1 Davud oğlu Süleyman öz padşahlığını möhkəmləndirdi, Allahı Rəbb onunla idi və onu çox yüksəltdi.

6 Süleyman oraya – Rəbbin önündə, Hüzur çadırının qarşısındakı tunc qurbangaha qalxdı və onun üzərində min baş yandırma qurbanı təqdim etdi.

8 Süleyman Allaha dedi: «Sən atam Davuda böyük xeyirxahlıq göstərdin və onun yerinə məni padşah etdin.
And Salomon seide to God, Thou hast do greet mersi with Dauid, my fadir, and hast ordeyned me kyng for hym.
9 İndi, ya Rəbb Allah, atam Davuda olan vədin yerinə yetsin, çünki Sən məni yerin tozu qədər çox olan bir xalq üzərində padşah etdin.
Now therfor, Lord God, thi word be fillid, which thou bihiytist to Dauid, my fadir; for thou hast maad me kyng on thi greet puple, which is so vnnoumbrable as the dust of erthe.

Sotheli God seide to Salomon, For this thing pleside more thin herte, and thou axidist not richessis, and catel, and glorie, nether the lyues of them that hatiden thee, but nether ful many daies of lijf; but thou axidist wisdom and kunnyng, that thou maist deme my puple, on which Y ordeynede thee kyng,
12 Mən sənə nəinki hikmət və bilik, həm də var-dövlət, əmlak və izzət verəcəyəm ki, nə səndən əvvəl olan padşahlarda olub, nə də səndən sonrakılarda olacaq».

13 Süleyman Giveonda olan səcdəgahdan, Hüzur çadırının önündən Yerusəlimə gəldi və İsrail üzərində padşahlıq etdi.
