Yezekel 18
1 Mənə Rəbbin bu sözü nazil oldu:
The word of Jehovah came to me again, saying:
2 «Siz İsrail torpağı üçün “Atalar kal üzüm yedi, Oğulların dişi qamaşır” məsəlini söyləyərək nə demək istəyirsiniz?
What mean ye, that ye use this proverb concerning the land of Israel, saying, “The fathers have eaten sour grapes, and the children's teeth are set on edge”?
3 Xudavənd Rəbb bəyan edir: “Varlığıma and olsun ki, daha siz İsraildə bu məsəli söyləməyəcəksiniz.
As I live, saith the Lord Jehovah, ye shall not have occasion any more to use this proverb in Israel.
4 Axı bütün adamlar Mənimdir: atanın canı Mənim olduğu kimi oğulun da canı Mənimdir. Yalnız günah işlədən adam öləcək.
Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son, is mine; the soul that sinneth, it shall die.
5 Əgər bir adam salehdirsə, Ədalətli və saleh işlər görürsə,
But if a man be just, and do that which is lawful and right;
6 Dağlarda gətirilən qurbandan yemirsə, Gözlərini İsrail nəslinin bütlərinə dikmirsə, Qonşusunun arvadını ləkələmirsə, Aybaşı olan qadınla yaxınlıq etmirsə,
if he eat not upon the mountains, and lift not up his eyes to the idols of the house of Israel, and defile not his neighbor's wife, and come not near a woman during her uncleanness;
7 Kimsəyə haqsızlıq etmirsə, Borclunun girovunu qaytarırsa, Soyğunçuluq etmirsə, Ac olana çörək verirsə, Çılpaq olanı geyindirirsə,
if he oppress not any, if he restore to the debtor his pledge, spoil none by violence, give his bread to the hungry, and cover the naked with a garment;
8 Sələmlə borc pul vermirsə, Müamilə götürmürsə, Pis əməldən çəkinirsə, İki adam arasında ədalətlə mühakimə edirsə,
if he give not forth upon usury, and take not increase; if he withdraw his hand from iniquity, and give true judgment between man and man;
9 Mənim qaydalarıma görə rəftar edirsə, Hökmlərimə sədaqətlə əməl edirsə, Bu adam salehdir və Əlbəttə, yaşayacaq” Xudavənd Rəbb belə bəyan edir.
if he walk in my statutes and keep my commandments, to deal uprightly, —he is just; he shall surely live, saith the Lord Jehovah.
10 “Deyək ki bu adamın bir oğlu olur. Əgər bu oğul zorakılıq edib qan tökürsə, Soydaşına qarşı bu işlərdən birini görürsə,
But if he have a son that is a robber, a shedder of blood, and that doeth to his brother any of these things,
11 Atası bunlardan heç birini etmədiyi halda, Oğul dağlarda gətirilən qurbandan yeyirsə, Qonşusunun arvadını ləkələyirsə,
and doeth not all those duties, but eateth upon the mountains, and defileth his neighbor's wife,
12 Fəqirə və yoxsula haqsızlıq edirsə, Soyğunçuluq edirsə, Girovu qaytarmırsa, Gözlərini bütlərə dikirsə, İyrənc işlər görürsə,
oppresseth the poor and needy, spoileth by violence, restoreth not the pledge, lifteth up his eyes to idols, and committeth abomination,
13 Sələmlə borc pul verib müamilə götürürsə, Belə oğul yaşayacaqmı? Xeyr, o yaşamayacaq. Bütün bu iyrənc işləri gördüyü üçün öldürülməlidir. Ölümü üçün də özü məsuliyyət daşıyacaq.
giveth forth upon usury, and taketh increase, shall he live? No! he shall not live. He hath done all these abominations; he shall surely die; his blood shall be upon him.
14 Deyək ki bu oğulun da bir oğlu olur. Bu oğul atasının etdiyi bütün günahları görüb, Diqqət edərək belə işlər etmirsə,
Yet lo, if he have a son that seeth all the sins which his father committed, that seeth them and doeth not such like,
15 Dağlarda gətirilən qurbandan yemirsə, Gözlərini İsrail nəslinin bütlərinə dikmirsə, Qonşusunun arvadını ləkələmirsə,
that eateth not upon the mountains, nor lifteth up his eyes to the idols of the house of Israel, nor defileth his neighbor's wife,
16 Kimsəyə haqsızlıq etmirsə, Girov almırsa, Soyğunçuluq etmirsə, Ac olana çörək verirsə, Çılpaq olanı geyindirirsə,
nor oppresseth any, nor taketh a pledge, nor spoileth by violence, but giveth his food to the hungry, and covereth the naked with a garment,
17 Məzlumdan əl çəkirsə, Sələm almırsa, Müamilə götürmürsə, Hökmlərimə əməl edib Qaydalarıma görə rəftar edirsə, Atasının günahına görə ölməyəcək, Əlbəttə, yaşayacaq.
keepeth back his hand from the poor, and taketh no usury or increase, keepeth my commandments, and walketh in my statutes, he shall not die for the iniquity of his father; he shall surely live.
18 Bu oğulun atası isə İnsafsızlıqla qəddarlıq etdiyi üçün, Soydaşını qarət etdiyinə görə, Xalqı içində pis işlər gördüyü üçün Öz təqsirindən ötrü, əlbəttə, öləcək.
As for his father, because he cruelly oppressed, spoiled his brother by violence, and did that which is not good among his people, lo, he shall die for his iniquity.
19 Ancaq siz ‹atanın etdiyi təqsirin məsuliyyətini nə üçün oğul daşımasın?› deyirsiniz. Oğul ədalətli və saleh işlər gördü, bütün qaydalarıma riayət edib onlara əməl etdi. Əlbəttə, bu adam yaşayacaq.
Yet say ye, “Why? Doth not the son bear the iniquity of the father?” When the son doeth that which is lawful and right, keepeth all my statutes and doeth them, he shall surely live.
20 Yalnız günah işlədən adam öləcək. Oğul atanın təqsirinin məsuliyyətini daşımaz, ata da oğulun təqsirinin məsuliyyətini daşımaz. Saleh adam salehliyinin, pis adam isə pisliyinin əvəzini alacaq.
The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son. The righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him.
21 Pis adam etdiyi bütün günahlardan dönərsə, bütün qaydalarıma riayət edib ədalətli və saleh işlər görərsə, əlbəttə, ölməyib yaşayacaq.
But if the wicked will turn from all his sins which he hath committed, and keep all my statutes, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall surely live, he shall not die.
22 Etdiyi günahlardan heç biri onun ayağına yazılmayacaq, gördüyü saleh işlərlə yaşayacaq”.
None of his transgressions which he hath committed shall be remembered unto him; for his righteousness, which he hath done, he shall live.
23 Xudavənd Rəbb bəyan edir: “Elə bilirsiniz ki, Mən pis adamın ölümündən zövq alıram? İstəyirəm ki, o öz yolundan dönsün və yaşasın.
Have I any pleasure at all that the wicked should die, saith the Lord Jehovah, and not that he should turn from his ways and live?
24 Ancaq saleh adam öz salehliyindən dönüb pislik edərsə, pis adamın etdiyi bütün iyrənc işləri görərsə, yaşayacaqmı? Etdiyi saleh işlərindən heç biri onun ayağına yazılmayacaq. Etdiyi xainlik və işlədiyi günahından ötrü öləcək.
But when the righteous turneth from his righteousness, and committeth iniquity, and doeth according to all the abominations which the wicked man doeth, shall he live? All his righteousness which he hath done shall not be remembered; for his trespass which he hath trespassed, and for his sin which he hath sinned, for them shall he die.
25 Ancaq siz ‹Xudavəndin yolu düz deyil› deyirsiniz. Ey İsrail nəsli, indi qulaq asın: Mənimmi yolum düz deyil? Düz olmayan sizin yollarınız deyilmi?
Yet ye say, “The way of the Lord is not right.” Hear now, O house of Israel! “Is not my way right?” Is it not your ways that are not right?
26 Saleh adam öz salehliyindən dönüb pislik edərsə, buna görə öləcək. Bəli, etdiyi pisliyə görə öləcək.
When a righteous man turneth from his righteousness, and committeth iniquity, and on this account dieth, for his iniquity which he hath done doth he die.
27 Pis adam da etdiyi pislikdən dönüb ədalətli və saleh işlər görərsə, öz həyatını qoruyar.
And when the wicked man turneth from his iniquity which he hath committed, and doeth that which is lawful and right, he shall save his soul alive.
28 Bir halda ki diqqət edib elədiyi bütün günahlardan dönürsə, əlbəttə, ölməyib yaşayacaq.
Because he considereth and turneth from all his transgressions which he hath committed, he shall surely live, he shall not die.
29 Ancaq İsrail nəsli ‹Xudavəndin yolu düz deyil› deyir. Ey İsrail nəsli, Mənimmi yollarım düz deyil? Düz olmayan sizin yollarınız deyilmi?
Yet saith the house of Israel, “The way of the Lord is not right.” O house of Israel, are not my ways right? Is it not your ways that are not right?
30 Buna görə, ey İsrail nəsli, sizin hər birinizi əməllərinizə görə mühakimə edəcəyəm” Xudavənd Rəbb belə bəyan edir. “Tövbə edib bütün günahlarınızdan dönün ki, təqsir sizi məhvə sürükləməsin.
Therefore I will judge you, O house of Israel, every one according to his ways, saith the Lord Jehovah. Turn ye, turn yourselves from all your transgressions, so that iniquity may not be your ruin.
31 Etdiyiniz günahların hamısını üstünüzdən götürün, özünüzdə yeni ürək və yeni ruh yaradın. Nə üçün öləsiniz, ey İsrail nəsli?”
Cast away from you all your transgressions which ye have committed, and make you a new heart, and a new spirit! For why will ye die, O house of Israel?
32 Xudavənd Rəbb bəyan edir: “Mən məhv olacaq adamın ölümündən zövq almıram. Buna görə də günahlardan dönün və yaşayın”.
For I have no pleasure in the death of him that dieth, saith the Lord Jehovah. Wherefore turn yourselves and live!
