1 O zaman Səmavi Padşahlıq çıraqlarını götürüb bəyin qarşısına çıxan on qıza bənzəyəcək.
The kingdom of heaven is like ten girls, who took their lamps with them to go and meet the bridegroom.
2 Onlardan beşi ağıllı, beşi isə ağılsız idi.
Five were foolish, and five were wise.
3 Ağılsızlar özləri ilə çıraqlarını götürmüşdü, amma yağ götürməmişdi.
The foolish girls took their lamps but didn't take any oil with them,
4 Ağıllılarsa çıraqları ilə birgə qablarda yağ da götürmüşdü.
while the wise took jars of oil with them as well as their lamps.
5 Lakin bəy gecikdiyindən hamısını yuxu basdı və onlar yatdı.
The bridegroom took a long time and all the girls became drowsy and fell asleep.
6 Amma gecə yarısı bir qışqırıq qopdu: “Budur, bəy gəlir, onu qarşılamağa çıxın!”
At midnight the shout came, ‘Look, the bridegroom's here! Come out and meet him!’
7 O zaman o qızların hamısı durub öz çıraqlarını düzəltdilər.
All the girls got up and trimmed the wicks of their lamps. The foolish girls said to the wise ones,
8 Ağılsızlar ağıllılara dedi: “Yağınızdan bizə də verin, çünki çıraqlarımız sönür”.
‘Give us some of your oil, because our lamps are going out.’ But the wise girls replied,
9 Ağıllılarsa cavab verib dedilər: “Belə olmasın ki, yağ nə bizə çatsın, nə sizə. Yaxşısı budur ki, gedib satıcılardan alasınız”.
‘No, because otherwise there won't be enough for both you and for us. Go to the shopkeepers and buy some oil for yourselves.’
10 Onlar yağ satın almağa getdikləri zaman bəy gəldi. Hazır olanlar onunla toy məclisinə girdilər və qapı bağlandı.
While they went to buy oil, the bridegroom arrived, and those who were ready went in with him to the wedding, and the door was locked shut.
11 O biri qızlar da sonradan gəlib “Ağa! Ağa! Qapını bizə aç!” dedilər.
The other girls came later. ‘Lord, Lord,’ they called, ‘Open the door for us!’
12 O isə cavab verib dedi: “Sizə doğrusunu deyirəm: sizi tanımıram”.
But he answered, ‘I tell you the truth: I don't know you.’
13 Beləliklə, oyaq olun. Çünki siz nə günü, nə də saatı bilirsiniz.
So stay alert, for you don't know the day, or the hour.
14 Səmavi Padşahlıq səyahətə çıxan bir adama bənzəyir. O, qullarını çağırıb əmlakını onlara əmanət etdi.
It's like a man who went away on a trip. He called in his servants and entrusted them with what he owned.
15 O hər birinə öz qabiliyyətinə görə – birinə beş, birinə iki, birinə də bir talant verdi və yola düşdü.
To one of them he gave five talents, to another he gave two, and to another one, according to their different abilities. Then he left.
16 Beş talant alan dərhal gedib bunları sərmayəyə qoydu, daha beş talant qazandı.
Immediately the one with five talents went and invested them in a business, and made another five talents.
17 İki talant alan da beləcə daha iki talant qazandı.
In the same way the one with two talents made another two.
18 Bir talant alansa gedib torpağı qazdı və ağasının pulunu gizlətdi.
But the man who'd received the one talent went off and dug a hole and hid his master's money.
19 Uzun zamandan sonra həmin qulların ağası gəldi və onlardan hesabat tələb etdi.
A long time later the master of those servants returned, and settled accounts with them.
20 Beş talant alan gəlib daha beş talant gətirərək dedi: “Ağa, sən mənə beş talant əmanət etdin. Budur, mən daha beş talant qazandım”.
The one with five talents came and presented the other five talents. ‘Master,’ he said, ‘You gave me five talents. Look, I've made a profit of five talents.’
21 Ağası ona dedi: “Afərin, yaxşı və sadiq qulum! Sən xırda işlərdə sadiq oldun, səni böyük işlər üzərinə qoyacağam. Ağanın sevincinə şərik ol!”
His master said to him, ‘You've done well—you are a good, faithful servant. You have proved yourself trustworthy over small things, so now I'm placing you in charge over many things. Be happy because I'm really pleased with you!’
22 İki talant alan da gəlib dedi: “Ağa, mənə iki talant əmanət etdin. Budur, mən daha iki talant qazandım”.
The one with two talents also came. ‘Master,’ he said, ‘You gave me two talents. Look, I've made a profit of two talents.’
23 Ağası ona dedi: “Afərin, yaxşı və sadiq qulum! Sən xırda işlərdə sadiq oldun, səni böyük işlər üzərinə qoyacağam. Ağanın sevincinə şərik ol!”
His master said to him, ‘You've done well—you are a good, faithful servant. You have proved trustworthy over small things, so now I'm placing you in charge over many things. Be happy because I'm really pleased with you!’
24 Bir talant alan da gəlib dedi: “Ağa, sənin sərt bir adam olduğunu bilirdim. Əkmədiyin yerdən biçərsən, səpmədiyin yerdən yığarsan.
Then the man with one talent came. ‘Master,’ he said, ‘I know that you're a hard man. You reap where you didn't sow, and you harvest crops that you didn't plant.
25 Ona görə qorxdum, gedib sənin talantını torpaqda gizlətdim. Buyur, öz malını geri götür!”
So since I was afraid of you I went and buried your talent in the ground. Look, you can have back what belongs to you.’
26 Ağası isə cavab verib ona dedi: “Pis və tənbəl qul! Mənim əkmədiyim yerdən biçdiyimi və səpmədiyim yerdən yığdığımı bilirdinmi?
But his master answered him, ‘You wicked and lazy servant! If you think I reap where I don't sow, and harvest crops I didn't plant,
27 Onda gərək mənim pulumu sərraflara verəydin ki, mən qayıdanda onu faizlə geri alım.
then you should have deposited my silver in the bank so that when I returned I could have had my money with interest.
28 İndi əlindəki talantı ondan alın və on talantı olana verin!
Take the talent away from him, and give it to the one with ten talents.
29 Çünki kimin varıdırsa, daha çox veriləcək və o, bolluq içində olacaq, kimin yoxudursa, əlində olan da ondan alınacaq.
For everyone who has will be given even more; and everyone who doesn't have anything, even what they have will be taken away from them.
30 Yaramaz qulu isə qaranlıq çölə atın. Orada ağlaşma və diş qıcırtısı olacaq”.
Now throw this useless servant out into the darkness where there'll be crying and gnashing of teeth.’
31 Bəşər Oğlu bütün mələklərlə birlikdə izzəti ilə gələn zaman Öz izzətli taxtına oturacaq.
But when the Son of man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, then he will sit on his majestic throne.
32 Bütün millətlər Onun önündə toplaşacaq, O da qoyunları keçilərdən ayıran bir çoban kimi onları bir-birindən ayıracaq.
Everyone will be brought before him. He will separate them from one another, as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats.
33 Qoyunları sağına, keçiləri isə soluna qoyacaq.
He'll place the sheep on his right hand, and the goats on his left.
34 O zaman Padşah sağındakılara deyəcək: “Ey sizlər, Atamın xeyir-dua verdiyi adamlar! Gəlin, dünya yaranandan bəri sizin üçün hazırlanmış olan Padşahlığı irs alın.
Then the king will say to the ones on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father, and inherit the kingdom that's been prepared for you from the beginning of the world.
35 Çünki ac idim, Mənə yemək verdiniz; susamışdım, Mənə su verdiniz; qərib idim, Məni qəbul etdiniz;
For I was hungry, and you gave me food to eat. I was thirsty, and you gave me a drink. I was a stranger and you invited me in.
36 çılpaq idim, Məni geyindirdiniz; xəstə idim, qayğımı çəkdiniz; zindanda idim, yanıma gəldiniz”.
I was naked and you clothed me. I was sick and you looked after me. I was in prison and you visited me.’
37 Onda salehlər Ona cavab verib deyəcəklər: “Ya Rəbb, biz Səni nə vaxt ac görüb yemək verdik və ya susamış görüb su verdik?
Then those who are right will answer, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and fed you, or thirsty and gave you a drink?
38 Nə vaxt Səni qərib görüb qəbul etdik və ya çılpaq görüb geyindirdik?
When did we see you as a stranger and invite you in, or naked and clothe you?
39 Nə vaxt Səni xəstə və ya zindanda görüb yanına gəldik?”
When did we see you sick, or in prison, and visit you?’
40 Padşah da cavab verib onlara deyəcək: “Sizə doğrusunu deyirəm: siz bu ən kiçik qardaşlarımdan birinə etdiyinizi Mənə etmiş oldunuz”.
The king will tell them, ‘I tell you the truth: whatever you did for one of these of least importance you did for me.’
41 O zaman solundakılara deyəcək: “Ey lənətə gəlmişlər, çəkilin önümdən! İblislə onun mələklərinə hazırlanmış olan əbədi oda yollanın! (aiōnios g166)
He'll also say to those on his left, ‘Go away from me, you who are doomed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels! (aiōnios g166)
42 Çünki ac idim, Mənə yemək vermədiniz; susamışdım, Mənə su vermədiniz;
For I was hungry and you didn't give me anything to eat. I was thirsty and you didn't give me a drink.
43 qərib idim, Məni qəbul etmədiniz; çılpaq idim, Məni geyindirmədiniz; xəstə və zindanda idim, qayğımı çəkmədiniz”.
I was a stranger and you didn't invite me in. I was naked and you didn't clothe me. I was sick and in prison and you didn't visit me.’
44 Onda onlar da cavab verib deyəcəklər: “Ya Rəbb, Səni nə vaxt ac, susamış, qərib, çılpaq, xəstə və yaxud zindanda gördük ki, Sənə xidmət etmədik?”
Then they will also answer, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry, or thirsty, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and didn't look after you?’
45 O zaman onlara cavab verib deyəcək: “Sizə doğrusunu deyirəm: siz bu ən kiçiklərdən birinə etmədiyinizi Mənə etməmiş oldunuz”.
Then he will tell them, ‘I tell you the truth: whatever you didn't do for one of these of least importance you didn't do for me.’
