1 İsrail padşahı Yarovamın padşahlığının iyirmi yeddinci ilində Yəhuda padşahı Amasyanın oğlu Azarya padşah oldu.

In the twenty-seventh year of Jeroboam king of Israel, began Azariah son of Amaziah king of Judah to reign.

2 O padşah olduğu vaxt on altı yaşında idi və Yerusəlimdə əlli iki il padşahlıq etdi. Anası Yerusəlimdən olub adı Yekolya idi.

Sixteen years old, was he when he began to reign, and, fifty-two years, reigned he in Jerusalem, —and, the name of his mother, was Jecholiah, of Jerusalem.

3 Azarya atası Amasyanın etdiyi kimi Rəbbin gözündə doğru olan işlər etdi.

And he did that which was right in the eyes of Yahweh, —according to all that, Amaziah his father, had done.

4 Lakin səcdəgahlar aradan qaldırılmadı, xalq hələ səcdəgahlarda qurban gətirir və buxur yandırırdı.

Only, the high places, took they not away, —still were the people sacrificing and burning incense in the high places.

5 Rəbb padşaha bəla göndərdi, o, ölüm gününə qədər cüzamlı oldu. Padşah başqa bir evdə yaşayırdı. Onun oğlu Yotam isə saraya başçılıq edərək ölkə xalqına hökm edirdi.

And Yahweh smote the king, so that he became a leper, until the day of his death, and dwelt in a lazar-house, —and, Jotham, son of the king, was over the house, judging the people of the land.

And Azariah slept with his fathers, and they buried him with his fathers, in the city of David, —and, Jotham his son, reigned, in his stead.

In the thirty-eighth year of Azariah king of Judah, began Zechariah son of Jeroboam to reign over Israel, in Samaria, [and he reigned] six months.

9 O, atalarının etdiyi kimi Rəbbin gözündə pis olan işlər etdi və Nevat oğlu Yarovamın İsrailə etdirdiyi günahlardan əl çəkmədi.

And he did the thing that was wicked in the eyes of Yahweh, as did his fathers, —he turned not away from the sins of Jeroboam son of Nebat, which he caused, Israel, to commit.

10 Yaveş oğlu Şallum ona qəsd hazırladı, onu xalqın qabağında vurub öldürdü və yerinə padşah oldu.

Then conspired against him, Shallum son of Jabesh, and smote him before the people, and slew him, —and reigned in his stead.

Now, the rest of the story of Zechariah, behold it! written in the book of the Chronicles of the Kings of Israel.

12 Rəbbin Yehuya «dördüncü nəslinə qədər sənin övladların İsrail taxtında oturacaqlar» deyə söylədiyi sözə görə belə oldu.

That, was the word of Yahweh, which he spake unto Jehu, saying, Thy sons, to four generations, shall sit on the throne of Israel. And it was so!

13 Yəhuda padşahı Uzziyanın padşahlığının otuz doqquzuncu ilində Yaveş oğlu Şallum padşah oldu və Samariyada bir ay padşahlıq etdi.

Shallum the son of Jabesh, began to reign, in the thirty-ninth year of Uzziah, king of Judah, —for the space of a month in Samaria.

14 Qadi oğlu Menaxem Tirsadan çıxıb Samariyaya gəldi. Samariyada Yaveş oğlu Şallumu vurub öldürdü və yerinə padşah oldu.

Then came up Menahem son of Gadi, from Tirzah, and entered Samaria, and smote Shallum son of Jabesh in Samaria, —and slew him, and reigned in his stead.

16 O vaxt Menaxem Tirsadan çıxıb Tifsahda və onun ətrafında yaşayanların hamısını qırdı. Darvazaları onun üzünə açmadıqlarına görə onları məhv etdi və orada olan bütün hamilə qadınları doğradı.

Then, Menahem smote Tiphsah, and all that were therein, and the boundaries thereof, from Tirzah, because they opened not, therefore he smote them, —all the women therein that were with child, he ripped up.

In the thirty-ninth year of Azariah king of Judah, began Menahem son of Gadi to reign over Israel, ten years [reigned he], in Samaria.

18 O, Rəbbin gözündə pis olan işlər etdi və bütün ömrü boyu Nevat oğlu Yarovamın İsrailə etdirdiyi günahlardan əl çəkmədi.

And he did the thing that was wicked in the eyes of Yahweh, —he turned not away from the sins of Jeroboam son of Nebat, which he caused, Israel, to commit, all his days.

19 Aşşur padşahı Pul ölkəyə hücum etdi. Menaxem ona min talant gümüş verdi ki, padşahlığını möhkəmləndirmək üçün Pul onunla müttəfiq olsun.

Pul the king of Assyria came against the land, so Menahem gave unto Pul, a thousand talents of silver, —that his hands might be with him, to confirm the kingdom, in his hand.

20 Menaxem Aşşur padşahına vermək üçün İsrailin varlı adamlarının hamısından gümüş yığdı, onların hər birindən əlli şekel gümüş aldı. Onda Aşşur padşahı bu ölkədə qalmayıb geri qayıtdı.

And Menahem exacted the silver of Israel, of all the mighty men of wealth, to give to the king of Assyria, fifty shekels of silver, of each man, —so the king of Assyria turned back, and stayed not there, in the land.

In the fiftieth year of Azariah king of Judah, began Pekahiah son of Menahem to reign over Israel, in Samaria, [and he reigned] two years.

24 O, Rəbbin gözündə pis olan işlər etdi və Nevat oğlu Yarovamın İsrailə etdirdiyi günahlardan əl çəkmədi.

And he did the thing that was wicked in the eyes of Yahweh, —he turned not away from the sins of Jeroboam son of Nebat, which he caused, Israel, to commit.

25 Peqahyanın mühafizəçilər rəisi Remalya oğlu Peqah ona qəsd hazırladı, Gileadlılardan əlli nəfərin köməyi ilə Samariyada sarayın qalasında onu Arqov və Arye ilə birgə vurub öldürdü və onun yerinə padşah oldu.

And there conspired against him—Pekah son of Remaliah, a hero of his, and smote him in Samaria, in the citadel of the house of a king, with Argob and with Arieh, and, with him, fifty men of the sons of the Gileadites, —and he slew him, and reigned in his stead.

In the fifty-second year of Azariah king of Judah, began Pekah son of Remaliah to reign over Israel, in Samaria, [and he reigned] twenty years.

28 O, Rəbbin gözündə pis olan işlər etdi və Nevat oğlu Yarovamın İsrailə etdirdiyi günahlardan əl çəkmədi.

And he did the thing that was wicked in the eyes of Yahweh, —he turned not away from the sins of Jeroboam son of Nebat, which he caused, Israel, to commit.

29 İsrail padşahı Peqahın dövründə Aşşur padşahı Tiqlat-Pileser gəlib İyonu, Avel-Bet-Maakanı, Yanoahı, Qedeşi, Xasoru, Gileadı, Qalileyanı və bütün Naftali torpağını tutdu, əhalisini də Aşşura sürgün etdi.

In the days of Pekah king of Israel, came Tiglath-pileser, king of Assyria, and took Ijon, and Abel-beth-maachah, and Janoah, and Kedesh, and Hazor, and Gilead, and Galilee, all the land of Naphtali—and carried them away captive to Assyria.

30 Ela oğlu Huşə Remalya oğlu Peqaha qəsd hazırladı, onu vurub öldürdü və Uzziya oğlu Yotamın padşahlığının iyirminci ilində onun yerinə padşah oldu.

And Hoshea son of Elah made a conspiracy against Pekah, son of Remaliah, and smote him, and slew him, and reigned in his stead, —in the twentieth year of Jotham, son of Uzziah.

32 İsrail padşahı Remalya oğlu Peqahın padşahlığının ikinci ilində Uzziya oğlu Yotam Yəhuda üzərində padşah oldu.

In the second year of Pekah son of Remaliah king of Israel, began Jotham son of Uzziah king of Judah to reign.

33 O, padşah olduğu vaxt iyirmi beş yaşında idi və Yerusəlimdə on altı il padşahlıq etdi. Anası Sadoq qızı Yeruşa idi.

Twenty-five years old, was he, when he began to reign, and, sixteen years, reigned he, in Jerusalem, —and, the name of his mother, was Jerusha, daughter of Zadok.

34 Yotam atası Uzziyanın etdiyi kimi Rəbbin gözündə doğru olan işlər etdi.

And he did that which was right in the eyes of Yahweh, —according to all that Uzziah his father had done.

37 Rəbb o dövrdə Aram padşahı Resini və Remalya oğlu Peqahı Yəhudalıların üstünə göndərməyə başladı.

In those days, began Yahweh to send against Judah, Rezin, king of Syria, —and Pekah son of Remaliah.

38 Yotam ataları ilə uyudu və babası Davudun şəhərində, atalarının yanında basdırıldı. Onun yerinə oğlu Axaz padşah oldu.

And Jotham slept with his fathers, and was buried with his fathers, in the city of David his father, —and, Ahaz his son, reigned, in his stead.
