Amos 3
1 Ey İsraillilər! Rəbbin əleyhinizə dediyi sözü dinləyin! Misir torpağından çıxardığı bu nəslin hamısına belə deyir:
Hear this word that Yhwh hath spoken against you, O children of Israel, against the whole family which I brought up from the land of Egypt, saying,
2 “Yer üzündəki nəsillərin arasında yalnız sizinlə ünsiyyət yaratmışam. Ona görə Mən bütün cəzanızı öz başınıza gətirəcəyəm”.
You only have I known of all the families of the earth: therefore I will punish you for all your iniquities.
3 İki nəfər razılaşıb görüşməsə, Birgə yol gedərmi?
Can two walk together, except they be agreed?
4 Şikarı olmayan şir Meşədə nərə çəkərmi? Heç nə ovlamamış gənc aslan Yuvasında nərildəyərmi?
Will a lion roar in the forest, when he hath no prey? will a young lion cry out of his den, if he have taken nothing?
5 Yerdə tələ qurub yem qoyulmazsa, Oraya quş düşərmi? Bir şey tutmayan tələ Yerindən atılarmı?
Can a bird fall in a snare upon the earth, where no gin is for him? shall one take up a snare from the earth, and have taken nothing at all?
6 Şəhərdə şeypur çalınarsa, Xalq qorxuya düşməzmi? Əgər Rəbb bəla göndərməsə, Hansısa bir şəhərə bəla gələrmi?
Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, And Yhwh hath not done it?
7 Həqiqətən, Xudavənd Rəbb qulu olan peyğəmbərlərə Öz niyyətini açmadan heç nə etmir.
Surely the Lord Yhwh will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.
8 Şir nərə çəkəndə Kim ondan qorxmaz? Xudavənd Rəbb söyləyəndə Kim peyğəmbərlik etməz?
The lion hath roared, who will not fear? the Lord Yhwh hath spoken, who can but prophesy?
9 Aşdodun qalalarında, Misir torpağının qalalarında belə elan edin: “Samariya dağlarının üzərinə yığılın. Oradakı böyük qarışıqlığı, Onun içindəki təzyiqi görün”.
Publish in the palaces at Ashdod, and in the palaces in the land of Egypt, and say, Assemble yourselves upon the mountains of Samaria, and behold the great tumults in the midst thereof, and the oppressed in the midst thereof.
10 Rəbb bəyan edir: “Hətta düz iş görməyi bacarmırlar. Onlar qalalarına zorakılıqla, Soyğunçuluqla qənimət yığır”.
For they know not to do right, saith Yhwh, who store up violence and robbery in their palaces.
11 Ona görə də Xudavənd Rəbb belə deyir: “Düşmən gəlib ölkəni mühasirəyə alacaq, Səni gücdən salıb qalalarını qarət edəcək”.
Therefore thus saith the Lord Yhwh; An adversary there shall be even round about the land; and he shall bring down thy strength from thee, and thy palaces shall be spoiled.
12 Rəbb belə deyir: “Çoban şir ağzından necə iki bud sümüyü Yaxud qulağın bir parçasını çəkib qurtararsa, Samariyada divan üzərində, Dəməşqdə yataqda oturan İsrail övladları da eləcə xilas olacaq”.
Thus saith Yhwh; As the shepherd taketh out of the mouth of the lion two legs, or a piece of an ear; so shall the children of Israel be taken out that dwell in Samaria in the corner of a bed, and in Damascus in a couch.
13 “Buna qulaq asın! Yaqub nəslinə xəbərdarlıq edin!” Ordular Allahı Xudavənd Rəbb belə deyir.
Hear ye, and testify in the house of Jacob, saith the Lord Yhwh, the God of Armies,
14 “Mən İsraillilərə günahlarına görə cəza verəcəyim gün Bet-Eldəki qurbangahı da cəzalandıracağam. O qurbangahın buynuzları kəsilib yerə tullanacaq.
That in the day that I shall visit the transgressions of Israel upon him I will also visit the altars of Beth–el: and the horns of the altar shall be cut off, and fall to the ground.
15 Mən qış sarayı ilə yay sarayını yıxacağam, Fil sümüyü ilə bəzənmiş evlər dağılacaq, Böyük saraylar viran qalacaq” Rəbb belə bəyan edir.
And I will smite the winter house with the summer house; and the houses of ivory shall perish, and the great houses shall have an end, saith Yhwh.
