1 Rəbbə həmd edin! Ey könlüm, Rəbbə həmd et!

Praise ye Yah, Praise, O my soul, Yahweh.

2 Ömür boyu Rəbbə həmdlər söyləyəcəyəm, Allahımı nə qədər varam, tərənnüm edəcəyəm!

I will praise Yahweh while I live! I will make melody to my God while I continue!

3 Əsilzadələrə, Sizi qurtara bilməyən bəşər oğluna güvənməyin.

Do not ye trust in nobles, in a son of man who hath no deliverance:

4 Onlar canı çıxan kimi torpağa düşər, Niyyətləri bircə anda yox olar.

His spirit, goeth forth, he returneth to his ground, In that very day, his thoughts perish.

5 Nə bəxtiyardır Yaqubun Allahından kömək alan, Yalnız Allahı Rəbbə ümid bağlayan insan!

How happy is he that hath the GOD of Jacob as his help, whose hope, is on Yahweh his God: —

6 Odur göyləri, yeri, dənizi, dənizdəkiləri yaradan, Odur əbədi sadiq qalan.

Who made The heavens and the earth, The sea and all that is therein, Who keepeth faithfulness to times age-abiding:

7 O, miskinlərə haqq qazandırır, O, acları azuqə ilə doydurur. Rəbb əsirləri azad edir,

Who executeth justice for the oppressed, who giveth food to the famishing, Yahweh, who liberateth prisoners;

8 Rəbb kor gözləri açır. Rəbb qəddi əyilənləri düzəldir, Rəbb salehləri sevir.

Yahweh, who opened [the eyes of] the blind, Yahweh, who raiseth the prostrate, Yahweh, who loveth the righteous;

9 Rəbb qəriblərə dayaq olur, Yetimi, dul qadını ayağa qaldırır, Pislərinsə yollarını dolaşdırır.

Yahweh, who preserveth sojourners, The fatherless and widows, he relieveth, —but, the way of the lawless, he overturneth.

10 Rəbb əbədi hökmranlıq edir, Ey Sion, Allahın nəsillər boyu hökm verir! Rəbbə həmd edin!

Yahweh, will reign, to times age-abiding, Thy God, O Zion, to generation after generation. Praise ye Yah!
