1 Davudun ziyarət nəğməsi. Mənə «Rəbbin evinə gedək» deyilərkən sevindim.

A Song of Ascents. David’s. I was glad, when they were saying unto me, Unto the house of Yahweh, let us go!

2 Ey Yerusəlim, sənin darvazalarından keçdim, Torpağına qədəm qoydum.

Standing are our feet, within thy gates, O Jerusalem!

3 Bu, Yerusəlim şəhəridir, Çox sıx tikilmişdir.

Jerusalem! that hath been builded, A true city, all joined together as one:

4 İsrail üçün verilən şəhadət naminə Qəbilələr, Rəbbin qəbilələri Rəbbin isminə şükür etmək üçün Buranı ziyarət etməyə gəlirlər.

Whither have come up the tribes, The tribes of Yah, A testimony to Israel, To give thanks unto the Name of Yahweh:

5 Hökm üçün burada taxtlar qurulub, Bu taxtlarda Davud sülaləsi oturub.

For there are set—Thrones for justice, Thrones for the house David.

6 Hamı Yerusəlim üçün sülh diləsin: «Qoy səni sevənlər dinc həyat sürsün!

Ask ye for the peace of Jerusalem, They shall prosper, who love thee!

7 Qoy qala divarlarının içində sülh olsun! Qoy saraylarındakılar dinc yaşasın!»

Peace be within thy walls, prosperity within thy palaces:

8 Yoldaşlarıma, dostlarıma görə «Səndə sülh olsun!» deyirəm.

For the sake of my brethren and friends, Oh, might I speak [saying], Peace be within thee!

9 Allahımız Rəbbin evinə görə Sənə bəxtiyarlıq diləyirəm.

For the sake of the house of Yahweh our God, will I seek blessing for thee.
