1 İsrail padşahı Yehoaxaz oğlu Yoaşın padşahlığının ikinci ilində Yəhuda padşahı Yoaşın oğlu Amasya padşah oldu.
Yn the secounde yeer of Joas, sone of Joachas, kyng of Israel, Amasie, sone of Joas, kyng of Juda, regnyde.
2 O, padşah olduğu vaxt iyirmi beş yaşında idi və Yerusəlimdə iyirmi doqquz il padşahlıq etdi. Anası Yerusəlimdən olub adı Yehoaddan idi.
Amasie was of fyue and twenti yeer, whanne he bigan to regne; forsothe he regnyde in Jerusalem nyne and twenti yeer; the name of his modir was Joade of Jerusalem.
3 Amasya atası Yoaşın etdiyi kimi Rəbbin gözündə doğru olan işlər etdi, amma babası Davud kimi deyildi.
And he dide riytfulnesse bifor the Lord, netheles not as Dauid, his fadir; he dide bi alle thingis whiche Joas, his fadir, dide, no but this oonli,

7 O, on min nəfər Edomlunu Duz dərəsində qırıb Selanı müharibə ilə aldı. Onun adını Yoqteel qoydu və bu günə qədər də belədir.
He smoot Edom in the valey of makyngis of salt, `he smoot ten thousynde, and took `the Stoon in batel; and he clepide the name therof Jethel, `til in to present dai.
8 O vaxt Amasya İsrail padşahı Yehu oğlu Yehoaxaz oğlu Yoaşın yanına qasidlər göndərib dedi: «Gəl, qarşılaşaq».
Thanne Amasie sente messangeris to Joas, sone of Joachaz, sone of Hieu, kyng of Israel, and seide, Come thou, and se we vs `in batel.
9 İsrail padşahı Yoaş Yəhuda padşahı Amasyaya cavab verib dedi: «Livanda olan qanqal oradakı sidr ağacına xəbər göndərib “qızını oğluma arvad olmaq üçün ver” dedi. Amma Livanda olan bir çöl heyvanı keçərək qanqalı tapdaladı.
And Joas, kyng of Israel, sente ayen to Amasie, kyng of Juda, and seide, The cardue, `that is, a low eerbe, and ful of thornes, of the Liban sente to the cedre, which is in the Liban, and seide, Yyue thi douytir wijf to my sone; and the beestis of the forest, that ben in the Liban, passiden, and tredden doun the cardue.
10 Əlbəttə, sən Edomluları qırdın və ürəyin qürurlandı. Bununla öyün və öz evində otur. Nə üçün sən Yəhudalılarla birlikdə bəlaya düşmək üçün münaqişəyə atılırsan?»
Thou hast smyte, and haddist the maistri on Edom, and thin herte hath reisid thee; be thou apaied with glorie, and sitte in thin hows; whi excitist thou yuel, that thou falle, and Juda with thee?

12 Yəhudalılar İsraillilərin önündə məğlub oldular və hər kəs öz evinə qaçdı.
And Juda was smytun bifor Israel; and thei fledden ech man in to his tabernaclis.
13 İsrail padşahı Yoaş Yəhuda padşahı Axazya oğlu Yoaş oğlu Amasyanı Bet-Şemeşdə tutdu. Yoaş Yerusəlimə gəlib şəhər divarının Efrayim darvazasından Künc darvazasına qədər dörd yüz qulacını uçurdu.
Sotheli Joas, kyng of Israel, took in Bethsames Amasie, kyng of Juda, the sone of Joas, sone of Ocozie, and brouyte hym in to Jerusalem; and he brak the wal of Jerusalem, fro the yate of Effraym `til to the yate of the corner, bi foure hundrid cubitis.
14 Rəbbin məbədində və sarayın xəzinələrində tapılan bütün qızıl-gümüşü, bütün əşyaları apardı. Girov olaraq tutduğu adamları da götürüb Samariyaya qayıtdı.
And he took al the gold and siluer, and alle vessels, that weren foundun in the hows of the Lord, and in the tresours of the kyng; and he took ostagis, and turnede ayen in to Samarie.

24 O, Rəbbin gözündə pis olan işlər etdi və Nevat oğlu Yarovamın İsrailə etdirdiyi bütün günahlardan əl çəkmədi.
and dide that, that is yuel bifor the Lord; he yede not awei fro alle the synnes of Jeroboam, sone of Nabath, that made Israel to do synne.
25 Qulu Qat-Xeferli peyğəmbər Amittay oğlu Yunus vasitəsilə İsrailin Allahı Rəbbin söylədiyi sözə görə o, Xamat keçidindən Arava dənizinə qədər İsrail torpaqlarını geri aldı.

And Jeroboam slepte with hise fadris, the kyngis of Israel; and Azarie, his sone, regnede for hym.
