< Kolociyawa 3 >
If ye then be raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.
2 Kwa ki dike wo dii kwamau, kebo dike buro bitineu.
Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.
3 La kom bwiyam dume kume yurangum yurange wari kange Almasifu mor kwama.
For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.
4 kambo Almasifu cer knagu weu, worom co dume kume, la kom kenu kan cerkangi kange co mor duktangka cek.
When Christ, [who is] our life, shall appear, then will ye also appear with him in glory.
5 Kom twalum dikang ka nuwe kofo dor bitinereeu, burotum kane kayatum bwini wucake, dilangkako bwir. wuro bwirayeu kange wuro co wbka fulenku.
Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; lewdness, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry:
6 Dor dike buro fumer kwama ro a bou ti dor bibei bongtuuwe.
For which things the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience:
7 mor dikero buro ma dam kumenbe, kwatti ko yim more ciyeu.
In which ye also walked formerly, when ye lived with them.
8 La caneu tam kom dubom buro, cilonka neererk, funer kwabaan ka ko bwir, torkanka, kange kettito yang-yange nyi kom.
But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth.
9 Kom ceur de bwiti nn cuirke wori kon cokum nii a, r ko kange naen cero.
Lie not one to another, seeing ye have put off the old man with his deeds;
10 Kom merum ni fwir, wo fulonti mor anyo ka ki dimer wo ya felceu.
And have put on the new [man], which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:
11 Co fiye bacline man kange bayafude nii biyemeu, kange wo biyebeu. s faabub canga nii cerum cereu, baubawa kenon bacikitiye, La Almasifu co gwam, wi mr gwameu.
Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond [nor] free: but Christ [is] all, and in all.
12 Ki dur kumer na wa kwama cok cokeu, nubo wucakkeu, kange ma cuitiyeu, La kom merum cinin nagen do kentinim yiber duwer, taka kange dangeu.
Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, long-suffering;
13 Ma dangne kange bwiti, kom ma bwitinin luma, n kange wi ki kwama ka duwek kange keceri, kom cutangwi nawo Teluwe cutang kume wiyeu.
Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man hath a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also [do] ye.
14 lam dike buro gwam, ko yilam ki cuika woron co dika nyomkake.
And above all these things [put on] charity, which is the bond of perfectness.
15 luma Almasifuro a tun neer kumero, kiker lumaro wo cocokeu, me mor bwiyo wi. Kom bu'u kang.
And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.
16 Ko dob ker Almasifuro a yi more kume bwimbwiye. Ki nyomka gwam kom merangi ko mwe bwiti ti ki jabure, kange nuwe caklang k, kana mwe yuwa tangbe. kom ti kabi wari ki buka kangek mor neere kume fiye kwama wiyeu.
Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms, and hymns, and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
17 Dike ka ma gwam mor kere kange nagen ko mani gwam mor den Teluwe Yeecu. Kom bukanti kwama Tee more ce.
And whatever ye do in word or deed, [do] all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.
18 Natubo ko ne nabarub kume bo dur kambo dateneu mor Teluwe.
Wives, submit yourselves to your own husbands, as it is fit in the Lord.
19 nabarubbo kon cui natub kumeb bo kom kulang cire.
Husbands, love [your] wives, and be not bitter against them.
Children, obey [your] parents in all things: for this is well-pleasing to the Lord.
21 Kom tebbo ko terande bibeiyo kati yilo ci cuwam tai.
Fathers, provoke not your children [to anger], lest they be discouraged.
Servants, obey in all things [your] masters according to the flesh; not with eye-service, as men-pleasers; but in singleness of heart, fearing God:
23 Dike ko matiyeu ko manangen wo mor neerer kume, wo teluwe ceu kebo na nobo ciye.
And whatever ye do, do [it] heartily, as to the Lord, and not to men;
24 Ko nyumom kiwo kan yo cuner wo kwalito ce fiye Teluweu. Wori Aasifu Yeecu ko bwangten tiye.
Knowing that from the Lord ye will receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ.
But he that doeth wrong, will receive for the wrong which he hath done: and there is no respect of persons.
