1 Hay-küy sakitləşəndən sonra Paul şagirdləri çağırıb ruhlandırdı. Sonra onlarla vidalaşaraq Makedoniyaya getmək üçün yola çıxdı.
After the tumult had ceased, Paul called the disciples to him, and bade them farewell, and departed, in order to go into Macedonia.
2 O tərəfləri gəzib-dolaşaraq imanlılarla çoxlu söhbətlər aparıb onları ruhlandırandan sonra Yunanıstana getdi.
And when he had gone through those regions, and had exhorted them with many words, he came into Greece.
3 Orada üç ay qaldı və dəniz yolu ilə Suriyaya getmək istəyirdi ki, ona qarşı Yəhudilərin hazırladığı sui-qəsdə görə Makedoniya yolu ilə qayıtmaq qərarına gəldi.
And having remained there three months, he determined to return through Macedonia, because a plot had been laid for him by the Jews, as he was about to sail to Syria.
4 Pir oğlu Veriyalı Sopater, Saloniklilərdən Aristarx və Sekund, Derbeli Qay, Timotey, Asiyalılardan Tixik və Trofim onu müşayiət edirdi.
And Sopater of Berea, and Aristarchus and Secundus of Thessalonica, and Gaius of Derbe, and Timothy and Tychicus and Trophimus, who were Asiatics, accompanied him to Asia.
5 Bunlar bizdən əvvəl gedib bizi Troasda gözlədilər.
These went before, and waited for us at Troas.
6 Biz də Mayasız Çörək bayramından sonra Filipidən dəniz yolu ilə beş günə Troasa gələrək onlarla görüşdük. Orada yeddi gün qaldıq.
But we sailed from Philippi, after the days of unleavened bread, and came to them at Troas in five days, where we remained seven days.
7 Həftənin ilk günündə çörək bölmək üçün bir yerə yığıldığımız zaman Paul camaatla söhbət apardı. Ertəsi gün onlardan ayrılacaqdı, ona görə söhbəti gecə yarısına qədər davam etdirdi.
And on the first day of the week, when the disciples came together to break bread, Paul discoursed to them, intending to depart on the morrow; and he continued his speech till midnight.

And there were many lamps in the upper room, in which they had met together.
9 Eftik adlı bir yeniyetmə pəncərədə oturmuşdu. Paul söhbəti uzadanda Eftiki dərin yuxu apardı. Yuxuya gedən kimi o, üçüncü mərtəbədən aşağı düşdü və yerdən onu qaldıranda o, ölü vəziyyətində idi.
And a certain young man, named Eutychus, was sitting in the window, overpowered with deep sleep: and, as Paul was discoursing a long time, being oppressed with sleep, he fell from the third story, and was taken up dead.
10 Paul aşağı enib yeniyetmənin üstünə əyildi və onu qucaqlayaraq dedi: «Narahat olmayın, indi canı sağdır».
But Paul went down, and fell upon him, and embracing him, said: Be not troubled, for his life is in him.
11 Təkrar yuxarı qalxıb çörək böldü və yemək yedi. Gün doğana qədər onlarla uzun-uzadı söhbət aparandan sonra oradan ayrıldı.
And he went up again, and broke bread, and ate; and having conversed a long time, till daylight, he thus departed.
12 Oğlanı sağ-salamat apardılar və bu hadisədən çox ruhlandılar.
And they brought the young man alive, and were not a little comforted.
13 Biz irəli gedərək gəmiyə mindik və Assosa tərəf üzdük. Çünki Paulu oradan götürməli idik. O, quru ilə getmək istədiyi üçün bunu belə nizamlamışdı.
And we went on before to the ship, and put to sea for Assos, intending to take Paul on board at that place; for he had so directed, intending to go himself on foot.

And when he met us at Assos, we took him on board, and came to Mitylene;
15 Oradan da dənizdən üzərək səhəri gün Xios adasının qarşısına və bir gündən sonra isə Samosa çatdıq. Ertəsi gün Miletə gəldik.
and sailing from that place, we came, on the following day, opposite to Chios; and, on the next day, we arrived at Samos: and after stopping at Trogyllium, we came, on the next day, to Miletus.
16 Çünki Paul Asiya vilayətində vaxt itirməmək üçün Efesi ötüb keçmək qərarına gəlmişdi. O tələsirdi ki, imkan tapıb Əllinci Gün bayramında Yerusəlimdə olsun.
For Paul had determined to sail past Ephesus, that he might not spend time in Asia; for he hastened, that, if it were possible for him, he might be in Jerusalem on the day of Pentecost.
17 Paul Miletdən Efesə xəbər göndərərək cəmiyyət ağsaqqallarını yanına çağırtdırdı.
From Miletus he sent to Ephesus, and called the elders of the church.
18 Yanına gələndə onlara belə dedi: «Asiya vilayətinə qədəm basdığım birinci gündən bəri sizinlə olduğum dövrdən bu vaxta qədər özümü necə apardığım sizə məlumdur.
And when they had come to him, he said to them: You know, from the first day on which I came into Asia, how I have been with you during the whole time,
19 Yəhudilərin qəsd-qərəzi vasitəsilə sınaqlardan keçərkən Rəbbə tam itaətkarlıqla, göz yaşı içində qulluq edirdim.
serving the Lord with all lowliness of mind, and with tears, and with trials, which came upon me through the plots of the Jews;
20 Xeyirli olan hər şeyi sizə bəyan edərək istər açıq, istərsə də evdən-evə gəzib-dolaşaraq təlim verməkdən çəkinmədim.
and that I have kept back nothing that was profitable, but have preached to you, and taught you both publicly, and from house to house,
21 Həm Yəhudiləri, həm də Yunanları tövbə edib Allaha tərəf dönməyə və Rəbbimiz İsaya iman gətirməyə çağırdım.
bearing full testimony both to Jews and to Greeks, of the repentance that leads to God, and of the faith that leads to our Lord Jesus Christ.
22 İndi də Ruhun təkidi ilə Yerusəlimə gedirəm və orada başıma nə gələcəyini bilmirəm.
And now, behold, I am going, bound in spirit, to Jerusalem, not knowing what shall befall me there,
23 Lakin Müqəddəs Ruh hər şəhərdə xəbərdarlıq edirdi ki, məni zəncirlər və əziyyətlər gözləyir.
except that in every city the Holy Spirit testifies to me, saying, That bonds and afflictions await me.
24 Öz canıma heç əhəmiyyət vermirəm, onu qiymətləndirmirəm. Mənə kifayətdir ki, yolumu – Rəbb İsanın mənə tapşırdığı kimi Allahın lütfünü göstərən Müjdəni şəhadətetmə xidmətini başa çatdırım.
But I esteem this a matter of no importance, nor do I hold my life dear to myself, so that I may finish my course with joy, and the ministry that I have received from the Lord Jesus, to bear full testimony to the gospel of the grace of God.
25 İndi aranızda dolaşıb Padşahlıq barədə vəz etdiyim sizlərdən heç biriniz mənim üzümü bir də görməyəcək.
And now, behold, I know that you all, among whom I have gone preaching the kingdom of God, will see my face no more.
26 Ona görə bu gün bunu sizə bəyan etmək istəyirəm ki, mən təmizəm, heç kimin qanına bais olmamışam.
For this reason I solemnly affirm to you this day, that I am clean from the blood of all men.
27 Çünki mən çəkinmədən Allahın bütün iradəsini sizə çatdırmışam.
For I have not shunned to declare to you the whole counsel of God.
28 Həm özünüzə, həm də Müqəddəs Ruhun sizi nəzarətçilər təyin etdiyi bütün sürüyə diqqətlə baxın. Allahın Öz Oğlunun qanı bahasına əldə etdiyi bu cəmiyyətini bəsləyin.
Therefore, take heed to yourselves, and to all the flock over which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, that you be shepherds to the church of God, which he has purchased with his own blood.
29 Bilirəm ki, mən gedəndən sonra sürüyə rəhm etməyən yırtıcı canavarlar aranıza soxulacaq.
For I know this, that, after my departure, rapacious wolves will enter in among you, who will not spare the flock;
30 Aranızdan təhrif edilmiş sözlər deyən, şagirdləri özlərinin ardınca çəkmək istəyən adamlar çıxacaq.
and men will arise from among yourselves, speaking perverse things, that they may draw off disciples after them.
31 Buna görə oyaq olun. Üç il boyu, fasiləsiz, gecə-gündüz göz yaşı tökərək hər birinizə necə nəsihət verdiyimi yada salın.
Therefore watch, remembering that for three years, by day and by night, I ceased not to warn every one of you with tears.
32 İndi isə mən sizi Allaha və Onun lütfü barədəki kəlamına əmanət edirəm. Bu kəlam sizi inkişaf etdirib təqdis olunmuş bütün insanlar arasında irsə qovuşdurmağa qadirdir.
And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace; to Him who is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all the sanctified.
33 Mən heç kimin nə qızılına, nə gümüşünə, nə də pal-paltarına göz dikmişəm.
I have coveted no man’s silver, or gold, or apparel.
34 Siz də bilirsiniz ki, bu əllər həm mənim, həm də mənimlə olanların ehtiyaclarını təmin etdi.
You yourselves know that these hands have ministered to my necessities, and to those who were with me.
35 Gördüyüm hər işdə Rəbb İsanın “vermək almaqdan daha çox bəxtiyarlıq gətirər” sözünü yaddan çıxarmayıb belə əmək sərf edərək zəiflərə kömək etməyin vacibliyini sizə göstərdim».
In all things I have taught you by example, that by thus laboring, you ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus; for he himself said, It is more blessed to give, than to receive.
36 Paul bu sözləri söyləyəndən sonra diz çöküb onlarla birlikdə dua etdi.
And when he had thus spoken, he kneeled down and prayed with them all.
37 Sonra hamısı ağlayaraq Paulun boynuna sarıldı və onu öpdü.
And they all wept much, and fell on Paul’s neck, and kissed him,
38 Onlar ən çox «mənim üzümü bir də görməyəcəksiniz» sözündən kövrəldilər. Sonra onu gəmiyə qədər yola saldılar.
grieving most of all for the word he had spoken, that they would see his face no more. And they conducted him to the ship.
