1 İordan çayının şərq tərəfində səhrada Paranla Tofel, Lavan, Xaserot və Di-Zahav arasında, Sufun qarşısında olan Arava vadisində Musanın bütün İsraillilərə söylədiyi sözlər bunlar idi:
These are the words which Moses spoke unto all Israel on this side of the Jordan, in the wilderness, in the plain opposite Suph, between Paran, and Tophel, and Laban, and Chazeroth, and Di-zahab.
2 Seir dağının yolu ilə getmək üçün Xorevdən Qadeş-Barneaya qədər on bir günlük yol var idi.
It is a journey of eleven days from Horeb by the way of mount Seir unto Kadesh-barnea'.
3 Misirdən çıxdıqlarının qırxıncı ilində, on birinci ayın birində Musa Rəbbin İsrail övladları üçün ona əmr etdiyi hər şeyi söylədi.
And it came to pass in the fortieth year, in the eleventh month, on the first day of the month, that Moses spoke unto the children of Israel, according to all that the Lord had commanded him concerning them;
4 Musa Xeşbonda yaşayan Emorluların padşahı Sixonu və Aştarotda, Edreidə yaşayan Başan padşahı Oqu məğlub edəndən sonra bu nitqi söylədi.
After he had smitten Sichon the king of the Emorites, who dwelt in Cheshbon, and 'Og the king of Bashan, who dwelt at 'Ashtaroth in Edre'i.
5 İordan çayının şərq tərəfində yerləşən Moav torpağında Musa bu Qanunu izah etməyə başladı.
On this side of the Jordan, in the land of Moab, began Moses to explain this law, saying,
6 «Xorevdə olanda Allahımız Rəbb bizə belə dedi: “Bəsdir bu dağda yaşadığınız!
The Lord our God spoke unto us in Horeb, saying, Ye have tarried long enough at this mount;
7 Qalxın buradan köçüb Emorluların dağlıq bölgəsinə, Arava vadisində, dağlarda, yamaclı-düzənlikli bölgədə, Negevdə və dəniz kənarında yaşayan bütün qonşu xalqların arasına, böyük Fərat çayına qədər uzanan Kənan torpağına və Livana gedin.
Turn you, and take your journey, and go to the mountain of the Emorites, and unto all its neighboring places, in the plain, in the mountain, and in the lowlands, and in the southern country, and by the coast of the sea, to the land of the Canaanites, and unto the Lebanon, up to the great river, the river Euphrates.
8 Sizin qarşınıza çıxardığım torpaq budur. Rəbbin atalarınıza – İbrahimə, İshaqa, Yaquba özləri üçün və özlərindən sonra gələn övladları üçün vəd etdiyi bu torpağa girərək oranı özünüzə mülk edin”.
Behold, I have given up the land before you: go in and take possession of the land which the Lord hath sworn unto your fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give it unto them and to their seed after them.
9 O vaxt mən sizə belə dedim: “Təkbaşına sizin yükünüzü daşıya bilmərəm.
And I said unto you at that time, as followeth, I am not able alone to bear you:
10 Allahınız Rəbb sizi çoxaltdı və budur, bu gün siz göydəki ulduzlar qədər çoxsunuz.
The Lord your God hath multiplied you, and, behold, ye are this day as the stars of heaven for multitude.
11 Qoy atalarınızın Allahı Rəbbin söylədiyi kimi olsun, sizə xeyir-dua verərək olduğunuzdan min qat artıq etsin.
May the Lord the God of your fathers make you a thousand times as many more as ye are; and bless you, as he hath spoken unto you.
12 Axı mən təkbaşına zəhmətinizə, əziyyətinizə və münaqişələrinizə necə tab gətirim?
How can I by myself alone bear your cumbrance, and your burden, and your strife!
13 Özünüz üçün hər qəbilədən müdrik, uzaqgörən və təcrübəli adamlar seçin. Mən onları sizə başçı təyin edəcəyəm”.
Furnish for yourselves wise and understanding men, and those known among your tribes, and I will place them as chiefs over you.
14 Siz də “sən deyən yaxşıdır” dediniz.
And ye answered me, and said, The thing which thou hast spoken is good to do.
15 Mən qəbilələrinizin müdrik və təcrübəli ağsaqqallarından götürüb sizə minbaşı, yüzbaşı, əllibaşı, onbaşı və qəbilə məmurları təyin etdim.
And I took the chiefs of your tribes, wise and known men, and I set them as heads over you, captains over thousands, and captains over hundreds, and captains over fifties, and captains over tens, and as officers for your tribes.
16 O vaxt hakimlərinizə belə əmr etdim: “Aralarında münaqişəsi olan soydaşlarınızı dinləyin. Münaqişə istər İsrailli soydaşlarınız arasında, istərsə bir İsrailli ilə yadelli arasında olsun, hökm çıxararkən ədalətli olun.
And I commanded your judges at that time, saying, Hear the causes between your brethren, and judge righteously, between a man and his brother, and between his stranger.
17 Heç kimə tərəfkeşlik etmədən kiçiyi də böyük kimi dinləyərək hökm çıxarın. İnsan şəxsiyyətindən qorxmayın, hökm Allahındır. Sizin üçün çətin olan münaqişəli məsələləri isə mənim yanıma gətirin. Mən onlara qulaq asaram”.
Ye shall not respect persons in judgment; the small as well as the great shall ye hear; ye shall not be afraid of any man; for the judgment belongeth to God: and the cause that is too hard for you shall ye bring unto me, and I will hear it.
18 O vaxt edəcəyiniz şeylərin hamısını sizə əmr etdim.
And I commanded you at that time all the things which ye should do.
19 Sonra biz Xorevdən köçdük. Allahımız Rəbbin bizə əmr etdiyi kimi gördüyünüz böyük və qorxunc səhranı keçərək Emorluların dağlıq bölgəsinə tərəf köçüb Qadeş-Barneaya çatdıq.
And we departed from Horeb, and we went through all that great and terrible wilderness, which ye have seen, by the way of the mountain of the Emorites, as the Lord our God had commanded us; and we came as far as Kadesh-barnea'.
20 Mən orada sizə dedim: “Allahınız Rəbbin bizə verdiyi Emorluların dağlıq bölgəsinə çatdınız.
And I said unto you, Ye are come unto the mountain of the Emorites, which the Lord our God doth give unto us.
21 Budur, Allahınız Rəbb torpağı sizə verdi. Atalarınızın Allahı Rəbbin sizə söylədiyi kimi qalxın, oranı mülk edin. Heç nədən qorxub çəkinməyin”.
Behold, the Lord thy God hath given up the land before thee: go up and take possession of it, as the Lord the God of thy fathers hath spoken unto thee; do not fear, and be not discouraged.
22 O zaman hamınız yanıma gəlib dediniz: “Adamlar göndərək, qoy əvvəlcə torpağı onlar nəzərdən keçirsinlər. Qoy gedəcəyimiz yol və çatacağımız şəhərlər barədə bizə məlumat gətirsinlər”.
And ye all came near unto me and said, Let us send out men before us, that they may search out for us the land, and bring us word again concerning the way by which we must go up, and the cities to which we shall come.
23 Bu fikir xoşuma gəldi. Hər qəbilədən bir nəfər olmaqla aranızdan on iki nəfər götürdüm.
And the thing was pleasing in my eyes; and I took of you twelve men, one man for every tribe:
24 Onlar dağlıq bölgəsinə qalxdılar. Eşkol vadisinə qədər gəlib oranı gözdən keçirdilər.
And they turned and went up into the mountain, and came unto the valley of Eshcol, and spied it out.
25 Bu torpağın məhsullarından əllərinə götürüb yanımıza qayıtdılar və belə məlumat verdilər: “Allahımız Rəbbin bizə vermək istədiyi münbit torpaqdır”.
And they took in their hand some of the fruit of the land, and brought it down unto us; and they brought us word again, and said, The land which the Lord our God doth give us is good.
26 Siz isə Allahımız Rəbbin əmrinə qarşı çıxaraq oraya qalxmaq istəmədiniz.
But you would not go up, and ye rebelled against the order of the Lord your God;
27 Öz çadırlarınızda deyindiniz: “Rəbb bizə nifrət edir. Bizi Misir ölkəsindən ona görə çıxartdı ki, Emorlulara təslim etsin və həlak etsin.
And ye murmured in your tents, and said, On account of the hatred of the Lord toward us, hath he brought us forth out of the land of Egypt, to deliver us into the hand of the Emorites, to destroy us.
28 Axı biz hara gedirik? Soydaşlarımız ‹o xalq sayca bizdən çox və ucaboydur, böyük şəhərləri, göyə çatan hasarları var, Anaqlıları da orada gördük› deyə-deyə bizdə ürək qoymadılar”.
Whither shall we go up? our brethren have made faint our heart, saying, The people is greater and taller than we; the cities are great and fortified up to heaven; and moreover the sons of the 'Anakim have we seen there.
29 Onda mən sizə dedim: “Onlardan qorxub çəkinməyin.
And I said unto you, Have no dread, nor be ye afraid of them.
30 Allahınız Rəbb qarşınızca gedir. Sizin üçün Özü döyüşəcək. Misirdə və səhrada gözünüz qarşısında sizin üçün etdiyi hər şeyi yenə də edəcəkdir.
The Lord your God who goeth before you, he it is who will fight for you; all just as he did for you in Egypt before your eyes;
31 İnsan öz balasını apardığı kimi səhradan bu yerə çatana qədər Allahınız Rəbbin də sizi elə apardığını gördünüz”.
And in the wilderness which thou hast seen, where the Lord thy God bore thee, as a man doth bear his son, on all the way that ye have gone, until ye came unto this place.
32 Buna baxmayaraq, sizə düşərgə salmağa yer axtarmaq və gedəcəyiniz yolu göstərmək üçün gecə alovla, gündüz buludla
Yet in this thing do ye not believe in the Lord your God,
33 qarşınızca yol gedən Rəbbə etibar etmədiniz.
Who goeth before you on the way to seek out for you a place for your encamping, in fire by night, to cause you to see on the way in which ye are to go, and in a cloud by day.
34 Rəbb bu danışığınızı eşidib qəzəbləndi və and içərək dedi:
And the Lord heard the voice of your words; and he was wroth, and swore, saying,
35 “Atalarınıza vermək üçün and etdiyim bu gözəl torpağı Yefunne oğlu Kalevdən başqa bu iyrənc nəslin adamlarından heç biri görməyəcək.
Surely there shall not one of these men of this evil generation see that good land, which I have sworn to give unto your fathers;
36 Oranı Kalev görəcək. Tamamilə Rəbbin ardınca getdiyi üçün ayaq basdığı torpağı ona və övladlarına verəcəyəm”.
Save Caleb the son of Yephunneh, he shall see it, and to him will I give the land upon which he hath trodden, and to his children; because he hath wholly followed the Lord.
37 Sizin ucbatınızdan Rəbb mənə də qəzəbləndi və belə dedi: “Sən də oraya girməyəcəksən.
also with me was the Lord angry for your sakes, saying, also thou shalt not go in thither.
38 Oraya sənin köməkçin Nun oğlu Yeşua girəcək. Onu cəsarətləndir, çünki torpağı İsraillilərə irs olaraq o böləcək.
Joshua the son of Nun, who standeth before thee, he shall go in thither: him encourage; for he shall cause Israel to inherit it.
39 ‹Əsir olacaqlar› dediyiniz balalarınız, yaxşını pisdən hələ ayıra bilməyən uşaqlarınız oraya girəcəklər. Ölkəni onlara verəcəyəm, oranı onlar mülk olaraq alacaqlar.
And your little ones, of whom ye said, They will become a prey, and your children who know not this day either good or evil, these shall go in thither; and unto them will I give it, and they shall possess it.
40 Siz isə dönüb Qırmızı dəniz yolundan səhraya köçün”.
But as for you, turn you, and take your journey into the wilderness by the way of the Red Sea.
41 Sonra siz mənə belə cavab verdiniz: “Rəbbə qarşı günah etdik. Allahımız Rəbbin bizə etdiyi əmrə əsasən çıxıb döyüşəcəyik”. Hamınız dağlığa çıxmağın asan olduğunu düşünərək döyüş silahlarına sarıldınız.
And ye answered and said unto me, We have sinned against the Lord; we indeed will go up and we will fight, according to all that the Lord our God hath commanded us; and ye girded on every man his weapons of war, and ye insisted to go up into the mountain.
42 Rəbb mənə dedi: “Onlara de ki, aralarında Mən yoxam. Döyüşə çıxmasınlar, yoxsa düşmənlərinə məğlub olarlar”.
And the Lord said unto me, Say unto them, Go not up, and do not fight; for I am not among you; lest ye be smitten before your enemies.
43 Siz isə mənim sözümə qulaq asmadınız. Rəbbin əmrinə qarşı çıxaraq döyüşə çıxmağa cürət etdiniz.
And I spoke unto you; but ye would not hear; and ye rebelled against the order of the Lord, and you were presumptuous, and went up into the mountain.
44 Bu dağlıq bölgəsində yaşayan Emorlular müqavimət göstərərək sizi arı kimi qovdular və sizi Seirdən Xormaya qədər qırdılar.
And the Emorites, who dwelt in that mountain: came out against you, and they pursued you, as the bees do, and they overthrew you in Seir, as far as Chormah.
45 Belə olanda qayıdıb Rəbbin hüzurunda ağladınız, lakin Rəbb səsinizi eşitmədi və sizə qulaq asmadı.
And ye returned and wept before the Lord; but the Lord hearkened not to your voice, nor gave ear unto you.
46 Uzun müddət yerinizdəcə – Qadeşdə qaldınız.
And ye tarried in Kadesh many days, according unto the days that ye tarried there.
