1 Rəbbin qəzəb dəyənəyindən Mən əzab çəkirəm,
I am the man, that hath seene affliction in the rod of his indignation.
2 O məni apardı, İşıqda deyil, qaranlıqda gəzdirdi.
He hath ledde mee, and brought me into darkenes, but not to light.
3 Bütün gün – dəfələrlə qaldırdığı əli Mənə qarşıdır.
Surely he is turned against me: he turneth his hand against me all the day.
4 Ətimi, dərimi çürütdü, Sümüklərimi sındırdı.
My flesh and my skinne hath he caused to waxe olde, and he hath broken my bones.
5 Məni əzabla, cəfa ilə sarıdı, Mühasirəyə saldı.
He hath builded against me, and compassed me with gall, and labour.
6 Çoxdan ölüb-gedənlər kimi Məni zülmətdə yaşatdı.
He hath set me in darke places, as they that be dead for euer.
7 Ətrafımı hər tərəfdən hasara aldı, Məni zəncirləyib, qaça bilmirəm.
He hath hedged about mee, that I cannot get out: he hath made my chaines heauy.
8 Fəryad edib mən imdad istəyərkən O, duamın qarşısına sədd çəkdi.
Also when I cry and showte, hee shutteth out my prayer.
9 Yonma daşlarla yollarımı kəsdi, Onları dolaşdırdı.
He hath stopped vp my wayes with hewen stone, and turned away my paths.
10 Mənə ayı kimi pusqu düzəldir, Gizlənib aslan kimi məni güdür.
He was vnto me as a beare lying in waite, and as a Lion in secret places.
11 Yoldan sürükləyib məni parçaladı, Çarəsiz hala saldı.
He hath stopped my wayes, and pulled me in pieces: he hath made me desolate.
12 Kamanının yayını çəkdi, Məni Özü üçün bir hədəf etdi.
He hath bent his bow and made me a marke for the arrow.
13 Çəkib oxdanından ox atdı, Böyrəyimə sapladı.
Hee caused the arrowes of his quiuer to enter into my reines.
14 Gün boyu xalqımın gülüş hədəfinə döndüm, Məzhəkəli nəğmə ilə məni ələ salırlar.
I was a derision to all my people, and their song all the day.
15 O, acı otlardan mənə doyunca yedirtdi, Yovşan suyunu içirtdi.
He hath filled me with bitternes, and made me drunken with wormewood.
16 Dişlərimi çınqılla qırdı, Kül içində məni diz çökdürtdü.
He hath also broken my teeth with stones, and hath couered me with ashes.
17 Salamatlıqdan canımı uzaq etdi, Yaxşılığı unutdum.
Thus my soule was farre off from peace: I forgate prosperitie,
18 Dedim: «Üzərimdən əzəmətim getdi, Rəbdən ümidim kəsildi».
And I saide, My strength and mine hope is perished from the Lord,
19 Əzabımı və sərgərdanlığımı, Acı yovşanı və zəhəri yada sal.
Remembring mine affliction, and my mourning, the wormewood and the gall.
20 Daim onları xatırlayıram, Ona görə köksümdən ürəyim üzülür.
My soule hath them in remembrance, and is humbled in me.
21 Amma bunları yada salarkən Məndə ümid yaranır.
I consider this in mine heart: therefore haue I hope.
22 Rəbbin məhəbbətinə görə məhv olmadıq, Çünki mərhəməti tükənməzdir.
It is the Lordes mercies that wee are not consumed, because his compassions faile not.
23 Hər səhər bunlar təzələnir, Sənin sədaqətin böyükdür.
They are renued euery morning: great is thy faithfulnesse.
24 Öz-özümə deyirəm: «Rəbb mənim nəsibimdir», Ona görə Rəbbə ümid bəsləyirəm.
The Lord is my portion, sayth my soule: therefore wil I hope in him.
25 Rəbb Ona güvənənlərə, Onu axtaran könüllərə xeyirxahdır.
The Lord is good vnto them, that trust in him, and to the soule that seeketh him.
26 Rəbbə ümid bəsləmək, Sakitcə bizə qurtuluş verməsini gözləmək nə yaxşıdır.
It is good both to trust, and to waite for the saluation of the Lord.
27 Yaxşı olar ki, insan Boyunduruğunu gənc yaşından daşısın.
It is good for a man that he beare the yoke in his youth.
28 Qoy susub tənha otursun, Axı Rəbb boynuna boyunduruq salıb.
He sitteth alone, and keepeth silence, because he hath borne it vpon him.
29 Üzünü yerə sürtsün, Bəlkə hələ ümid var.
He putteth his mouth in the dust, if there may be hope.
30 İzin versin, qoy sifətinə vursunlar, Qoy ona doyunca böhtan atsınlar.
Hee giueth his cheeke to him that smiteth him: he is filled full with reproches.
31 Çünki Xudavənd əbədilik Bizi Özündən kənar etməz.
For the Lord will not forsake for euer.
32 Qəm-qüssə versə belə, Bol məhəbbətinə görə rəhmə gələr.
But though he sende affliction, yet will he haue compassion according to the multitude of his mercies.
33 Çünki ürəkdən istəyərək bəşər övladlarına əzab verməz, Heç kimi kədərləndirməz.
For he doeth not punish willingly, nor afflict the children of men,
34 Dünyadakı bütün əsirlərin ayaq altında əzilməsini,
In stamping vnder his feete all the prisoners of the earth,
35 Haqq-Taalanın hüzurunda insanın Öz haqlarından məhrum olmasını,
In ouerthrowing the right of a man before the face of the most high,
36 İnsanın ədalətdən məhrum olmasını Xudavənd heç görmürmü?
In subuerting a man in his cause: the Lord seeth it not.
37 Xudavənd əmr verməsə, Kimin dediyi həyata keçər?
Who is he then that sayth, and it commeth to passe, and the Lord commandeth it not?
38 Həm xeyir, həm də şər, Haqq-Taalanın əmri ilə gələr.
Out of the mouth of the most high proceedeth not euill and good?
39 Öz günahının cəzasından Sağ qalan insan niyə şikayətlənir?
Wherefore then is the liuing man sorowfull? man suffreth for his sinne.
40 Qoy yollarımıza diqqətlə baxaq, Rəbbə yenidən üz tutaq.
Let vs search and try our wayes, and turne againe to the Lord.
41 Göylərdəki Allaha əllərimizi, Həm də ürəklərimizi açaq.
Let vs lift vp our hearts with our handes vnto God in the heauens.
42 Deyək: «Biz qanunsuzluq və üsyankarlıq etdik, Bunu bizə bağışlamadın».
We haue sinned, and haue rebelled, therefore thou hast not spared.
43 Qəzəbə bürünmüsən, bizi təqib etmisən, Aman vermədən öldürmüsən.
Thou hast couered vs with wrath, and persecuted vs: thou hast slaine and not spared.
44 Özünə buludlardan örtük çəkdin, Onların arasından dua keçmir.
Thou hast couered thy selfe with a cloude, that our prayer should not passe through.
45 Xalqlar arasında Bizi zibilə, tullantıya çevirmisən.
Thou hast made vs as the ofscouring and refuse in the middes of the people.
46 Bütün düşmənlərimizin bizə qarşı Ağızları açıldı.
All our enemies haue opened their mouth against vs.
47 Dəhşət və çuxur, Məhv və qırğın birlikdə başımıza gəldi.
Feare, and a snare is come vpon vs with desolation and destruction.
48 Qırılan əziz xalqıma görə Gözlərimdən sel kimi yaş axdı.
Mine eye casteth out riuers of water, for the destruction of the daughter of my people.
49 Dinmədən, dayanmadan Gözlərimdən yaş axacaq,
Mine eye droppeth without stay and ceaseth not,
50 Rəbb göylərdən aşağıya baxana qədər, Olanları görənə qədər.
Till the Lord looke downe, and beholde from heauen.
51 Şəhərimdəki hər qızın taleyini görərkən Ürəyimi kədər bürüyür.
Mine eye breaketh mine heart because of all the daughters of my citie.
52 Nahaq yerə mənə düşmən olanlar Məni quş tək ovladılar.
Mine enemies chased me sore like a birde, without cause.
53 Quyuya salıb məni öldürmək istədilər, Daşqalaq etdilər.
They haue shut vp my life in the dungeon, and cast a stone vpon me.
54 Sular başımdan aşdı, Dedim: «Ömrüm sona çatdı».
Waters flowed ouer mine head, then thought I, I am destroyed.
55 Ya Rəbb, ismini O quyunun dibindən səslədim.
I called vpon thy Name, O Lord, out of the lowe dungeon.
56 «Qulağını tıxama, fəryadımı dinlə» deyərkən Səsimi eşitdin.
Thou hast heard my voyce: stoppe not thine eare from my sigh and from my cry.
57 Səni çağıranda yanıma gəldin, Mənə «qorxma» söylədin.
Thou drewest neere in the day that I called vpon thee: thou saydest, Feare not.
58 Ey Xudavənd, mənim əməlimə baxdın, Həyatımı satın aldın.
O Lord, thou hast maintained the cause of my soule, and hast redeemed my life.
59 Ya Rəbb, başıma gətirdikləri şəri gördün, Bu iş barədə hökmünü ver.
O Lord, thou hast seene my wrong, iudge thou my cause.
60 Mənə bəslədikləri kini, Mənə qarşı qurulan fəndləri gördün.
Thou hast seene all their vengeance, and all their deuises against me.
61 Ya Rəbb, mənə etdikləri həqarəti eşitdin, Əleyhimə fənd qururlar.
Thou hast heard their reproch, O Lord, and all their imaginations against me:
62 Əleyhdarlarımın pıçıltısını, Gün boyu mənə qarşı mırıltısını eşitdin.
The lippes also of those that rose against me, and their whispering against me continually.
63 Onların oturuşuna-duruşuna bax, Onlara məzhəkə nəğməsi olmuşam.
Behold, their sitting downe and their rising vp, how I am their song.
64 Ya Rəbb, onların əllərinin əməllərinə görə Əvəzini verəcəksən.
Giue them a recompence, O Lord, according to the worke of their handes.
65 Onların qəlbini inadkar et, Qoy lənətin onların üstünə gəlsin.
Giue them sorow of heart, euen thy curse to them.
66 Ya Rəbb, qəzəbinlə onları qov, Səma altından məhv edib at!
Persecute with wrath and destroy them from vnder the heauen, O Lord.
