1 Rəbbə həmd edin! Göylərdən Rəbbə həmd edin, Yüksəklərdən Ona həmd edin!
Praise Yahweh! Praise him, from up in heaven; praise him from way up in the sky!
2 Ey Onun bütün mələkləri, Ona həmd edin! Ey Onun bütün orduları, Ona həmd edin!
All you angels who belong to him, praise him! All you who are in the armies of heaven, praise him!
3 Ey günəş, ey ay, Ona həmd edin! Ey parlayan bütün ulduzlar, Ona həmd edin!
Sun and moon, [you also] praise him! You shining stars, you praise him!
4 Ey göylərin ən uca qatları, Ona həmd edin! Ey göy üzərindəki sular, Ona həmd edin!
You highest heavens, praise him! And you waters that are high above the sky, praise him!
5 Rəbbin isminə həmd etsinlər! Çünki Onun əmri ilə yaranıblar.
I want [all of] these to praise Yahweh [MTY] because by commanding [them to exist], he created them.
6 Rəbb onları həmişəlik, əbədi olaraq yerinə qoyub, Bunun üçün pozulmaz qayda qoyub.
He determined the places where they should be [in the sky], and he commanded that they should be there forever. They cannot disobey that command!
7 Rəbbə həmd edin, ey yer üzündəkilər, Ey dəniz əjdahaları, ey bütün dərinliklər,
And everything on the earth, praise Yahweh! You [huge] sea monsters and [everything else that is] deep [in the ocean],
8 Ey şimşək, dolu, qar, buludlar, Ey Onun əmrinə tabe olan qasırğalar,
and fire and hail, and snow and frost, and strong winds that obey what he commands, [I tell] all of you to praise Yahweh!
9 Ey dağlar, bütün təpələr, Ey bəhərli ağaclar, bütün sidr ağacları,
Hills and mountains, fruit trees and cedar [trees],
10 Ey çöl və ev heyvanları, Ey sürünənlər və uçan quşlar,
all the wild animals and all [you] cattle, and the (reptiles/creatures that scurry across the ground), and [all] the birds, [I tell all of them to praise Yahweh]!
11 Ey dünya padşahları və bütün ümmətlər, Ey başçılar və dünyada olan bütün hakimlər,
You kings on this earth and all the people [that you rule], you princes and all [other] rulers,
12 Ey gənc oğlanlar və qızlar, Ey qocalar, cavanlar!
you young men and young women, you old people and children, [everyone, praise Yahweh!]
13 Hamınız Rəbbin isminə həmd edin! Çünki yalnız Onun ismi ucadır. Əzəməti göylərin, yerin üstündədir,
I want them [all] to praise Yahweh [MTY] because he is greater than anyone else. His glory is greater than [anything on] the earth or [in] heaven.
14 O, xalqına böyük qüvvət verib. Buna görə Ona həmd etsin Onun bütün möminləri, Əziz xalqı olan İsrail övladları! Rəbbə həmd edin!
He caused us, his people, to be strong in order that we, his people, we Israeli people (who are very precious to him/whom he loves very much), would praise him. So praise Yahweh!
