1 Həftənin ilk günü tezdən, hələ qaranlıq ikən Məcdəlli Məryəm qəbirin yanına gəldi. O gördü ki, daş qəbirin ağzından götürülüb.
Now on the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene went early, while it was still dark, to the tomb, and saw the stone taken away from the tomb.
2 Onda qaçıb Şimon Peterlə İsanın sevimlisi olan o biri şagirdin yanına gəldi və onlara dedi: «Rəbbi qəbirdən aparıblar və hara qoyulduğunu bilmirik».
Therefore she ran and came to Simon Peter, and to the other disciple whom Jesus loved, and said to them, "They have taken away the Lord out of the tomb, and we do not know where they have put him."

Therefore Peter and the other disciple went out, and they went toward the tomb.

They both ran together. The other disciple outran Peter, and came to the tomb first.

Stooping and looking in, he saw the linen cloths lying, yet he did not enter in.

Then Simon Peter came, following him, and entered into the tomb. He saw the linen cloths lying,

and the cloth that had been on his head, not lying with the linen cloths, but rolled up in a place by itself.

So then the other disciple who came first to the tomb also entered in, and he saw and believed.
9 Çünki onlar İsanın mütləq ölülər arasından diriləcəyini bildirən Müqəddəs Yazını hələ anlamırdılar.
For as yet they did not know the Scripture, that he must rise from the dead.
10 Beləcə şagirdlər yenə evlərinə qayıtdılar.
So the disciples went away again to their own homes.
11 Məryəm isə ağlayaraq qəbirin bayırında dayanmışdı. Ağlaya-ağlaya əyilib qəbirin içinə baxdı.
But Mary was standing outside at the tomb weeping. So, as she wept, she stooped and looked into the tomb,

and she saw two angels in white sitting, one at the head, and one at the feet, where the body of Jesus had lain.
13 Onlar Məryəmdən «Ey qadın, niyə ağlayırsan?» deyə soruşdu. Məryəm də onlara dedi: «Rəbbimi qəbirdən aparıblar və hara qoyduqlarını bilmirəm».
They told her, "Woman, why are you weeping?" She said to them, "Because they have taken away my Lord, and I do not know where they have put him."
14 Bunu deyəndən sonra arxaya dönüb İsanın orada dayandığını gördü, amma Onun İsa olduğunu bilmədi.
When she had said this, she turned around and saw Jesus standing, and did not know that it was Jesus.
15 İsa ondan soruşdu: «Ey qadın, niyə ağlayırsan? Kimi axtarırsan?» Məryəm Onun bağban olduğunu güman edərək dedi: «Ağa, əgər Onu Sən aparmısansa, hara qoyduğunu mənə söylə, mən də Onu götürüm».
Jesus said to her, "Woman, why are you weeping? Who are you looking for?" She, supposing him to be the gardener, said to him, "Sir, if you have carried him away, tell me where you have put him, and I will take him away."
16 İsa ona «Məryəm!» dedi. O da dönüb İsaya ibranicə «Rabbuni!» dedi. «Rabbuni» «Müəllim» deməkdir.
Jesus said to her, "Mary." She turned and said to him in Hebrew, "Rabboni." which is to say, "Teacher."
17 İsa ona dedi: «Mənə toxunma, çünki Mən hələ Atanın yanına qalxmamışam. Amma qardaşlarımın yanına gedib onlara söylə: Öz Atamın – sizin Atanızın, Öz Allahımın – sizin Allahınızın yanına qalxıram».
Jesus said to her, "Do not touch me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father; but go to my brothers, and tell them, 'I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.'"
18 Məcdəlli Məryəm şagirdlərin yanına gəldi, onlara «Rəbbi görmüşəm!» deyib onun özünə bunları söylədiyini bildirdi.
Mary Magdalene came and told the disciples, "I have seen the lord," and that he had said these things to her.

When therefore it was evening, on that day, the first day of the week, and when the doors were locked where the disciples were, for fear of the Jewish leaders, Jesus came and stood in the midst, and said to them, "Peace be to you."
20 Bunu söyləyib onlara əllərini və böyrünü göstərdi. Şagirdlər də Rəbbi görüb sevindilər.
When he had said this, he showed them his hands and his side. The disciples therefore were glad when they saw the Lord.
21 İsa yenə onlara dedi: «Sizə salam olsun! Ata Məni göndərdiyi kimi Mən də sizi göndərirəm».
Jesus therefore said to them again, "Peace be to you. As the Father has sent me, even so I send you."
22 Bunu söylədikdən sonra onların üzərinə üfürərək dedi: «Müqəddəs Ruhu alın!
When he had said this, he breathed on them, and said to them, "Receive the Holy Spirit.
23 Kimin günahlarını bağışlasanız, bağışlanır, kimin günahlarını bağışlamasanız, bağışlanmamış qalır».
Whoever's sins you forgive, they are forgiven them. Whoever's sins you retain, they have been retained."
24 Lakin On İki şagirddən biri «Əkiz» adlanan Tomas İsa gələndə onların yanında deyildi.
But Thomas, one of the twelve, called Didymus, was not with them when Jesus came.
25 O biri şagirdlər Tomasa «Rəbbi gördük» deyəndə onlara söylədi: «Əgər Onun əllərində mıxların açdığı yaraları görməsəm, mıxların yerinə barmağımla toxunmasam, böyrünə də əlimi qoymasam, buna heç inanmaram».
The other disciples therefore said to him, "We have seen the Lord." But he said to them, "Unless I see in his hands the mark of the nails, and put my finger into the mark of the nails, and put my hand into his side, I will not believe."
26 Səkkiz gündən sonra İsanın şagirdləri yenə otaqda toplaşanda Tomas da onların yanında idi. Qapılar bağlı olsa da, İsa içəri girdi. O ortada durub «Sizə salam olsun!» dedi.
After eight days again his disciples were inside, and Thomas was with them. Jesus came, the doors being locked, and stood in the midst, and said, "Peace be to you."
27 Bundan sonra Tomasa söylədi: «Barmağını buraya uzat, əllərimə bax, əlini də uzat, böyrümə qoy. İmansız olma, imanlı ol!»
Then he said to Thomas, "Put your finger here, and observe my hands. Reach out your hand, and put it into my side; and do not be unbelieving, but believing."
28 Tomas cavab verib Ona «Ya Rəbbim və Allahım!» dedi.
Thomas answered and said to him, "My Lord and my God."
29 İsa ona dedi: «Sən Məni gördüyün üçünmü iman etdin? Görmədən iman edənlər nə bəxtiyardır!»
Jesus said to him, "Because you have seen me, you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen, and have believed."
30 İsa şagirdlərinin gözü önündə bir çox başqa əlamətlər də göstərdi ki, bu kitabda yazılmayıb.
Therefore Jesus did many other signs in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book;
31 Amma buradakılar onun üçün yazılıb ki, siz İsanın Məsih – Allahın Oğlu olduğuna inanasınız və iman edərək Onun adı ilə həyata malik olasınız.
but these are written, that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in his name.
