1 İsa izdihamı görüb dağa çıxdı. Oturan kimi şagirdləri Onun yanına gəldi.
Seeing the multitudes, he went up onto the mountain. When he had sat down, his disciples came to him.
2 İsa danışmağa başlayıb onları öyrədərək dedi:
He opened his mouth and taught them, saying,
3 «Nə bəxtiyardır ruhən yoxsullar! Çünki Səmavi Padşahlıq onlarındır.
“Blessed are the poor in spirit! for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven (God).
4 Nə bəxtiyardır yaslı olanlar! Çünki onlar təsəlli tapacaq.
Blessed are those who mourn! for they shall be comforted.
5 Nə bəxtiyardır həlimlər! Çünki onlar yer üzünü irs alacaq.
Blessed are the meek! for they shall inherit the Land.
6 Nə bəxtiyardır salehlik üçün acıb-susayanlar! Çünki onlar doyacaq.
Blessed are those who hunger and thirst after righteousness! For they shall be filled.
7 Nə bəxtiyardır mərhəmətli olanlar! Çünki onlara mərhəmət ediləcək.
Blessed are the merciful! for they shall obtain mercy.
8 Nə bəxtiyardır ürəyi təmiz olanlar! Çünki onlar Allahı görəcək.
Blessed are the pure in heart! for they shall see God.
9 Nə bəxtiyardır sülhyaradanlar! Çünki onlar Allahın övladları adlanacaq.
Blessed are the peacemakers! for they shall be called children of God.
10 Nə bəxtiyardır salehlik uğrunda təqib edilənlər! Çünki Səmavi Padşahlıq onlarındır.
Blessed are those who have been persecuted for righteousness’ sake! for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven (God).
11 İnsanlar Mənə görə sizi təhqir edib təqib edəndə, yalan söyləyib sizə hər cür böhtan atanda siz nə bəxtiyarsınız!
“Blessed are you when people reproach you, persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely, for my sake.
12 Sevinin və şadlanın! Çünki göylərdə mükafatınız böyükdür. Axı sizdən qabaq gələn peyğəmbərləri də belə təqib ediblər.
Rejoice, and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven. For that is how they persecuted the prophets who were before you.
13 Siz yer üzünün duzusunuz. Amma duz öz dadını itirərsə, nə ilə duzlanar? Artıq çölə atılıb insanlar tərəfindən tapdalanmaqdan başqa bir şeyə yaramaz.
“You are the salt of the earth, but if the salt has lost its flavor, with what will it be salted? It is then good for nothing, but to be cast out and trodden under the feet of men.
14 Siz dünyanın nurusunuz. Dağın zirvəsində qurulan şəhər gizli qala bilməz.
You are the light of the world. A city located on a hill can’t be hidden.
15 Heç kim çırağı yandırıb qabın altına qoymaz. Əksinə, çıraqdana qoyar ki, evdəkilərin hamısını işıqlandırsın.
Neither do you light a lamp, and put it under a measuring basket, but on a stand; and it shines to all who are in the house.
16 Eləcə də sizin nurunuz insanların qarşısında elə parlasın ki, onlar xeyirxah işlərinizi görüb göylərdə olan Atanızı izzətləndirsinlər.
Even so, let your light shine before men; that they may see your good works, and glorify 'Avikah shebashamayim ·your Father in Heaven·.
17 Sanmayın ki, Mən Qanun və Peyğəmbərlərin sözlərini ləğv etmək üçün gəldim. Mən onları ləğv etmək üçün yox, yerinə yetirmək üçün gəldim.
“Don’t think that I came to destroy the Torah ·Teaching· or the prophets. I didn’t come to destroy, but to fulfill.
18 Sizə doğrusunu deyirəm: göy və yer keçib getmədən, hər şey icra olmadan Qanundan ən kiçik bir hərf və ya bir nöqtə belə, yox olmayacaq.
For most certainly, I tell you, until heaven and earth pass away, not even one smallest letter or one tiny pen stroke shall in any way pass away from the Torah ·Teaching·, until all things are accomplished.
19 Beləliklə, bu əmrlərdən ən kiçiyindən birini kim pozarsa və başqalarına da bu cür öyrədərsə, Səmavi Padşahlıqda ən kiçik sayılacaq. Amma kim bu əmrləri yerinə yetirər və başqalarına da öyrədərsə, Səmavi Padşahlıqda böyük sayılacaq.
Therefore, whoever shall disobey the least mitzvot ·instructions· and teaches others to do so, shall be called least in the Kingdom of Heaven (God). But whoever shall obey them and so teaches shall be called great in the Kingdom of Heaven (God).
20 Sizə bunu deyirəm: əgər sizin salehliyiniz ilahiyyatçılarla fariseylərin salehliyindən artıq olmasa, Səmavi Padşahlığa əsla girə bilməzsiniz.
For I tell you that unless your righteousness exceeds that of the Torah-Teachers and Pharisees [Separated], there is no way you will enter into the Kingdom of Heaven (God).
21 Siz qədim zamanlarda adamlara “Qətl etmə, kim qətl edərsə, mühakiməyə məruz qalacaq” deyildiyini eşitmisiniz.
“You have heard that it was said to the ancient ones, ‘You shall not murder;’ and ‘Whoever murders will be in danger of the judgment.’
22 Mənsə sizə deyirəm ki, qardaşına hirslənən hər kəs mühakiməyə məruz qalacaq. Kim qardaşına “axmaq” deyərsə, Ali Şuranın hökmünə məruz qalacaq. Kim qardaşına “səfeh” deyərsə, cəhənnəm oduna məruz qalacaq. (Geenna g1067)
But I tell you, that everyone who is angry with his brother without a cause will be in danger of the judgment; and whoever says to his brother, ‘Raca! ·Vain, empty, worthless, to spit upon, good-for-nothing·!’ will be in danger of the Sanhedrin ·Sitting together·; and whoever says, ‘Fool!’ will be in danger of the fire of Gehenna (Place of fiery torment for the dead). 23 Buna görə də qurbangah qarşısına qurbanını gətirdiyin zaman yadına düşsə ki, qardaşının sənə qarşı bir şikayəti var,
“If therefore you are offering your gift at the altar, and there remember that your brother has anything against you,
24 qurbanını qurbangahın qarşısında qoy, get, əvvəlcə qardaşınla barış və ondan sonra gəl, qurbanını təqdim et.
leave your gift there before the altar, and go your way. First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift.
25 Səni ittiham edənlə yolda ikən tez razılaş ki, o səni hakimə, hakim də səni mühafizəçiyə verməsin və zindana atılmayasan.
Agree with your adversary quickly, while you are with him on the way; lest perhaps the prosecutor deliver you to the judge, and the judge deliver you to the officer, and you be cast into prison.
26 Sənə doğrusunu deyirəm: axırıncı qəpik-quruşunu verməyincə oradan əsla çıxmayacaqsan.
Most certainly I tell you, you shall by no means get out of there, until you have paid the last quadrans coin (Roman quarter coin about 3/8 of a cent).
27 “Zina etmə” deyildiyini eşitmisiniz.
“You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall not moicheuo ·commit adultery·;’
28 Mənsə sizə deyirəm ki, qadına şəhvətlə baxan hər adam artıq ürəyində onunla zina etmiş olur.
but I tell you that everyone who gazes at a woman to lust after her has moicheuo ·committed adultery· with her already in his heart.
29 Əgər sağ gözün səni pis yola çəkərsə, onu çıxar at. Çünki sənin üçün bədən üzvlərindən birinin məhv olması bütün bədəninin cəhənnəmə atılmasından yaxşıdır. (Geenna g1067)
If your right eye causes you to scandalize ·to entrap, to cause weak knees that waiver, stumbling block that causes falling, distrusting one that should be trusted and obeyed, disapproving of authority, to judge unfavorably causing displeasure, indignant·, pluck it out and throw it away from you. For it is more profitable for you that one of your members should perish, than for your whole body to be cast into Gehenna (Place of fiery torment for the dead). (Geenna g1067)
30 Əgər sağ əlin səni pis yola çəkərsə, onu kəs at. Çünki sənin üçün bədən üzvlərindən birinin məhv olması bütün bədəninin cəhənnəmə düşməsindən yaxşıdır. (Geenna g1067)

“It was also said, ‘Whoever shall put away his wife, let him give her a get ·certificate of divorce·,’
32 Mənsə sizə deyirəm ki, cinsi əxlaqsızlıqdan başqa bir səbəbə görə arvadını boşayan hər kəs onu zinaya sövq edir. Boşanmış qadınla evlənən də zina edir.
but I tell you that whoever puts away his wife, except for the cause of porhneia ·sexual immorality·, makes her moicheuo ·become an adulterer·; and whoever marries her when she is put away commits moichao ·act of adultery·.
33 Yenə qədim zamanlarda adamlara “Yalandan and içmə, amma andlarını Rəbbin önündə yerinə yetir” deyildiyini eşitmisiniz.
“Again you have heard that it was said to them of old time, ‘You shall not make false vows, but shall perform to MarYah [Master Yahweh] your vows,’
34 Mənsə sizə deyirəm ki, heç and içmə, nə göyə, çünki o, Allahın taxtıdır;
but I tell you, don’t swear at all: neither 'by heaven', for it is the throne of God;
35 nə yerə, çünki yer Onun ayaqlarının altındakı kətildir; nə də Yerusəlimə, çünki ora böyük Padşahın şəhəridir.
nor 'by the earth', for it is his footstool; nor by Jerusalem [City of peace], for it is the city of the great King.
36 Başına da and içmə, çünki sən hətta bir dənə saçı belə, ağ və ya qara edə bilməzsən.
Neither shall you swear by your head, for you can’t make one hair white or black.
37 Ancaq sözünüzdə “bəli”niz bəli, “xeyr”iniz xeyr olsun. Bundan qalanı şər olandandır.
But let your ‘Yes’ be ‘Yes’ and your ‘No’ be ‘No.’ Whatever is more than these is of the evil one.
38 “Göz əvəzinə göz, diş əvəzinə diş” deyildiyini eşitmisiniz.
“You have heard that it was said, ‘An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth.’
39 Mənsə sizə deyirəm ki, pis adama qarşı durma. Əksinə, sağ üzünə şillə vurana o birini də çevir.
But I tell you, don’t resist him who is evil; but whoever strikes you on your right cheek, turn to him the other also.
40 Səni məhkəməyə verib köynəyini götürmək istəyənə üst paltarını da ver.
If anyone sues you to take away your coat, let him have your cloak also.
41 Kim səni min addım yol getməyə məcbur edirsə, sən onunla iki min addım yol get.
Whoever compels you to go one mile, go with him two.
42 Səndən bir şey diləyənə ver, səndən borc istəyəni geri qaytarma.
Give to him who asks you, and don’t turn away him who desires to borrow from you.
43 “Qonşunu sev və düşməninə nifrət et” deyildiyini eşitmisiniz.
“You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall show agapao ·total devoted love· to your neighbor and hate and detest your enemy.’
44 Mənsə sizə deyirəm ki, düşmənlərinizi sevin, sizi təqib edənlər üçün dua edin.
But I tell you, show agapao ·total devoted love· to your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate and detest you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you,
45 Belə ki siz göylərdə olan Atanızın övladları olasınız. Çünki O, günəşini həm pislərin, həm yaxşıların üzərinə doğurur, yağışını da həm salehlərin, həm də saleh olmayanların üzərinə yağdırır.
that you may be children of 'Avikah shebashamayim ·your Father in Heaven·. For he makes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the just and the unjust.
46 Əgər sizi sevənləri sevirsinizsə, nə mükafatınız olacaq? Vergiyığanlar da belə etmirmi?
For if you show agapao ·total devoted love· those who show agapao ·total devoted love· to you, what reward do you have? Don’t even the tax collectors do the same?
47 Əgər yalnız qardaşlarınızı salamlayırsınızsa, başqalarından artıq nə etmiş olursunuz? Bütpərəstlər də belə etmirmi?
If you only greet your friends, what more do you do than others? Don’t even the tax collectors do the same?
48 Ona görə də Səmavi Atanız kamil olduğu kimi siz də kamil olun.
Therefore you shall be perfect, just as 'Avikah shebashamayim ·your Father in Heaven· is perfect.
