1 Rəbbə həmd edin! Rəbbin isminə həmd edin, Ey Rəbbin qulları, həmd edin!
Praise ye the LORD! Praise ye the name of the LORD! Praise him, O ye servants of the LORD!
2 Ey Rəbbin evində xidmət edənlər, Allahımızın evinin həyətində duranlar,
Ye who stand in the house of the LORD, In the courts of the house of our God!
3 Rəbb yaxşıdır, Rəbbə həmd edin, O nə qədər şirindir, isminə tərənnüm oxuyun!
Praise ye the LORD, for the LORD is good; Praise his name, for he is kind!
4 Çünki Rəbb Özü üçün Yaqubu seçdi, İsraili Özünə məxsus xalq olaraq seçdi.
For the LORD chose Jacob for himself, And Israel for his own possession.
5 Bilirəm, Rəbb əzəmətlidir, Xudavəndimiz bütün allahlardan üstündür.
I know that the LORD is great; That our Lord is above all gods.
6 Göylərdə, yer üzündə, Dənizlərdə, bütün ümmanlarda Rəbb istədiyini edər.
All that the LORD pleaseth, that he doeth, In heaven and upon earth, In the sea, and in all deeps.
7 Yerin ucqarlarından buludları qaldırar, Şimşəkləri çaxdırar, yağış yağdırar, Küləkləri öz mənbələrindən çıxarar.
He causeth the clouds to ascend from the ends of the earth; He maketh lightnings for the rain; He bringeth the wind from his store-houses.
8 Rəbb Misirlilərin ilk oğullarını qırdı, Hər insanın, hər heyvanın ilk balasını öldürdü.
He smote the first-born of Egypt, Both of man and beast.
9 Ey Misir, sənin daxilində, Fironla bütün əyanlarının üzərində O, əlamətlərini, möcüzələrini göstərdi.
He sent signs and wonders into the midst of thee, O Egypt! Against Pharaoh and all his servants!
10 Nə qədər millətləri qırdı, Qüdrətli padşahları öldürdü.
He smote many nations, And slew mighty kings;
11 Emorluların padşahı Sixonu, Başan padşahı Oqu, Bütün Kənan padşahlarını qırdı.
Sihon, the king of the Amorites, And Og, the king of Bashan, And all the kings of Canaan;
12 Onların torpaqlarını, mülklərini Öz xalqı İsrailə irs olaraq verdi.
And gave their land for an inheritance, For an inheritance to Israel, his people.
13 Ya Rəbb, Sənin adın əbədidir! Ey Rəbb, ismin nəsillərdən-nəsillərə çatır!
Thy name, O LORD! endureth for ever; Thy memorial, O LORD! to all generations!
14 Rəbb xalqına haqq verəcək, Qullarına rəhm edəcək.
For the LORD judgeth his people, And hath compassion on his servants.
15 Amma millətlərin bütləri qızıldan, gümüşdən düzəlmişdir, Onlar insan əllərinin işidir.
The idols of the nations are silver and gold, The work of men's hands.
16 Ağızları var, danışa bilmir, Gözləri var, amma görmür,
They have mouths, but they speak not; Eyes have they, but they see not.
17 Qulaqları var, eşitmir, Ağızlarından nəfəs gəlmir.
They have ears, but they hear not; And there is no breath in their mouths.

They that make them are like them; So is every one that trusteth in them.

20 Ey Levi nəsli, Rəbbə alqış edin! Ey Rəbdən qorxanlar, Ona alqış söyləyin!
Praise the LORD, O house of Levi! Ye that fear the LORD, bless the LORD!
21 Rəbbə Siondan alqış oxunsun! Rəbb Yerusəlimdə yaşayır! Rəbbə həmd edin!
Praised be the LORD out of Zion, He that dwelleth in Jerusalem! Praise ye the LORD!
