< Luka 24 >

1 Ki kwomje kikume kume niberece cin bo tuwenim, cinbouki kulen tuika kuneko ficang ficang woci ywelleu.
Now upon the first [day] of the week, very early in the morning, they came to the sepulcher, bringing the spices which they had prepared, and certain [others] with them.
2 Ci fiya tero tun ken tunngen cunge tuwek.
And they found the stone rolled away from the sepulcher.
3 Cin doken morece, dilaci fiyabo bwi Yeecu.
And they entered in, and found not the body of the Lord Jesus.
4 Inbwiu kambo cimor kwobtangka dikekebwiuweri, nubo yob tirarim kabumci ki kulendo fuwe cukcukke.
And it came to pass, as they were much perplexed at this, behold, two men stood by them in shining garments.
5 La natubowo cunken ki dorciro bitine worintai, cin yo natuno, “yebwi komdo nikidumeti nor buware?
And as they were afraid, and bowed down [their] faces to the earth, they said to them, Why seek ye the living among the dead?
6 Manifo lan kwennum! kambo ci yimko ker ki kwamawo ci Galili, intoki,
He is not here, but is risen. Remember how he spoke to you when he was yet in Galilee,

Saying, The Son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.
8 La natubo kwaki kercero!
And they remembered his words,
9 Lacin dubom tuweu cin yilakeng laciyi kwobculombo winneuwuro dekero birombo kanngu tangneu gwamm.
And returned from the sepulcher, and told all these things to the eleven, and to all the rest.

It was Mary Magdalene, and Joanna, and Mary [the mother] of James, and other [women that were] with them, who told these things to the apostles.
11 Dila nobtoman'ngebcebo tu kero muni kebo diker maka nangenek, dila cinebo bilinke natubowonin.
And their words seemed to them as idle tales, and they believed them not.

Then Peter arose, and ran to the sepulcher, and stooping down, he beheld the linen clothes laid by themselves, and departed, wondering in himself at that which had come to pass.
13 Kikakucori, inwonyo yob wo more yakanti cinarloro kan'nge dende Imawu wuro kutankaceko nan.
And behold, two of them went that same day to a village called Emmaus, which was from Jerusalem [about] sixty furlongs.
14 Citi fuwakan'ngi ko bwitici kangediwo yaa bwiweu.
And they talked together of all these things which had happened.
15 Yilam kambo ci fuwakamti wari kange meka kerekeri, Yeecu ki bwico boubidom cinen yakenti kanyeci.
And it came to pass, that, while they communed [together], and reasoned, Jesus himself drew near, and went with them.
16 La nuweceu dolbo nyobkaceko.
But their eyes were held, that they should not know him.
17 “Yeecu yici, inye kom tokkerti dorcere kambo kom yakentiyeu?” Cintinwifiyeco laci cii bwatumbotiwi.
And he said to them, What manner of communications [are] these that ye have one to another, as ye walk, and are sad?
18 Kaci tun kan'nge morece nendo kiliyobac, lan ciya cinen, “Mwowin cwar niwo Wurcalima wo nyombo dike birombo bwiuwe firen kikabake ki kumenicuo?
And one of them, whose name was Cleopas, answering, said to him, Art thou only a stranger in Jerusalem, and hast not known the things which have come to pass there in these days?
19 Yeecu yico, “bikulentito wini?” Cin ciyaco, dikerotin kan'nge Yeecu bwe Nazaret, wuro buwe tomanye, woki dikerotinimbo dur, kan'nge kertinimbo dur fiye kwama wiyeu kan'nge nob.
And he said to them, What things? And they said to him, Concerning Jesus of Nazareth, who was a prophet mighty in deed and word before God, and all the people:
20 Ki ciyaka nob wabero dur kan'nge nob li yareb nyebo ci nekenco naci warco naci kulkentencotak.
And how the chief priests and our rulers delivered him to be condemned to death, and crucified him.
21 Dila nyin yoner nyiki cowo a cer Icerelatiyeu. Nyo, nobo nawori, naweu kume Taar dikero birombo bwiuwe.
But we trusted that it had been he who would have redeemed Israel: and besides all this, to-day is the third day since these things were done.
22 Dila aa di duweno kowo, kamnyum natubembo nyi wariyeu ma nyinen diker nyimankartinim, ki yancimbo tuwe kiburiceu.
Yes, and certain women also of our company made us astonished, who were early at the sepulcher.
23 Kambo ci fiyabo bwiceri, cinbom, ciki cikeneu cinto dukum nobtomanyebo burombo yici ki wi kedume.
And when they found not his body, they came, saying, that they had also seen a vision of angels, who said that he was alive.
24 Kannyum nabarob wuro wari kannye nyeu cinya tuwenin, yafi kwabti nawo natubo tokeu. Dila ci tocibo.
And certain of them who were with us, went to the sepulcher, and found [it] even so as the women had said: but him they saw not.
25 Yeecu yici ki, “Kom nob kuleneb nubo nebo bilinke dor dikero nob tomanyeb dukumebo tokeu!
Then he said to them, O fools, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken!
26 Yilabokang kiritti anuwa dotannge dikero biromba, laken mor duktang kaka?”
Ought not Christ to suffer these things, and to enter into his glory?
27 Dila kikab wi mucanim yaken ciko nobtoma'ngobonin kwarub. Yeecu futang cinen dikero kaminge co. Wibe fumertinimbonin gwamm.
And beginning at Moses, and all the prophets, he expounded to them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself.
28 Kambo cilam cinar loroce fiye ci yakenti wuyeri cabunane Yeecu maa nadike muncan cuken.
And they drew nigh to the village whither they were going: and he made as though he would go further.
29 Dila cin dokco ki, “yiken kan'ngeci, wori wori meu dadom kakuko do dikati. “La Yeecu ya yiken kan'nge ci.
But they constrained him, saying, Abide with us: for it is towards evening, and the day is far spent. And he went in to tarry with them.
30 Bwiuki, kambo ciyiken ci naci cacarite, intu Tiilita, kambo ci yoten bibuyer wiyeri, kiyannyi, lanneci.
And it came to pass, as he sat at table with them, he took bread, and blessed [it], and broke, and gave to them.

And their eyes were opened, and they knew him: and he vanished out of their sight.
32 Cin yi butice, wendi mani twirangbobo mornerber, kambo citok keroti kan'ngebo dor nurereu, kambo ci wombinen bifumertinnimbeu?”
And they said one to another, Did not our heart burn within us while he talked with us by the way, and while he opened to us the scriptures?
33 Lacin kweni ki kwamaco, cin yiken wurcalima. Cinfiya culombo wineuwo wari, kan'nge birombo ciwari kan'nge ciyeu,
And they rose the same hour, and returned to Jerusalem, and found the eleven assembled, and them that were with them,
34 “Ki, kibicom kwama kwenum, inbow cimanin”.
Saying, The Lord is risen indeed, and hath appeared to Simon.
35 Laci tok dikero birombo bwiu nureu, kan'nge kambo ci fwetang cinen Yeecu kambo kiyan Tilita.
And they told what things [were done] in the way, and how he was known to them in breaking of bread.
36 Kambo citikang dikerobirombo tiyeri, dila Yeecun tii tibercir, dilla yici, “fuwer nerer kumer”.
And as they were thus speaking, Jesus himself stood in the midst of them, and saith to them, Peace [be] to you.
37 Dilla cin fakla cin dimkitani, cikwatiri cin tom wulo.
But they were terrified and affrighted, and supposed that they had seen a spirit.
38 Yeecu yiciki yebwi kom kwomdortiye? yebiro meke kunouti morner kumere?
And he said to them, Why are ye troubled? and why do thoughts arise in your hearts?
39 To kanimiu kan'nge Nanimiu, la muo kan'nye muo. Teiye nakomto. Wulo manki bwi kan'nge yiri, kambo komto nicikeu”.
Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have.
40 Kamboci tokweri, lacin nung cinen kaniceu kan'nge naniceu.
And when he had thus spoken, he showed them [his] hands and [his] feet.
41 Kamboci dimki fuwer nerereu, kan'nge nyimanka, Yeecu yici, “Komwiki kan'nge cariya?”
And while they yet believed not for joy, and wondered, he said to them, Have ye here any thing for food?
42 Lacin neco jinnge belumbeleu.
And they gave him a piece of a broiled fish, and a honey-comb.
43 Yeecunyo cam kabumcim.
And he took [it], and ate before them.
44 Lanyici, “Kambo miwari kan'nge komeu minyikom miki gwamm nike cimuleng wertun mucar kan'nge nentomanngeb kan'nge zaburau atin dii kang”.
And he said to them, These [are] the words which I spoke to you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and [in] the prophets, and [in] the psalms, concerning me.
45 Lacin wumwum nerciro naci nyimwom bifumertininbo.
Then he opened their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures,
46 Yici, “mulangum mulannge, kiritti annuwa dotange, amkwenum an kwenum tuwe ki kume taare.
And said to them, Thus it is written, and thus it behooved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day:
47 Komwab dencero kan'nge dobka bwirang kerer mor denece gwamm mor nube, komteri wurucalima.
And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.
48 Kom nobwarib dikero birombo.
And ye are witnesses of these things.
49 Too, mi twomutiki nor Teemiro dor kumer. Dila kom cini bitinece, catin tunkumen bikwan firen dii.”
And behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye are endued with power from on high.
50 Lananyime Yeecu yaken wari kna'nyeci yaa cilam Betani. Lankun kanceko yocimeti bibwiyerwi.
And he led them out as far as to Bethany: and he lifted up his hands, and blessed them.
51 Yilam kamboci yocinten bibwi yerotiyeri, dubomci lacim tumco cin yakenkico dikwama.
And it came to pass, while he was blessing them, he was parted from them, and carried up into heaven.
52 Lacin wabco, cin yilarangum wurucalima kifuwor nerer ducce.
And they worshiped him, and returned to Jerusalem with great joy:
53 Kicatec cimor lokwama cine dencore bibwiyerti.
And were continually in the temple, praising and blessing God. Amen.
