1 Tassaluniya 5
1 no woyeu, ki ker kwamawo ka-nge kalewo, kom mani ki cwi dige a mulang kumen tiye
But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write to you.
2 dige bwiyeu kom ki bwi kumi kom nyom yora ki di boka kwama wi nyo na ni kuwe na kume,
For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.
3 kambo tok ker yim lumati ka-nge dam narem ken, di bwaro bou kin diye man ki kume an yilam na, nawiye boro, na, nawiye ki fwere man fi cerka.
For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.
4 la kom yi tobmib, ki mani mwor kumta cili, na kume wuro na bo kimen na ni kuwe.
But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.
5 gwam kume kom bi bei filang, ke bibei ka kuke, nyo kebo bibeikume.
Ye are all children of light, and children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.
6 nyo kom doredum na wuro ka-ngembo ki mare tano na curo nyori bi yim ki bati ka-nge yim fwetangka yora.
Therefore let us not sleep, as [do] others; but let us watch and be sober.
7 dige bwiyeu nubo dadum tiye ki da ki kume nyo nubo notiyeu ki no ki kume.
For they that sleep, sleep in the night; and they that are drunken, are drunken in the night.
8 kaubo bibei ka kukeu la bi yim yora, nyo bi yo kwor bilengke ka-nge wo cwi kakko ce na bi ner bero firen dii kwama.
But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breast-plate of faith and love; and for a helmet, the hope of salvation.
9 kwama yibo ki na bi to kayaka nercer la nabi fiya a fuloka ki den Teluwe be kiristi Almachiya ciya.
For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,
10 co niwo bwiya ki den bere, bwenta bi kwarce kakka bwiyam, bi wari ka-nge co
Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him.
11 Tano nyori kom ne dangne ka-nge kebkime bo nakom cikang buti na wuro kom matiye.
Wherefore, comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.
12 nyo kinong komti kebmibo kom ne dur nubo buro ma nangen tiber kimere, wuro tam ka-nge kom makumen nangen tiye ki den Teluwe, nubo buro ki nang kome.
And we beseech you, brethren, to know them who labor among you, and are over you in the Lord, and admonish you;
13 nyo konong komti tak, kom nunga cinen nure kom nung cinen cwika nyo na dige kendo wuro ci manangtiyeu na kom yii yim lumam ka-nge ci.
And to esteem them very highly in love for their work's sake. [And] be at peace among yourselves.
14 nyo maki men dige datenne ti na kero kom manang cuko macine neu. tano na curo ki kom matika digero ken wuro nubo nuwa luma kimen nubo kwarub kom ci kande ci ka-nge.
Now we exhort you, brethren, warn them that are disorderly, comfort the feeble-minded, support the weak, be patient towards all [men].
15 kom to ka-nge a ya'are kece nin cile ki cile nyeu kom do bwiti nin dikero ken na gwamece.
See that none render evil for evil to any [man]; but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all [men].
16 Bila-ngi kang-kang
Rejoice evermore.
17 Kwob dulo man ki yiloka.
Pray without ceasing.
18 Mor diger gwam nee buka ka-ngek wo co cwika kwama mor kiristi Yeesu ki kom.
In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
19 Domde yuwa tangbeko wucake.
Quench not the spirit.
20 Cwekangde to'oka dukume.
Despise not prophesyings.
21 cuwa digero gwam, ko tam dige yoryore.
Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.
22 co-ngum gwam cile more kume.
Abstain from all appearance of evil.
23 kwama wo lumace ca yilam ki kom nubo ken, la gwam kume kom yilam ki bwiyer kumero, ner kumero bwikume, na yilam muwerum mwere man ki dwiti kana ken na boka Teluwe be cuwo kiristi Almachiya.
And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and [I pray God] your whole spirit and soul and body may be preserved blameless to the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
24 niwo kome ni kendo ken.
Faithful [is] he that calleth you, who also will do [it].
25 kebmibbo kom dulo ki denyer.
Brethren, pray for us.
26 kom yarum kebkimebo gwam ka-nge nubo kendo.
Greet all the brethren with a holy kiss.
27 mi kinong komti ki den Teluwe kom cuwo bifumer na nubo ceye gwam ki kwobka dulo
I charge you by the Lord that this epistle be read to all the holy brethren.
28 dila luma kwama kiristi Almachiya na yilam wari ka-nge kom.
The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ [be] with you. Amen.
