1 Şuahlı Bildad belə cavab verdi:

Then answered Bildad the Shuchite, and said,

2 «Səltənət və zəhm Allaha məxsusdur, Uca göylərdə nizam quran Odur.

Dominion and dread are with him: he maketh peace in high places.

3 Orduları saya gələrmi? İşığı kimin üzünə doğmaz?

Can the number of his hosts be given? and over whom riseth not his light?

4 Fani insan Allah qarşısında necə saleh ola bilər? Qadından doğulan necə təmiz ola bilər?

How then can man be justified with God? or how can be one that is born of woman?

5 Bax Onun gözündə ay belə, parlaq deyilsə, Ulduzlar belə, pak deyilsə,

Behold, even as regardeth the moon, that is not bright; yea, the stars are not pure in his eyes.

6 Torpaq qurduna bənzər fani insan necə ola bilər? Axı bəşər oğlu bir cücüyə bənzər».

How much less the mortal, the mere worm? and the son of earth, the mere maggot?
