1 Paul Iaincoaren vorondatez Iesus Christen Apostoluac Iesus Christ Iaunean Ephesen diraden sainduey eta fideley:
PAUL, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, to the saints which are at Ephesus, and to the faithful in Christ Jesus:
2 Gratia dela çuequin eta baquea Iainco gure Aitaganic, eta Iesus Christ Iaunaganic.
Grace be to you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.
3 Laudatu dela Iaincoa cein baita Iesus Christ gure Iaunaren Aita, ceinec benedicatu baiquaitu benediçoin spiritual gucian, ceruètan Christ baithan:
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:
4 Nola elegitu vkan baiquaitu hartan mundua funda cedin baino lehen, saindu guinençat eta irreprehensible haren aitzinean charitatez:
According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:
5 Ceinec predestinatu vkan baiquaitu bere baithan adopta guençançát Iesus Christez, bere vorondatearen placer onaren araura,
Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,
6 Bere gratiazco gloriaren laudoriotan, ceinez bere gogaraco eguin baiquaitu bere maitean.
To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.
7 Ceinetan baitugu redemptionea haren odolaz, cein baita bekatuén barkamendua haren gratiazco abrastassunaren araura:
In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;
8 Ceinetaric gaindi eraguin baitu abundosqui gure gainera sapientia eta intelligentia gucitan:
Wherein he hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence;
9 Guri eçagut eraciric bere vorondatearen mysterioa, bere placer onaren araura, cein lehendanic ordenatu baitzuen bere baithan:
Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself:
10 Demborén complimenduaren dispensationean gucién elkargana biltzera Christean, hambat ceruètan diradenén nola lurrean, hura bera baithan:
That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him:
11 Ceinetan eguin-ere baicara haren heretage, predestinatu içanic, haren ordenançaren araura, ceinec gauça guciac eguiten baititu bere vorondateco conseilluaren araura.
In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:
12 Haren gloriaren laudoriotaco garençát, lehenetaric Christ baithan sperança vkan dugunoc.
That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.
13 Ceinetan çuec-ere sperança vkan baituçue eguiazco hitza ençun vkanic, cein baita, çuen saluamendutaco Euangelioa: ceinetan sinhetsi-ere vkanic, ciguilatu içan baitzarete promessaren Spiritu sainduaz:
In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,
14 Cein baita gure heretagearen errésa, haren possessione conquestatuaren redemptionerano haren gloriaren laudoriotan.
Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.
15 Halacotz ni-ere ençunic Iesus Iaunean duçuen fedea, eta saindu gucietaraco charitatea,
Wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and love unto all the saints,
16 Eznaiz guelditzen çuengatic gratién rendatzetic, mentione çueçaz eguiten dudala neure othoitzetan.
Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers;
17 Iesus Christ gure Iaunaren Iaincoac, Aita gloriazcoac diçuençát sapientiataco eta reuelationetaco Spiritua, haren eçagutzearen vkaiteco:
That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:
18 Çuen adimenduco beguiac illuminaturic: daquiçuençát ceric den haren vocationearen sperançá, eta ceric den haren heretageco gloriaren abrastassuna sainduetan:
The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,
19 Eta ceric den haren botherearen handitassun excellenta sinhesten dugunotara, haren bothere borthitzaren operationez,
And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power,
20 Cein eracutsi vkan baitu Christ baithan, hura hiletaric resuscitaturic eta iar eraciric bere escuinean ceruètan,
Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places,
21 Principaltassun, eta puissança, eta verthute, eta dominatione ororen garayan, eta ez solament secula hunetan baina ethortecoan-ere aippatzen den icen ororen garayan. (aiōn g165)
Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come: (aiōn g165)
22 Eta gauça guciac haren oinén azpico suiet eguin vkan ditu, eta bera eçarri vkan du gauça ororen garayan Eliçaren buru içateco:
And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church,
23 Cein baita haren gorputz, eta gauça guciac gucietan complitzen dituenaren complimendu.
Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.
