1 Davudun məzmuru. O, Avimelekin önündə özünü dəli kimi göstərib qovulanda. Hər zaman Rəbbə alqış edəcəyəm, Ona daim mənim dilim həmd edəcək.
A Psalme of Dauid, when he changed his behauiour before Abimelech, who droue him away, and he departed. I will alway giue thankes vnto the Lord: his praise shalbe in my mouth continually.
2 Rəblə könlüm fəxr edir, Ey məzlumlar, eşidib sevinin!
My soule shall glory in the Lord: the humble shall heare it, and be glad.
3 Gəlin mənimlə birgə Rəbbi müqəddəs tutaq, Rəbbin ismini birgə ucaldaq.
Praise ye the Lord with me, and let vs magnifie his Name together.
4 Rəbbə üz tutdum, O mənə cavab verdi, O hər bir dəhşətdən məni xilas etdi.
I sought the Lord, and he heard me: yea, he deliuered me out of all my feare.
5 Rəbbə baxan nur saçar, Üzü qızarmaz.
They shall looke vnto him, and runne to him: and their faces shall not be ashamed, saying,
6 Mən məzlum, Rəbbi çağırdım, O məni eşitdi, Bütün əzablarımdan məni xilas etdi.
This poore man cryed, and the Lord heard him, and saued him out of all his troubles.
7 Rəbdən qorxanları Onun mələyi müdafiə edər, Onlara zəfər verər.
The Angel of the Lord pitcheth round about them, that feare him, and deliuereth them.
8 Dadın, görün Rəbb nə qədər şirindir, Nə bəxtiyardır Ona pənah gətirənlər!
Taste ye and see, howe gratious the Lord is: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.
9 Ey Rəbbin müqəddəsləri, Rəbdən qorxun, Ondan qorxan heç nəyə möhtac qalmaz.
Feare the Lord, ye his Saintes: for nothing wanteth to them that feare him.
10 Gənc aslanlar ac-yalavac qaldılar, Lakin Rəbbi axtaranlar Heç bir yaxşı şeydən korluq çəkməzlər.
The lyons doe lacke and suffer hunger, but they, which seeke the Lord, shall want nothing that is good.
11 Gəlin, ey övladlar, məni dinləyin, Rəbb qorxusunu sizə öyrədim:
Come children, hearken vnto me: I will teache you the feare of the Lord.
12 Kim həyatdan kam almaq istəyirsə, Uzun ömür sürüb xoş gün görmək istəyirsə,
What man is he, that desireth life, and loueth long dayes for to see good?
13 Qoy dilini şərdən, Ağzını fırıldaq üçün işlətməkdən qorusun,
Keepe thy tongue from euill, and thy lips, that they speake no guile.
14 Qoy şərdən çəkinib yaxşılıq etsin, Sülhü axtarıb ardınca getsin!
Eschewe euill and doe good: seeke peace and follow after it.
15 Rəbbin gözü salehlərin üzərindədir, Qulaqları onların fəryadlarına açıqdır.
The eyes of the Lord are vpon the righteous, and his eares are open vnto their crie.
16 Rəbbin üzü şər iş görənlərə qarşıdır, Yer üzündə onlardan nişanə qoymayacaq.
But the face of the Lord is against them that doe euill, to cut off their remembrance from the earth.
17 Salehlər fəryad çəkəndə Rəbb eşidir, Onları bütün əzablarından azad edir.
The righteous crie, and the Lord heareth them, and deliuereth them out of all their troubles.
18 Rəbb qəlbisınıqlara yaxındır, O, ruhən əzilmişləri qurtarır.
The Lord is neere vnto them that are of a contrite heart, and will saue such as be afflicted in Spirite.
19 Salehlər çox bəlaya düçar olar, Lakin Rəbb onları hər birindən qurtarır.
Great are the troubles of the righteous: but the Lord deliuereth him out of them all.
20 Rəbb onların hər bir sümüyünü qoruyur, Heç biri zədələnməz.
He keepeth all his bones: not one of them is broken.
21 Pislər öz şəri ilə məhv olacaq, Salehə nifrət edən məhkum olacaq.
But malice shall slay the wicked: and they that hate the righteous, shall perish.
22 Rəbb qullarının canını azad edir, Rəbbə pənah gətirən məhkum olmur.
The Lord redeemeth the soules of his seruants: and none, that trust in him, shall perish.
