1 Ziyarət nəğməsi. Ya Rəbb, Davudu, Çəkdiyi bütün əzabları,
Lord, remember David, and all his afflictions:
2 Rəbbə etdiyi andı, Yaqubun qüdrətli Allahına etdiyi əhdi yada sal.
How he swore to the LORD, and vowed to the mighty God of Jacob;
3 O dedi: «Öz evimdə yaşamaram, Yatağımda yatmaram,
Surely I will not come into the tabernacle of my house, nor go up into my bed;
4 Gözümə yuxu getməz, Gözlərimi yummaram
I will not give sleep to my eyes, or slumber to my eyelids,
5 Rəbbə layiq bir yer, Yaqubun qüdrətli Allahına bir məskən tapana qədər».
Until I find out a place for the LORD, an habitation for the mighty God of Jacob.
6 Əhd sandığının Efratada olduğunu eşitdik, Onu Yaar tarlalarında tapdıq.
See, we heard of it at Ephratah: we found it in the fields of the wood.
7 Dedik: «Gəlin, Onun məkanına gedək, Kətilində səcdə edək».
We will go into his tabernacles: we will worship at his footstool.
8 Ya Rəbb, qüvvənin rəmzi olan sandığınla birgə İstirahət edəcəyin yerə qalx.
Arise, O LORD, into your rest; you, and the ark of your strength.
9 Kahinlərin həqiqətə bürünsün, Möminlərin Səni mədh etsin.
Let your priests be clothed with righteousness; and let your saints shout for joy.
10 Qulun Davudun xatirinə Məsh etdiyindən üz döndərmə.
For your servant David’s sake turn not away the face of your anointed.
11 Rəbb Davuda sədaqətlə and içdi, Bu andından dönməz: «Belindən gələn oğullarından birini Səndən sonra taxtında oturdacağam.
The LORD has sworn in truth to David; he will not turn from it; Of the fruit of your body will I set on your throne.
12 Əgər övladların əhdimə, Onlara öyrədəcəyim göstərişlərə əməl edərlərsə, Onların oğulları da Sonsuza qədər sənin taxtında oturacaq».
If your children will keep my covenant and my testimony that I shall teach them, their children shall also sit on your throne for ever more.
13 Çünki Rəbb Sionu seçdi, Orada Öz məskənini salmaq istədi.
For the LORD has chosen Zion; he has desired it for his habitation.
14 Dedi: «Bura əbədi olaraq istirahət edəcəyim yerdir, İstəyirəm ki, burada məskən salım.
This is my rest for ever: here will I dwell; for I have desired it.
15 Bu yerə bol ruzi-bərəkət verəcəyəm, Buradakı fəqirlərə doyunca ərzaq verəcəyəm.
I will abundantly bless her provision: I will satisfy her poor with bread.
16 Kahinlərini zəfərə bürüyəcəyəm, Möminləri sevinclə mədh oxuyacaq.
I will also clothe her priests with salvation: and her saints shall shout aloud for joy.
17 Burada Davud sülaləsindən güclü hökmdar yetirəcəyəm, Məsh etdiyim üçün bir çıraq hazır etmişəm.
There will I make the horn of David to bud: I have ordained a lamp for my anointed.
18 Düşmənlərini xəcalətə salacağam, Lakin onun tacı nur saçacaq».
His enemies will I clothe with shame: but on himself shall his crown flourish.
