more questions.
