1 Ey salehlər, Rəbbi mədh edin, Ürəyidüz olanlara həmd söyləmək yaraşır.
Exult, ye righteous, in Jehovah: praise is comely for the upright.
2 Lira çalın, Rəbbə şükür edin, On telli çənglə Onu tərənnüm edin,
Give thanks unto Jehovah with the harp; sing psalms unto him with the ten-stringed lute.
3 Ona yeni bir nəğmə oxuyun, Sevinc nidaları ilə çalın.
Sing unto him a new song; play skilfully with a loud sound.
4 Çünki Rəbbin sözü haqdır, Hər işini sədaqətlə aparır.
For the word of Jehovah is right, and all his work is in faithfulness.
5 Rəbb salehliyi və ədaləti sevir, Yer üzü Onun məhəbbəti ilə dolur.
He loveth righteousness and judgment: the earth is full of the loving-kindness of Jehovah.
6 Göylər Rəbbin sözü ilə, Səma cisimləri Onun hökmü ilə yarandı.
By the word of Jehovah were the heavens made, and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth.
7 Dənizin sularını bir yerə yığdı, Dərin suları anbarlarda saxladı.
He gathereth the waters of the sea together as a heap; he layeth up the deeps in storehouses.
8 Qoy bütün dünya Rəbdən qorxsun, Bütün yer üzünün əhalisi Onu şərəfləndirsin.
Let all the earth fear Jehovah; let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him.
9 Çünki nə söylədi, mövcud oldu, Nə əmr etdi, quruldu.
For he spoke, and it was [done]; he commanded, and it stood fast.
10 Rəbb millətlərin məsləhətini puç edər, Xalqların məqsədini heç edər.
Jehovah frustrateth the counsel of the nations; he maketh the thoughts of the peoples of none effect.
11 Lakin Rəbbin məsləhəti əbədi olar, Ürəyinin məqsədi nəsillər ötsə də, qalar.
The counsel of Jehovah standeth for ever, the thoughts of his heart from generation to generation.
12 Nə bəxtiyardır o millət ki Allahı Rəbdir, O xalq ki Rəbb onu irs olaraq seçmişdir.
Blessed is the nation whose God is Jehovah, the people that he hath chosen for his inheritance!
13 Rəbb göylərdən baxır, Bütün bəşər övladlarını görür,
Jehovah looketh from the heavens; he beholdeth all the sons of men:
14 Taxtında oturduğu yerdən Bütün dünya əhalisini görür.
From the place of his habitation he looketh forth upon all the inhabitants of the earth;
15 Odur hər bir insanın ürəyini yaradan, Əməllərini anlayan.
He who fashioneth the hearts of them all, who considereth all their works.
16 Qoşunun çoxluğu ilə heç bir padşah qurtulmaz, Qolunun gücü ilə heç bir cəngavər zəfər çalmaz.
The king is not saved by the multitude of [his] forces; a mighty man is not delivered by much strength.
17 Qələbə üçün at boş şeydir, Qüvvətinin çoxluğu ilə bir kimsə xilas olmaz.
The horse is a vain thing for safety; neither doth he deliver by his great power.
18 Rəbbin gözü Ondan qorxanlara, Onun məhəbbətinə ümid bağlayanlara baxar.
Behold, the eye of Jehovah is upon them that fear him, upon them that hope in his loving-kindness,
19 İstəyir ki, onları ölümdən qurtarsın, Qıtlıqda belə, onlar sağ qalsın.
To deliver their soul from death, and to keep them alive in famine.
20 Könlümüz Rəbbin yolunu gözlər, Odur köməyimiz və sipərimiz.
Our soul waiteth for Jehovah: he is our help and our shield.
21 Bizim qəlbimiz Onda sevinc tapır, Müqəddəs isminə arxalanmışıq.
For in him shall our heart rejoice, because we have confided in his holy name.
22 Ya Rəbb, ümidimizi Sənə bağlamışıq, Məhəbbətin üzərimizdən tükənməsin.
Let thy loving-kindness, O Jehovah, be upon us, according as we have hoped in thee.
